Tiger continued to pull Siti's hand up to the cafe's courtyard. Then Siti shook her hands to be free from Tiger.
The anger had not gone out in Tiger until he turned around and looked at Siti with a sharp look in his eyes. But as soon as Siti's grimacing face in pain held her hand, Tiger suddenly softened.
He felt sorry for the woman. Is it possible that he was too hard on Siti?
Tiger sighed, aware that his behavior was already outrageous. He realized he was not Siti. Then why was he angry and hit Brian?
"Sit, I'm sorry."
Siti glanced at Tiger cynically. "You should apologize to Brian. Not the same as me."
Tiger massaged his forehead. "Yes, sorry. I'll say sorry to him."
"I'm not feeling as good as Brian. My intention is just to ask for help with him to help tell Papa that the man I like is you," said Siti who was released to speak so furious with the situation that occurred.
Now everything's getting messy. She was embarrassed to ask Brian for help. It seems he had to talk to his father himself.
Hearing Siti's rant just now, Tiger frowned. He looked confused and happy.
"What did we say? You like me?"
The next second, Siti's face suddenly tensed up. He turned his gaze so as not to look directly at Tiger. He scratched the nape that was actually not itchy.
"Who said that? I'm just..."
Tiger pulled Siti's shoulder for the woman to look at him. "You said that. Don't pretend! I know you like me too."
Siti took a deep breath. It was useless for him to cover up his lies again. D
Now he has to be honest with Tiger about what happened.
"Yes, I do like you," Siti admitted in the end.
"Since when? And why didn't you just be honest at that time?" tiger asked with a full glance at Siti.
"I'm working with your mother" Siti recounted everything that happened between her and Ayana. What they had planned was for Tiger to become a more mature man.
Tiger was actually very angry because the people closest to him had lied and planned something on him. But the anger was doused by the happiness of realizing that his love did not clap one hand.
Cup.
A gentle kiss landed on Siti's lips as soon as she finished telling the story. Followed by a warm embrace that makes Siti feel like flying.
Siti closed her eyes while replying to Tiger's embrace. Then she opened her eyes and took off her embrace.
"But the thing is, Tiger, now Papa I misunderstood. He thinks the guy I love is Brian, not you."
Tiger's face turned serious. He looked around and asked, "What did you come here for?"
"Both car with driver. There," Siti pointed at one of the cars between the rows of cars in the parking lot.
Tiger immediately held Siti's hand and pulled her closer to the car.
"Eh, uh, wait! Where are we going?" Siti, who had no idea what Tiger was thinking, became confused as the man pulled his hand back.
"We've met your Papa. I want to propose to you right now," Tiger said in seriousness.
Then Tiger opened the car door so that Siti could enter. But Siti instead stood still in surprise with Tiger's sudden proposal.
"But, Tiger..."
"Not much but-but. Come on, come on in."
Tiger pulled Siti into the car. Then he ordered the driver to take them to Andrew's company office.
During the trip, Siti's heart pounded quickly. He wouldn't have expected Tiger to get that serious. He wasn't ready to introduce Tiger to his father.
"Tiger, how about tomorrow? I'm not ready yet" Siti bargained with Tiger sitting next to her.
"No. Anyway today I will meet your Papa," Tiger said firmly.
Siti sighed resignedly while interest in her forehead that felt dizzy for a while. Even until the feeling of dizziness was increasing when his feet climbed on the floor of his father's office.
Secretary Andrew who already knew Siti invited Siti and Tiger to enter Andrew's room. The middle-aged man was sitting on his back to the door.
Tiger cleared his throat for Andrew to realize his existence and to expel the nervousness in his heart.
"Excuse me, Om," Tiger said to Andrew, who sat behind him.
The city is getting tense. He glanced at Tiger and Andrew in turns. Cold sweat slid on his forehead and the tip of his fingers began to tremble.
"I came here to propose to Mr. Andrew's daughter. I really love her and want to make her my wife" Tiger said with a hint of fatigue.
Somehow declaring yourself to propose to people's children isn't as easy as it seems in the movies. Suddenly Tiger's chest was tied by a rope that made him short of breath.
"But I disagree" said Andrew still facing the window.
"But, Mister. I will definitely try my best to become Siti's husband. I'm ready to do anything, as long as you're willing to work on our relationship" Tiger took a foot to get close to Andrew's desk.
"I beg you, Sir."
A few moments pass only silence is created. There is no word from Andrew. The man was silent like a sleeping man.
So that Siti also stepped foot closer to her father's table. However, just one step he accidentally nudged a vase of flowers which resulted in the vase falling to the floor.
The sound of the vase falling made Andrew slightly jump. Suddenly he turned the chair and his face looked surprised by the presence of Siti with Tiger.
"Who, Kitty? The tiger? Since when are you guys here?"
Siti and Tiger faced each other with astonished looks. However, the next second they understood each other as soon as they saw an earphone tucked in Andrew's ear.
Apparently Andrew was getting a call from someone. Even the man didn't know if Tiger had come in and talked to him.
Andrew took off the earphones and put them on the table. He looked at Tiger and Siti with raised eyebrows waiting for an answer from one of the people.
Tiger is back. He should look cool in front of his future in-laws.
"Look, Sir. I came here to propose to Siti. I want to marry your daughter."
Andrew glanced at Siti. Then looked back at Tiger while rubbing his chin.
"But Siti will I match up with another man and..."
"No," said Siti quickly cutting off Andrew's speech. Instantly Siti regained consciousness and immediately lowered her head apologizing. "Sorry, I interrupted Papa. But the man I love is Tiger. Not Brian. Brian, I've taken it like my best friend, Pa."
Andrew's face shriveled looking confused as well as surprised at Siti's confession. Apparently he misunderstood Siti's wishes the other day.
"So the man you were referring to back then..." Andrew pointed at Tiger. "This guy?"
Siti nodded. His eyes looked at Andrew expectantly. Like a pair of kitten eyes that ask for affection.
That look made Andrew unable to resist let alone yell at his daughter. Then he took a deep breath and said, "All right. If he was your choice, Papa would agree."
"really?" ask Siti in a happy tone.
Andrew nodded his answer. In the next second, Siti slammed into Andrew's arms. He was very grateful to his father who turned out not to complicate his relationship with Tiger.
"But..."
Andrew's words made Siti look up to look at the father. So did Tiger who was smiling widely, now suddenly turned serious.
"But what, Pa?"
"But what Papa heard, Tiger is a playboy guy, Kitty. So if he messes with you. Let alone playing with fire behind you..."
"Oh, that's not possible, Mr. Andrew," Tiger cut off quickly while shaking his head. "I'm retired to playboy. Just chill. I'll try to be faithful with Siti."
Tiger glanced at Siti and saw her the woman smiled at him. Not with Andrew. The man kept a cold face.
"What guarantee?"
"The guarantee is that she should be circumcised twice, Pa," Siti said with an increasingly raised smile.
Then Tiger turned to Siti with his mouth slightly agape. Then his eyes moved down. Glanced at her pants and began to imagine what if her navel was actually circumcised twice.
Just imagining it makes Tiger feel sick.
"Don't Papa have a surgeon's acquaintance, right?" Siti deliberately asked to scare Tiger.
"No need for a doctor's help. Papa himself will cut off Tiger's trunk if he dares to cheat on you, honey."
Tiger shook his head as quickly as possible. "No. Nay! I will try to be faithful. I promise, Sir."
Siti and Andrew immediately laughed at Tiger's facial expression. The atmosphere that had been tense turned warm as the chatter created between them.
