The roar of the lion's footsteps sounded like the sound of a drum that was struck slowly but rhythmically shahdu, timidly disguising the silence of the night. The breeze blows quite fast in the middle of a grove of wild bushes that dance like a bunch of dancers.
From a distance can be seen dimly light from a house that does not appear to be covered in fog. The atmosphere around him looked so quiet and quiet. Only the murmur of the night wind felt so cold and gripping.
“Kak Ucup, it's my village.” Point Jane towards a faint light visible from a distance.
Ucup squinted his eyes scanning the area of the village designated by Jane, but no life was found by Ucup.
“I don't feel any life there. What happened to your village?” suhut Ucup after scanning it.
“Are they all dead?” Jane was starting to feel anxious. He recalled back when his family was killed by the people of the darkness sect.
“Ti-no!” racau Jane was so afraid to imagine the bad possibilities that occurred in her village.
“Take it easy, we will check it out soon,” said Ucup calmed it down.
Bing Shi who understood the anxiety of the girl then accelerated his pace to the intended village. The next few steps, they arrived at the village gate without a name. Ucup then descended from Bing Shi's back followed by the two girls. His gaze was fixed towards the gate made of metal with random patterns engraved filling the gate crossbar.
“What village is this, Jane?” tanya Ucup wants to know.
“Virgin Ghost, Brother,” says Jane.
Ucup smiled wryly at it, then turned his gaze to a wooden house that was large enough as far as the twenty spears before him. A house so quiet and scary. Ucup set foot toward him.
“This is the family residence of Peter,” Jane said.
Ucup nodded and immediately pushed the tightly shut door.
Cracks!
Instantly, Ucup was wide-eyed to see five bodies lying parallel behind the door. Their bodies turned blue but there were no visible wounds all over their bodies. He looked carefully at the five sprawled bodies. The one on the far left was a distended middle-aged man who only wore sepaha shorts. Beside him was a woman whose age was not far from that man. It is believed to be his wife. The other three were a young man in his 20s fully dressed; a teenage girl of about 17; and another a boy of under ten. They were fully dressed and impressed. It looks like you are going to attend an event.
However, once observed, there was no trace of fighting around the house. Not a single drop of blood splashed around the floor or walls of the house. Ucup was confused, Diamond was confused, and Bing Shi was confused. Everything's confused. Likewise with Jane who was stunned wailing bitterly Peter's family who recognized him.
Ucup crouched in front of the body of the child who was closest to the door. The body of the child is looked upon very seriously and thoroughly. Ucup grew increasingly astonished and murmured, “There were no signs of persecution, no injuries, not even his life. Who killed you and how did you get killed?”
Ucup then stood up to check every corner of the house.
“Nothing is missing from this house other than the loss of lives of its residents,” Ucup muttered after making sure there was no indication of theft in every room he examined.
“Let's check out the other house!” exciting Ucup.
In the second house which was ten spears away from Peter's family home. Ucup again pushed the door to see the conditions inside. Silent, there was no visible body in the central room. He then walked into a sealed room.
Cracks!
Back Ucup made wide see two bodies without a piece of cloth is doing body intercourse on a wooden cot. The man is looking at the woman's body. Although the bodies of the two were still intertwined, they did not move. Ucup did not expect the two to suddenly continue the scene. He turned around and closed the door. Diamond and Jane looked astonished to see it.
“What's up, Brother?” ask Diamond.
“They are a newly married couple, Dilan and Lena,” Jane said.
“Not Dilan it's Milea's partner?” ask Ucup with a serious look.
“Hah!” Jane frowned hearing that.
Outside the house, Ucup's gaze was fixed in a direction far ahead of him. He saw a body lying in the middle of the path. His eyes narrowed ascertaining the truth of what he saw. After confirming it, Ucup ran quickly to get close to him. Sure enough, he found another corpse, turned his back, confused again, muttered again.
This time he found the corpse of a young woman, beautiful, white, crazy, but silent, like a mannequin statue.
A woman who died in a state of bulging eyes and gaping mouth, but still beautiful even though lifeless. From her condition, the woman died in a terrible fear. I don't know what he saw. Being asked is impossible to answer.
Diamonds came and covered the woman's body with a piece of cloth.
“Kasian yes, Brother. Where is still young and beautiful,” chirps Diamond staring pity.
Ucup did not respond, he only gave a soft look and immediately turned to look at the night sky. After that, he spread his eyes around. Dark, foggy, and gripping.
Slowly his footsteps swung closer to a worn-out wooden house. His eyes continued to observe the surrounding state. A silent atmosphere enveloped the entire village. It felt empty and almost without sound. Only a soft sounding whir of wind struck his sense of hearing. He briefly observed the shabby wooden house in front of him, then again observed the surroundings. Just the same, silent and gripping.
His steps continued from one house to another. One by one he observed to the end of the village which left a house that had lighting in it.
Ucup did not have time to open it, from behind him, Jane ran and broke the door hard. A hysterical scream broke the silence of the night. Jane rests in front of her parents who are lying lifeless in terrible conditions. The head is severed, the body is full of incision wounds, and the intestines are decomposed out of the stomach. Tragic and so cruel.
Shortly after, Jane collapsed. Ucup hugged him and took him to a room and laid him on a wooden cot.
“While the time, we stay here until morning arrives,” Ucup said to Diamond who was standing nearby.
The diamond nodded while smiling gently.
“Son, should we bury all the bodies of the inhabitants?” Diamonds suggested.
“Not now! There is still tomorrow,” Ucup said as he shook his head slowly.
“Rest …! Friends Jane!” he then left the diamond in the room.
Ucup sat on the steps of the stairs, accompanied by Bing Shi and the three cute monsters that were running around. Ucup was slightly amused by his three monsters.
“Your Majesty, my whole life, I have never seen such a strange death in this village. Is this all the work of the Devil nation?” bing Shi asked guessed.
“There is most likely involvement from the Devil nation, but not directly those who do,” Ucup replied.
“I mean Your Majesty?”
“The first time I went on a mission, I stopped at Story Heart village. All the inhabitants were killed by the Devil nation, but the conditions were much different from the death of the villagers of the Ghost Virgin. The inhabitants there died quietly like the slumber of the living. While here, all of them died in the opposite condition. Full of fear depicted on the look of their faces.”
