The Retaliation of the Dragon: Rise Of The Unbroken

The Retaliation of the Dragon: Rise Of The Unbroken
The Land of Dragons

In the past, this land above the clouds was a truly magical place. Awe-inspiring natural beauty and unexpected luxuries encompassed the entire land. Colorful flowers bloomed along the streets, dotting countless landscapes. The thick green-leaved giant trees provide a cool shade in the soft sunlight. As well as magical gardens filled with exotic plants and flowers make this country a paradise hidden above the clouds.

The country is also known as a place where the greatest students and magicians come together to share knowledge, seek wisdom, and preserve their power. The towering towers, made of glittering stone and their spires waving over the blue sky, are a place where the spirit of science and art is wholeheartedly dedicated.

But all of these are past stories. After a deadly dragon tribe war swept the country, the place once filled with magic is now only a memory. Now, scattered debris is visible along the remains from the heyday thousands of years ago. The magnificent towers have collapsed, and the once lush gardens are now just wild grass. The streets that once were full of life, are now only decorated by cracked rocks and forgotten walls.

At least this beautiful land still leaves its natural wonders, but the charm that used to fill the air has disappeared. This land above the clouds, once a place where students and witches gathered, was now occupied only by the desolate wind and the clouds passing by. Despite the obvious signs of destruction, there is still beauty left in this rubble, as if to bring Elysia to a memory of a rich past with legends that once lived in history that ever existed.

They had arrived at a large clearing in the middle of a lush forest. In such a quick flash, the Faelan pendant let out a blue light that filled the altar. Creating a projection of the past.

The dragon altar used to be a place with an incredible structure in every way, with awesome power and elegance. Located in the middle of a lush forest and surrounded by tall trees, this altar is a very sacred place and respected by the people who live around it.

The center of attention of the dragon altar were towering dragon statues. This dragon statue is placed in the middle of the altar and is made of shiny white marble stone. Those dragons

it has a long and flexible body, with fine scales engraved with meticulous details. The dragon's eyes were sculpted so lifelikely, as if ready to fly into space. From the dragon's mouth, a stream of holy water flowed into a small marble pond below, giving it a harmonious and soothing feel.

Around the altar, there are beautiful ceremonial equipment. Bronze candles with dragon inlay neatly lined up, ready to be lit in religious ceremonies. Fragrant incense placed on a natural stone table gives a fragrant and mystical aroma around the altar. Gently decorated fresh flowers adorn this sacred place, adding color and life to an atmosphere filled with spirituality.

This dragon altar is also guarded by priests and followers dressed in clean and simple all-white clothes. They perform special prayers and rituals to honor the dragon as a supernatural being that symbolizes strength, wisdom, and protection.

The atmosphere around the dragon altar was a mixture of serenity and profound strength. It is a place considered to be a meeting point between the human world and the dragon world, where trust and wisdom are learned, and prayers are said to invoke protection and blessings. The dragon altar was a sacred place that exuded an aura of glory and a deep spiritual connection with the legendary being.

As soon as Faelan and the comrades ascended to the altar, all those projections disappeared.

The once magnificent dragon statue had been cracked and had mostly collapsed. The once beautiful and well-maintained ceremonial equipment was now falling apart and strewn around it. The once serene and sacred atmosphere had been replaced by a scene filled with destruction and sadness. The dragon altar is now only a remnant from a distant past.

“Fae, since you are the heir to dragon magic, then the most appropriate place to form your magic container is at this dragon altar. I used to, in the Darkwood Forest forest, create my magic container in just six months. And it was the fastest ever recorded” said Elysia.

“But isn't the flow of time here different?” ask Faelan.

“That's one of your advantages here, Fae. Now sit on a rock near the ruins of the dragon statue, and start meditating to form your magic container. You need to make it stable if you don't want your magic energy to explode and crush you” Elysia pointed at a stone slab filled with dust.

“Do you have any suggestions before I start?” ask Faelan.

“You must free yourself from worldly emotions. Usually the would-be magicians when forming their magic containers for the first time, they would be tested by their darkest pasts. To be considered worthy, you must let go and accept all your bitter past. And one more. When you meet a holy spirit, be honest about yourself!”

Faelan nodded and stepped forward.

“I'll keep an eye on it from here. If you have successfully communicated with the spirits, I will also do meditation to restore my energy. This altar is a great place to increase magic capacity. Remember Fae, be honest with yourself!”

Faelan nodded once more before climbing the stone slab.

Faelan sat cross-legged while putting both of her hands on her knees. With a steady breath, he closed his eyes and began his meditation.

A few moments later..

The large leaves on top of Elysia's head started to rustle violently. The wind blows very quickly, creating a gripping feel. Dark clouds swirled above the altar. Faelan's face showed a grimacing expression.

“Indeed what should happen?” Ask Rakko.

“There have been cases of a witch who failed to form her magic container because she could not make peace with her grudges. But... This atmosphere, like it was encompassed by the dense darkness energy”

Immediately, the black clouds above the altar produced dozens of lightning bolts that struck above the surface of the altar.

Elysia tried to advance. But a powerful bolt of lightning struck him.

“Be careful, pointed ears!!” Pekik Rakko's.

“Fae!! Wakeup!” shouted Elysia. “We have to save him, Rakko. If it continues this way, it could be that Fae's body will be destroyed because of two energies that repel each other”

Rakko and Elysia were now trying to reach Faelan once again. But, again, a powerful lightning strike blew them away.

Then a powerful wind blew away every black cloud that swirled over the altar. Along with the warm wind, the light that radiated upwards coming out from Faelan's body filled the forest. The long-dead flowers were now blooming again, the dead candles were also re-lit by themselves, and the scattered dragon statues began to fly and reassembled into their original position, 9 Complete dragon statues. Faelan's face now looked calm.

Elysia and Rakko looked no longer worried.

“Congratulations Fae. Grow stronger and save the world. I'm afraid I can't keep you company until the end” Elysia concocted while smiling proudly. I don't feel her tears flowing.

“Hey, taper” said Rakko, “Didn't you say that this altar is a good place to form a magic container?”

“Iya, why?” Elysia wiped her tears.

“Hmm.. Is it possible.. hmm.. if..” Rakko brought her two index fingers together as if she was being timid, “Am I also able to form my magic container here? After you finish, only I alone can not use magic”

“Can't! Only someone with dragon element could form his magic container here”

“But didn't you say earlier that you wanted to charge your magic here?”

“Since long ago, the Elves were a nation that dedicated their lives to serve the dragon tribe. So, my magic affinity matches perfectly with dragon” magic

“Basic cunning pointed ears. You cheated!” Shouted Rakko, furious.

“If you want to be angry, blame your ancestors who chose not to take part in the big war, they are busy muttering with mud. Basic primitive race!”

Rakko fell silent and felt ashamed of his ancestor. Even if he had not met Faelan, of course he would still be living a primitive life in the forest.

“Wait a minute!” Said Elysia suddenly, “It looks like there is one way”

“What?!” rakko's face suddenly cheerful. “Tell me how!”

“How is...”.
