Mysterious Crow

Located on a hill whose top there is a hole deep enough. Ucup imagined how terrible the fight that happened in the past.

“Living in this realm is like entering the law of the jungle, the strong will survive, while the weak will perish. I am grateful to be able to live in a world that does not need to have superpowers,”.

“Long An,” call Ucup.

“Hamba, Your Honor,” says Long An.

“Take me back to Luyan City!” utah Ucup.

Instantly, Long An was already nearby by lowering his body. Ucup jumped up on his back.

Shortly after, the two reached the front of the Peach Flower Restaurant, but there were no more corpses scattered in front of the restaurant like the last time Ucup saw him. 

“It looks like they have all been interred by the surviving imperial family,” muttered Ucup paying attention to the area around him.

He then jumped off Long An's back and immediately stepped inside the restaurant. As soon as the door opened, Ucup saw no one inside. 

“Damn it! Without the energy of the universe, I could not scan the life around here, ” complained Ucup who had difficulty finding the whereabouts of people in the restaurant.

The sealing of the universe's energy makes Ucup must maximize his five senses. He then walked up the stairs to the next floor. There was no sound he could hear, only the silence of the dark empty buildings at night. Fortunately he was able to create fire from his finger to illuminate his steps.

“You don't have to worry about your limitations, Lord Ucup. There is me who can still scan for the presence of living things around you,” Prince Xiao Li said and calmed him down.

“Ha-ha! I've forgotten you, Brother,” said Ucup was relieved. 

“Calm down, I'm your mission partner, so I should have helped you,” timpal Prince, “but I didn't find life upstairs. Try checking in the secret passageway, who knows they are hiding there.”

Ucup grinned just realized it. He quickly climbed back down the stairs and entered the secret hallway of the restaurant.

“I found Bing Shi's aura at the end there, but his condition was so weak,” Prince Xiao Li Dan told.

“Bing Shi, ..., ah, thank goodness he is still alive!” reply Ucup further accelerated his pace following the instructions of Prince Xiao Li Dan.

As soon as he reached the end of the hall, Ucup was wide at the sight of Bing Shi's terrible condition. His body was broken full of sharp object slash wounds, even he was alive with only one foot left. 

“Bing Shi, swallow this!” said Ucup while putting a pill into Bing Shi's mouth.

Unlike when Ucup was draining his natural energy in healing, this time with the pills he made, the healing process had a slightly longer time. Even so, Ucup did not mind it, he was so calm to see the healing process in his monster beast body. 

A short while later, Bing Shi's body recovered on its own, even his three lost legs were now growing back.

“You just recovered. Get up and sit down!” ucup said he asked for it.

“Thank you, Your Majesty,” reply Bing Shi directly according to him.

“Tell me everything that happened!” pinta Ucup's.

In the story revealed by Bing Shi it is known that after no more demon Wolf sect people are lurking about their existence, the, Princess Zhao Ning ordered the remaining nobles to burn all the rotting corpses in the front yard of the restaurant. However, just as they were about to do the process of burning the bodies, hundreds of large crows came to swarm the corpses and ate them up without waste.

Bing Shi who saw him instantly carried out the attack was aided by the imperial family and the nobles. Initially they managed to kill the crow horde that ate the corpses, but something bigger came back from the sky which suddenly became dark filled with thousands of other crows. 

Everyone who looked up at the sky panicked, they went back inside the restaurant. Hordes of crows entered the restaurant through open windows and roofs and attacked everyone inside. The atmosphere at that moment was terrifying, the area within the restaurant was filled with crows that made everyone unable to breathe and difficult to move.

Realizing the critical condition, Bing Shi exerted all of his abilities to save himself entering the secret passageway. But he had to sacrifice his body which continued to be gnawed sharp beaks of the crow leaving only one foot when he managed to enter the secret passage.

“Means that all the dead were eaten by crows,” said Ucup was heartbroken by everything he heard.

“Pardon the servant, Your Majesty,” reply Bing Shi felt failed to be able to save anyone from the Zhao Imperial family.

“It's not your fault, Bing Shi,” said Ucup chimed in, “what I think is why there are no traces left behind from the crow horde?”

“Lord Ucup, this is a danger!” prince Xiao Li said and began to think of something bad.

“What do you mean, Brother?” ask Ucup curious.

“Those crows can't just attack the people hiding in this restaurant, I'm sure they're also hunting other living things. We must hurry to protect the animals we saved!” prince Xiao Li Dan concluded.

“Sial!” rutuk Ucup realized something.

“What's up, Lord Ucup?” asked Prince Xiao Li Dan.

“ Along the way, I did not see any animals. Don't-don't!” Ucup started to panic at the thought of it.

“Come quickly! We have to go back to the Wolf Forest,”.

Ucup and Bing Shi ran away from the restaurant. Outside the restaurant, Ucup asks Long An to take him to the Wolf Forest.

In the speed of flying towards the Wolf Forest, Ucup seemed to be holding back the burning anger in his heart. He felt that failure could not protect those he had saved.

“Lord Ucup, why did it occur to return to the Wolf Forest?” ask Prince.
