"What did we say before, Zoey?" Cora had nothing to offer other than ridicule. “But you won't listen to us. What's the point for you to be so stubborn? Blind faith will do you no good.”
Zoey smiled sadly at herself. Maybe he really won't come.
"Just one minute left until midnight," said Logan, glancing at his watch.
The rest were equally dismissive in their comments. “Wake, Zoey. He has turned his back on the country. You don't think he still cares about you and Forlevia, do you?”
"You're a fool if you keep waiting."
"Time's up. Let's go back inside.”

Clearing his throat, Thierry tried to make excuses. "I mean, I just don't want Evie to lose her father and Zoey to lose her husband."
"That's right," Judy quickly followed up. "A child needs a father."
The rest nodded in understanding, seemingly having bought an excuse.
"We're happy to see you alive" Thierry told Levi sincerely, "If anything, we're happy for Evie and Zoey."
Thas right. The living Levi worked to support them on all accounts. Therefore, Thierry was indeed happy that he was alive.
As the initial shock passed, Judy suddenly felt the urge to cry, but she held back her tears.
Levi nodded to the two of them and turned to smile at his wife and daughter. He patted Forlevia's head gently. “I told you I'd be back for you and Evie in three months. I am a man of my words. Zoey, it's time we go home.”
“Not so fast!” Shaun interrupts loudly when he sees Levi taking Zoey and Forlevia away. "Levi Garrison, have you forgotten something?"
Logan and several others immediately caught him. "That's right!" He completes. "Have you forgotten about the conditions you had to meet before you could go with your family?"
"Oh?" Levi furrowed his brows.
Surprise flashes in Thierry and Judy's eyes at the sudden intervention, but they soon connect the dots and realize what the other person is talking about.
Unlike Shaun and Logan, they lack the courage or motivation to sue Levi. After all, the entire Westford Grand Family had accepted him as their de facto master. There was absolutely no point in lifting that special provision anymore.
Unaware of the thoughts raging in Thierry's mind, the others remained persistent.

“Thierry, why did you let him go?” Cora pressed down with a restless expression. "He didn't meet the requirements you set!"

These documents contain the information you requested—all suspicious cases of suspected criminals in the last century who allegedly committed heinous crimes but were not convicted and lost or presumed dead.”
He highlights a certain profile for Levi. “Take this guy for example-Eugene Gordon. He was once the patriarch of the richest and strongest family in the South.The family that had last night gone missing, and he was also presumed dead.
