In the Queen's room, Altezza is stunned by a book that Caitlyn retrieves from the bookshelf in the room. The book that was quite large, and very very thick, was thicker than the book of the Eastern Continent that he had read in the palace library some time ago.
"Mom's kidding?" muttered Altezza stared in disbelief at the extremely thick book.
Caitlyn chuckled as she showed the book to her youngest son. Seeing the expression of his son's interest in reading that seemed to instantly blur away, made him laugh out loud for a moment. He knows the figure of Altezza, he is a man who does not really like to read books, only read when necessary. Therefore, the woman took the book to a study table in her room, and then sat there while opening hundreds of pages.
"Basilisk, an animal that emerged during the great war a century ago, involving an alliance army between humans, elves, dwarves, and half-beast humans. The basilisk was raised by one of the demons named Asmodeus, of which he had various abilities, one of which was to be able to control spirits." Caitlyn began her reading when she reached the middle page of the big, thick book.
Altezza sat on the edge of the bed, and listened carefully to the recitation of his mother reading for him. Two things caught his attention when Caitlyn began her reading of the Basilisk.
"Elf, Dwarves, and Humans are half animals. Where are they all now? Why haven't I heard anything about their kingdom or their country?" altezza asked, looking quite confused.
Caitlyn turned her head, looked at her son and answered the question, "every nation has its own life, Altezza. The last thing you know, they choose to live in their own world" she said with gentle intonation.
"Why is that? Wouldn't if we lived together, everything would be so much more beautiful?" sahut Altezza's.
Caitlyn shook her head and immediately said, "not everything will be more beautiful, because the three nations have their own characteristics, and that is what makes us unable to coexist directly."
The graceful woman then turned the pages of her book, and found an explanation of the three nations. Elves, Dwarves, and Half-Beast Humans.
"Elf is famous for their elegance, beauty, and class, they are just like the human nobles that are us. In addition they have a close attachment to nature" Caitlyn said, explaining some things about elves.
"Beautiful? Are they all women?" cetus Altezza innocently when he heard about 'beauty'.
Caitlyn chuckled, looking and hearing the question, "of course not, dear. They're just like us, there's men and there's women."
"Then what about the others? Continue, Bun!" altezza said, raising both feet on the bed, and slowly positioning himself leaning on the back of the mattress.
Queen Caitlyn seemed to smile at the childish nature of her youngest son appearing, the childhood-like side of Altezza who almost always asked her to read the story before going to bed.
"The dwarves, though they are short creatures, are famous for their toughness, mining skills, craftsmanship, and technological craftsmanship."
"What about the half-animal man you mentioned?" cetus Altezza asked with a curious look.
Caitlyn paused her reading activity, looking at her son warmly and answering the question, "they are just like us humans, what sets us apart and they have ears and tails like animals" she said.
"What about their skin?" ask Altezza.
"Most of what you know, they still have the same skin as us, only they have ears and tails of animals that we don't have" Caitlyn replied.
Altezza still looked at his mother with a curious gaze, especially regarding this, a half-beast man who himself had never witnessed or seen directly with his two eyes.
"Where are they now?" altezza asked again.
Caitlyn's gaze seemed inclined to look down upon the question, smiled faintly and replied, "the social inequalities of the last half-century have made many of them slaves."
"Because of this, they always limit themselves and choose to disappear, away from us the human race," continued Caitlyn.
Altezza looked a little disappointed and saddened to hear this. But his curiosity still did not subside, "where can I see or meet them?" tanyanya back.
Queen Caitlyn smiled warmly, closed the thick book on her desk, looked at the face of her youngest son and said, "this world is vast, Altezza. Explore this world, as much as you. Later you will know many things you have never known, one of which may be you will meet one of them."
Altezza smiled happily, looking up at the spacious and luxurious ceiling and saying, "i can't wait for spring!"
"What have you prepared?" caitlyn asked, moving to sit on the edge of the bed, closer to her son who was leaning on the back of his mattress.
"I feel ready, but not so sure either. Can you help me with anything that needs to be prepared?" he said, looking at his mother who is now in front of him.
Queen Caitlyn seemed to smile gently and replied, "alright, tomorrow mother help, yes ...!"
