The Retaliation of the Dragon: Rise Of The Unbroken

The Retaliation of the Dragon: Rise Of The Unbroken
An unexpected encounter with the Minotaur

The journey of Faelan and Elysia takes them deeper into the mysterious forest. They passed through large and thick trees, and the sound of the wind rustled through the branches swaying above them. They were heading towards a cave that was once a portal to the dragon world. However, the tranquility of the forest was suddenly interrupted by the sound of heavy footsteps echoing.

"There's something ahead, Fae. Be careful!"elysia said in a whispering voice, worried.

They approached a large cave hidden among the trees. And from inside the cave came the Minotaur, a towering half-man half-bull with huge muscles and two sharp horns on its head. He doesn't look like a wild creature. Instead, he appeared to be using a complete battle armor.

Suddenly the Minotaur's instinct was active. His eyes looked at Faelan and Elysia, and he barked loudly before stepping forward.

The minotaur stared intently with red eyes and spoke in an echoing voice, "Elf and the human with the scent of a dragon. You have no right to be here!"

Elysia surprised. No minotaur should be in this forest. Someone must have sent it. He chose to get involved in helping Faelan. “Fae, prepare. This is no longer training. Minotaur is an enemy that you can't fight with just physical ability”

“Wait! Can I try something?” whisper Faelan.

Faelan then explained his plan briefly to Elysia.

“Alright, if that's what you want. I'll help from behind. But, if something happens, I will immediately finish off the Minotaur” Elysia said with a sharp look.

Faelan nodded. He then shouted to the forest behind him, “RAKKO! COME HERE!”

With heavy thumping steps, Rakko came running. He brought his big baton.

“Iya, sir. This Jongosmu is ready to take orders from you” Rakko knelt on one leg and bowed.

“Look there! You must defeat him” Faelan pointed at the Minotaur still standing in front of the cave door.

Rakko reprimanded from behind Faelan's body.

“WHAT?! How could a Minotaur be in this forest? Mampuslah I” pekik Rakko. Now he shudders in horror. He was comparing the size of the Minotaur body that was twice as large as his body.

“So you'd rather die in my hand than fight that Minotaur?”

“No, sir. Of course you're more terrible than that minotaur”

Faelan stared hard. He looks offended.

“No. I mean you're much better than him” Rakko immediately corrected the sentence.

“Come forward! Show me why your life deserves my forgiveness. I will also join fight”

“Why not tell from earlier, sir? If I know you will also fight, then from the beginning, the winner has been determined”

“Be careful!” Elysia interrupted. “Do not let your guard down. He's no ordinary Minotaur. His equipment and style of speech sounded like he was already trained. This minotaur is someone”'s man

Faelan nodded towards Elysia.

Elysia replied to him while starting to cast a spell.

“Now!” exclamation Faelan.

Rakko and Faelan then darted forward towards the mouth of the cave.

Elysia followed them from behind.

The Minotaur ran forward with heavy steps. He swung the huge mace from the rock he held firmly, he howled releasing a shout that shook the forest.

Rakko held him with a club. “Keugh!” his erang.

The Minotaur hit was far more devastating than Rakko had imagined. Both of his fat legs to slash into the ground, as if the rock soil was like soft mud.

Faelan who had jumped up earlier now slashed his sword towards the Minotaur's head.

Tsivi!

Faelan's sword scratched the Minotaur's helmet made of hard black metal, resulting in a flash

sparks.

“Damn it! Very hard!” Faelan then stomped on Minotaur's chest and jumped back. “Elysia, Buff!”

Rakko pushed the Minotaur mace along with the Faelan backward leap.

The Minotaur is now pushed back.

“In the name of ancient power, with elements aligned this hour, Aurum, golden strength, arise, Grant me might, beyond the skies! Protect us!” Elysia casts the Aurum buff spell.

From the two hands of Elysia that looked like she was pushing air, out a glittering golden light.

The light then flew through the air and flowed through the bodies of Felan and Rakko.

The two melee fighters then felt an incredible sensation. Along with its glittering body, they were also being flowed with abundant energy.

“Hahaha. Great also you pointy ears” said Rakko while busy watching his glittering body.

“Jaga your mouth, Rakko! Elysia is my mentor!” Faelan pinned back Rakko's head.

Ting!

There was a buzzing sound like two iron ones colliding.

“Waw! It's really something!” Faelan looked at his left fist which now felt light and sturdy at the same time. “Come! We start again!” connect Faelan while darting forward.

“Ready, sir!” Rakko ran with heavy strides while laughing gleefully. “Now, I will definitely devour you, black bull!”

Now the fight between the three races looked so fierce. Flashes of light and buzzing created a gripping atmosphere in the dark forest.

Faelan and Rakko managed to push the Minotaur into the mouth of the cave.

Although slowly, but little by little the life energy of the Minotaur began to drain.

“Damn it!” The minotaur retreated and started chanting something, “Dark Reinforcement!” his screeches. Then the darkness began to creep up and envelop his body.

