I Don't Like Being a Big Boss
"Deb, here's a meal" Desta gave the beef sandwich, for the snack size, it was a sizeable loaf.
"Mmm, thank you Bontet" Debby immediately ate her bread and it didn't take long to finish.
"Wow, I didn't know you could chew that fast" Desta pretended to be surprised.
"Hmm.." in silence, Debby stuck her hand out toward Desta's waist, then pinched her.
"Why are you pinching me?" said Desta in pain.
"That's your punishment for delaying telling me the truth" Debby said in a stern tone.
"Huh? What does it have to do you're hungry with I haven't told you everything? Basic women, I can never guess their hearts" Desta murmured inwardly.
"E-eh that I promised to tell her while on the plane, was it considered delaying?" ask Desta.
"Mmm" Debby just nodded her head.
"Ah haha, alright sorry, I will tell you now" whispered Desta quietly.
"Actually it was me who helped you rise the post, because I did not like the nature of the Supreme like that would definitely make his subordinates depressed" Desta began to tell everything.
"I just don't want to make my company's performance decline just because the employees are not as thoughtful as the boss, so I decided to change the boss" said Desta.
"Oh so... Uh wait..!" Debby realized something.
"You said your company? Don't tell me you're the boss of Gloria's company" Debby asked curiously.
"Yes, since I hold 70 percent of the company's shares, it seems like I automatically became the boss in Gloria's company" Desta replied casually.
"If you don't believe me, I'll call Hendra to prove it" challenged Desta while holding his phone.
"Okay, it'll be even better for me to be more sure..!" Debby nodded in agreement with Desta.
Desta immediately contacted Hendra .
"Ah no, I just want to prove my point to someone" replied Desta.
Debby was so excited to hear Hendra speak, she actually recognized the voice and the accent, because it was Hendra who interviewed her when applying for a job at Gloria's company.
"Hendra, what is the status of the employee I asked you for? Has it been changed?" ask Desta.
"Already sir, I have replaced Agung with Debby, starting tomorrow Debby will be officially announced as the new team leader to the marketing division" replied Hendra in a firm tone.
"Mmm, good work, well thank you" Desta immediately closed the call.
"Hmm, I really don't understand the big boss's thinking" Hendra murmured inwardly, then he continued his activities.
"How's Deb? Is there enough explanation?" Desta asked curiously.
"Of course not yet..! If you're really a rich kid, why would you bother working in such a bad position before? You could've worked as a director of a company rather than a security guard or courier from the start." Debby's thinking was logical, but she was just thinking with a general mind.
Desta does not want to be a boss immediately, he wants to explore every job position so that he knows how to deal with every problem in every part of his family business later.
"Haha, for that matter I'm sure you won't accept" Desta smiled faintly.
"Try that..!" challenge Debby.
"OKAY..! It's because I don't like being the big boss right away" Desta's simple answer left Debby confused.
"Haha, right, you're so confused now" said Desta.
"Ah come on, I want to focus on eating cake now..!" Debby doesn't want to continue.
"Passengers of Hanoman Airlines aircraft with flight number H336N to Jakarta, please enter your plane because soon the plane will be departing"
Debby and Desta get on the plane.
