"Have your discussions concluded?" ask Lady Elena to her daughter.

Emily had just come downstairs to have breakfast with her mother and David of course. The house that Emily and her mother lived in was a two-story wooden house. At the bottom there is one bedroom used by Mrs Elina, one family room, kitchen and bathroom. While on the second floor only one bedroom is quite spacious complete with a toilet in it and the room was used by Emily. Apart from being his bedroom, it is also his place to paint.

Emily's face looked wrinkled, a sign that the twenty-three-year-old was holding back. Surely upset to a stranger who was enjoying a piece of bread at the dinner table owned by his family.

Meanwhile, the person who upset Emily acted as if nothing had happened. David seemed to enjoy his breakfast. Even the man added another applying peanut butter to his bread.

"I hope no more intruders break into our house and have breakfast with us" Emily grumbled afterwards. The girl landed herself in one of the chairs directly opposite David. The source of his frustration that morning.

"You're right Mily, I hope there's no more intruders in your house" David chimed in on what Emily had said.

"If the intruder comes again you tell me, then I will make sure that I will beat it for you" David continued, inserting a large piece of bread into his mouth. Not only that, but David blinked one eye to make Emily even more upset.

"Can't you stop being such a bitch? You're making me lose my appetite."

"Well, Mily, why do you always fight?" prevent Lady Elena mediating the debate between her daughter as well as David.

"Enjoy your breakfast." Lady Elena put down a piece of bread that had been smeared with blueberry jam. Emily's favorite jam.

"Hmmmm. at least the taste of blueberry jam is enough to make my mood improve again." The girl enjoyed her breakfast and did not care about David. So is Miss Elena. While David has gulped down the juice in his hand.

"You don't want to take a walk with me enjoying spring" David asked Emily.

"I have to work" replied Emily as she chewed the bread in her mouth. The girl works at one of the cafes in their town. The cafe is located one kilo meter from the house of Emily and David. Every day Emily chose to use a bicycle as a means of transportation for her to work.

"Isn't today your schedule working in the afternoon" David interrupted Emily's refusal. The man was quite familiar with Emily's schedule. Part of the time David spent with the girl.

"Come Mily.... I'm going back to work out of town and we'll meet one month later" David said, hoping Emily would accept his invitation.

David chose to continue his education at one of the universities in the city of Bern. After his education was completed the man also chose to work in the city. But when the holidays arrive, David chooses to return to his hometown. Enjoy the beauty of the village of Murren which never seems to make him bored. Especially there is his family and his best friend Emily.

Another case with Emily who chose to stay in the village where they live and continue her hobby of painting. Every now and then the girl went to town to deliver her paintings to anyone who bought them. Emily showed off her paintings through the girl's social media. Not infrequently David helped his best friend.

Even though they always fight, the two still love each other and help each other.

"Come on Mily, come on..."

Emily looked lazily at David who was putting on a face pleading with her. They spend time together every time David comes home.

"Yes, and shut up because I want to enjoy my breakfast in peace."

David followed what his best friend said. The man hinted at tightly locking his mouth using the movements of his hands.

Madam Elena just smiled looking at the manner of the two.

David and Emily ride their bikes. They both enjoyed the first day of spring. Although the air still feels cool, it does not make both of them worried. But so both Emily and David are seen still wearing their warm clothes. Moreover, the location where they live is at an altitude and flanked by several mountains. The atmosphere of the village where they lived was so calm and beautiful.

"Defeat me Mily if you can," ridiculed David who began to pedal his bike faster.

Not staying silent with David's challenge, Emily also went after David who had left him a few meters away. "Take care of you."

Both of them acted like children who were racing bicycles. It didn't take long, Emily managed to balance their speed.

"You think I'm gonna lose to you. I won't let it go again."

The girl's bicycle continued to go fast. Next minute..... Bruckkk.... Emily fell off her bike because she could not brake her bike when she saw a stone blocking her way.

"Awwwww.." the girl grimaced in pain. His bike hit his foot. Also the girl's palm was spitting out a bit of blood. Not a serious injury, but to make Emily cry. What made the girl cry was not because of her minor injuries, but because the girl failed to defeat David.

"You okay?" ask David. The men did not continue their bicycle race. The man sat on his knees before the crying Emily. David lifted the bicycle that pressed the foot of the girl before him.

"You should be careful. Look, now you're hurt." David helps Emily to stand up.

"I can stand alone."

Rejection from Emily made David smile at the girl. Emily is always a stubborn Emily in any situation.

Slowly Emily stood on her own feet. Although he was grimacing in pain, but in fact the girl was still able to stand and walk.

"Looks like you're okay." David was relieved that his best friend was able to walk well. Emily leaves David alone in her place. The girl also left her bicycle.

David follows Emily and walks together.

"Why don't you take your bike," asked Emily to see David walking without his bike. The girl also wiped away the remaining tears. It was a cry from her pity.

"You didn't bring your bike either" David said.

"I don't like my bike anymore" the girl grumbled. For him the main cause of his failure to beat David was because of the fault of his bike, not because of his own mistakes.

The next minute David had squatted in front of Emily. The man turned his back on Emily. Which means David offers his back to hold his friend who just fell.

"Relove... I'm sure you won't be able to walk all the way to our house" David asked sincerely.

"You're mocking me?" ask Emily, upset. Even though the girl knew that David offered it very sincerely.

David just smiled at the girl's accusation. "Come on, I want us to be there soon. I'm begging you to accept my offer, "persuade the man again.

"alright. But remember this is your will not I'm asking."

"Mmmmm...."

"And one more..."

"What's more Mily." cut David because Emily didn't go up to his back.

"Don't tell me I'm heavy" Emily squinted her eyes. This is a serious warning from the girl.

"OK. okay, never will" said David while holding back laughter because of the behavior of his best friend.

Emily went up to David's back. The two walked down the road to their home. Their journey accompanied a light conversation about their lives now, also about their childhood.

"So why are you crying?"

"I'm just upset that I didn't manage to beat you" Emily replied honestly.

"Hahaha.." david just laughed crisply at the confession of the girl who was on his back. "You must have missed me so much when I was away from you."

The girl did not respond at all and shifted their conversation topic. That's how the two spend time together.