Now each Minotaur attack feels much different than before.

Faelan and Rakko repeatedly bounced and hit the cave rocks. Every time one of them bounced, the others would rise and strike back.

“Fae, Rakko! If this continues, we will lose. The time limit of Buff Aurum will soon run out. You guys should end this quickly” exclaimed Elysia from behind.

“You talk as if this is easy. You don't know how hard this bastard's body is. Why don't you just fight, you pointy ears!?” Rakko grimaced while trying to throw down the rocks that hit him.

“No!” Faelan had now bounced back and stood beside Rakko, “If you interfere, this training will be meaningless. Elysia! Illumination! Then Buff is next! Use two at a time!”

“WHAT?! TRAINING?” Rakko was astonished.

In a split second, every wall and ceiling of the cave was overflowing with bright light. There were so many small particles that lit up and continuously spread out along the cave.

Faelan's sword was fed with strong light and magic energy.

Every inch of Faelan's body felt very light.

“Come, forward Rakko!” exclamation Faelan.

“Hei taper ears, where is my Buff?” said Rakko, annoyed.

“Silence you're a jongos! Here I am the main character!”

“Hehe. Of course, sir!”

The two of them then moved forward.

Faelan get to first.

The Minotaur slammed its sound towards Faelan who was only the size of his waist.

Dust filled the ground where Faelan stood.

But Faelan's not there anymore.

Minotaur.

Faelan was on the ceiling of the cave. Then with one quick leap, Faelan slashed at the Minotaur's chest.

Fresh black blood flowed from the Minotaur's chest. At first glance, the darkness that enveloped him was revealed, then the darkness was now slowly reunited, trying to close the tear in the Minotaur's chest.

“ARRRRRGHH! FUCKING MAN!” minotaur Shouts. His eyes now seemed to be giving off a deep red flash of light.

Rakko hit the Minotaur's knee. The minotaur seemed shaky. Then with a flaming look, he hissed downwards, towards Rakko who seemed to have realized that he had just made the Minotaur even more upset.

“Oh, ****!” Rakko looked up resignedly.

Then a powerful mace swing hit Rakko.

Rakko now bounced and hit the cave wall so fiercely. Rakko was squeezed between the large rocks of the cave wall.

“I'll stop messing around” said Minotaur while releasing his big mace, “Double dark reinforcement! The Dark Spell! Beak the limit! Unchain Dark Mater!” The minotaur shook as it completed each of its spells.

A violent burst of energy made the walls of the cave tremble violently. Then various kinds of black flashes came out from the Minotaur's body. The entire concentration was like creeping and surrounding his body.

“FAE! BACK OFF! IT'S DANGEROUS!” Peeked Elysia from behind.

Elysia advanced so quickly while continuously muttering spells.

Elysia tried to attack the Minotaur.

Several flashes of Elysia's long-range magic rained down on the Minotaur.

But, the darkness surrounding the Minotaur was absorbing Elysia's magic just like that.

“Light Reinforcement!” Elysia kicked the Minotaur in the chest.

The minotaur didn't move a bit.

It was precisely the body strengthening magic surrounding Elysia that was absorbed into the black particles.

With a flaming look full of terror, the Minotaur squeezed Elysia's legs very hard.

“Arrrrghh!” Elysia Erang.

Every joint and bone of Elysia's leg was broken and gave off a terrible chirping sound.

The Minotaur then blew away Elysia's light body.

Elysia hit a big rock. He leaned weakly. His whole body felt crumpled.

“ELYSIAAAAA!” peekik Faelan's.

It was so fast that Felan could not follow it with his eyes.

Faelan grabbed the already weak body of Elysia.

“This is nothing. Calm down young man!” whispered Elysia. He tried to smile with all his remaining strength.

Elysia put her hand on the chest, “Heal!” Elysia chanted in a weak voice.

Nothing's going on. Damnit damnit! Why must it be now!? Inner Elysia.

Faelan shuddered in horror. He knew that Elysia was lying that she was okay.

“Go, Fae! Save yourself!” elysia said with a weak voice.

Faelan was still half conscious. His mind is raging. Once again, he will lose someone he loves.

“FAE! Hear me! The world needs you more than me! Run away! A hero cannot die at the beginning of the story, or the world will fall into darkness forever. You are my only hope!” shouted Elysia.

Elysia's shout made Faelan come to a realization.

Faelan's gaze looked strange. Like the gaze of a soldier who experienced Thousand Yard

Stares.

“No! I'm not running anymore! If I save the people closest to me I fail! How will I save this world? Is that the kind of hero this world wants?! At least I'm not. I won't be like that anymore!” Faelan advanced with an expressionless look.

“Fae, wait!” Elysia tried to reach Faelan with a crumpled body covered in blood.

Elysia failed to hold him back.

The Faelan pendant started to shake.

Then...

With an unimaginable speed, Faelan darted, leaving behind only a collection of dust and footprints that formed an indentation on the cave floor.
