The Woman the Lord Pays

The Woman the Lord Pays
For the Last Time

Eliana wept beside her mother's unclosed coffin. The news of his mother's death was heard by his father. Today Eliana will cremate her mother's body and bring her mother back to her hometown according to her mother's request.

Eliana's condition is still weak, she should lie in the hospital to undergo post-natal care but she must be faced with the bitter reality where her mother must go to coincide with the day of giving birth. The sadness of her mother's departure and the loss of her baby was mixed in her heart.

Eliana ignored her condition, she simply consulted and rested her potluck. He will rest after cremating his mother's body and take her to Australia, where she was born and grew up. Who came to serve to take his mother's departure is not much, some of his mother's acquaintances only. After all, all that is not important, but the presence of his father and wife makes Eliana's heart filled with hatred.

His father's wife looked at Eliana's mother's body with a sneering look, finally the woman died as well. Her father approached Eliana who wiped away her tears occasionally and did not look at her at all.

"There's no need to cry over her disappearance, your mother would rather die!" said father.

Eliana was silent, both hands tightly gripped. Eliana tried to hold the anger in her heart, she should not be emotional in the presence of her mother's corpse so it is better that she ignored her father and his wife.

"After this come with Daddy and stay with us. Daddy will marry you to a rich businessman so that your life is guaranteed!" said father.

"Yes, Eliana. The guy's a rich businessman, you won't be short of money later. Your father's company will also be advancing. Your mother is dead so now you must serve your father!" said his father's wife.

"Shut your mouth!" eliana was upset. He did not care about any speech but they did not respect his mother's departure and did not respect her corpse at all.

"Why are you angry? I didn't say the wrong word. Your mother's dead, so what's for crying again. Now it's your father's turn, you must serve him as his daughter. The man was indeed a little old, but he had a lot of money!"

"I said, shut up old lady!" eliana shouted furiously.

"How dare you?" His father's wife looked angry.

"Enough!" his father shouted angry.

Eliana looked at them with hatred. He was very much not expecting their arrival but they just came uninvited and could only annoy him.

"We're talking after this, Eliana. But from now on you have to stay with Daddy, Daddy will guarantee your future from now on" said his father.

"I don't need it!" reject Eliana.

"Don't be strong and don't need it!" said his father's wife was cynical.

"I don't need it, I don't even expect your arrival after what you've done. Had you been willing to help me pay for the hospital fees I might still have been willing to go with your debt but now I don't need your sympathies too late!"

"Oh, so you're vengeful for what happened back then? you're mad at your father because we didn't want to lend you money at the time?"

Eliana did not answer, her eyes could not be separated from her father's wife who was increasingly acting outrageously. He thought his father's wife would be stopped if he kept quiet but it turned out that the woman took something out of her bag. An envelope is removed from the bag, after which the envelope is given to Eliana.

"It's money for you, to bury your mother's body. Don't let you think we really don't have a heart and don't bring anything and this flower" his father's wife stepped up to the flower she left and again approached Eliana.

Eliana grew angry, the envelope she had on hand clutched tightly. His father's wife looked towards the chest with a cynical and hateful look.

"Go, immediately bury your mother and come with us!" his father's wife said again.

Eliana stepped closer to her mother's coffin, picked up a flower thrown by her father's wife and stepped closer to her father's wife who looked so haughty.

"I don't need your presence nor my mother's!" eliana said as she threw the flowers she picked right into her father's wife's face.

"How dare you?" His father's wife seemed to be in disbelief but he was again startled by the envelope thrown by Eliana into his face.

"I don't need any money from you either. You better leave now!" banish him.

"How dare you? We've been kind!" his father's wife shouted angry.

"Enough, Eliana. Don't exaggerate!" his father was starting to look upset.

"You are not necessary! Don't mess up on my mourning show so go!" Eliana turned around, but her father's wife still did not stop.

"How dare you?" eliana's hand was reached then, Plakkkk!! A hard slap Eliana gave on her father's wife's face because she couldn't stand it.

The woman was shocked, and so was her father. Eliana looked at them with a hateful gaze, honestly she hated her father and wife.

"When you die, I will come so never look for me because I will look for you when you are dead!" after saying so, Eliana stepped away. Disappointment and sadness have made it so.

Her father's wife wanted to avenge the blow she got but her husband held her back and took her away. He will look for Eliana later, after Eliana is not so sad about losing her mother.

Eliana stood at her mother's side and picked up the petals on her mother's hand. He would never follow his father because after this he would leave and then come back at the right time to look for the existence of the twins he gave birth to.

"I'm sorry, Mom. I can't stand their presence" Eliana said. The look of his eyes could not be separated from his mother who had rested quietly.

"Goodbye, Mommy. I know you're happy in nature, I know you're not sick anymore. I'll take you after this. I promise to live well and from this moment on, no one will be able to bully me. I will return to find your two grandchildren that were taken from me. I will take it back because I am no longer bound by any agreement!"

Eliana's hand rubbed her mother's face slowly, one last time. Her tears came back because it was the last day she saw her mother's face. Unable to do so, Eliana even prevented the coffin from being closed because she was not ready to part. Eliana cried and clasped her mother's hand, and the separation was painful.

Inevitably the coffin was closed, Eliana sobbed without anyone comforting because she was alone. He was only able to wipe away his tears which he could not bear especially when his mother's corpse began to be cremated. Eliana waited alone because the mourners were gone and after several hours of waiting, her mother's ash box was found.

Eliana leaves, carrying her mother's ash box and a suitcase because she has to go to Australia, to her mother's hometown. Today he will indeed go to fulfill his vow to his mother but later, he will definitely return to search for the whereabouts of the two princesses.
