Fiber Term Jayabaya Sheikh Bakir and Literacy Class

For some Javanese, the Jayabaya Term is considered to have a special place. This “legendary” book is positioned as “handbook” to explore the future of life that is developing on the mainland of Java island. Mythologically, the existence of this book is often associated with the nuances of divination and divination about time. However, few Javanese read this book. Few people even know that this literary work has many versions.

Among the various Jayabaya Terminologies, one version speaks of Shaykh Subakir and his role in building human civilization on the island of Java. Therefore, the term Jayabaya Fiber is often called “Jangka Jayabaya Sheikh Bakir”. The chronicle is traditionally considered to be the work of Prince Adilangu, a poet from Kasunanan Kartasura. Even so, this work is considered a derivative work of other literary works from the previous period.

The term Jayabaya Sheikh Bakir yarn appears in the form of Tembang Macapat which consists of two stanzas, Tembang Sinom and tembang Pangkur. Tembang Sinom consists of 26 stanzas. While the song Pangkur Pupuh consists of 40 stanzas. Overall contents of Serat Term Jayabaya by Sheikh Bakir is different from other versions of Serat Term Jayabaya.

If in the books the term is often derived from the term Jayabaya version of Musarar, then it is customary to borrow the name of Sheikh Maulana Ngali Syamsujen as the teacher of Prabu Jayabaya to introduce the vision of the term. As a result, Serat Term Jayabaya Sheikh Bakir used the figure of Sheikh Subakir as a messenger of Sultan Rum, in this case the Sultan of the Ottoman Sultanate, trying to fill and civilize the island of Java which is still untouched.

This book tells about the meeting of Sheikh Subakir with two figures who are considered mystical Java, namely Semar and Togog. Both clowns of the puppet world then serve the orders of Sheikh Subakir who in this literary work is described as the bearer of a new destiny of God for the island of Java. After Shaykh Subakir returned to Rum, these two figures carried out their duties as well as enforcers of his teachings.

Back at the private school, in front of the school entrance were twelve children, including Wiji. In accordance with the requirements of Heru Cokro. Private schools should open literacy classes to teach Javanese Dwipa citizens to be literate, reading and critical in learning a knowledge.

This includes civil officials such as Joyonegoro, Jarwanto, Yosi, and so on. Even military officials such as the commander of the first squad Andika, the commander of the first cavalry squad Joko Kendil, the commander of the second squad Ghozi, the commander of the fourth squad Dudung and the commander of the fifth squad Agus Bhakti. These people are required to take literacy classes, as they are still illiterate.

To train them to be talented, Heru Cokro gave the death penalty. No matter how busy they were, these people had to study in private schools for half a day. At the same time, he also specifically told Mr. Hajar Dewantara to check their progress every day. If anyone does not qualify, must report to him immediately. He naturally had a way to deal with these lazy bastards.

At the opening ceremony of literacy class, Heru Cokro said: “Everything, you guys are very lucky. At this age, there is still a chance to get into school. Most of you come to Java Dwipa are native farmers. You all dream of being able to read. When you were young, entering private school was something you couldn't think of. Now, as an adult, you think that reading is no harm. Even if you don't know how to read, you're still living well. “

“I say firmly, you guys are wrong, this is a big mistake. You who come to Java Dwipa, you are no longer the same person as before. Among you, there are directors who manage the strategic resources of the region. There is also an army leader. What you do now and what you will do in the future, is much more important and more difficult than what you have done before. You came to Java Dwipa. Rights also mean responsibility. You are placed in an important position, not to enjoy their rights, but to carry out their responsibilities as well. Therefore, if you want to go further, you must solidify the foundation. Because illiterate people will be left behind.“

“So, please appreciate this opportunity. I tell you very clearly that this is only a small part of the area training program. In the future, there are more opportunities for improvement. At that time, hopefully we can still go hand in hand together.”

Seven people were sitting down, some people were listening to him, some people seemed to understand and understand. In the end, it depends on their own hard work.

After Heru Cokro finished his speech, the podium was given to Hajar Dewantara. An old master who has gone through years of incomprehension, passionate about learning and good at giving learning. Be patient with student questions as well as using a variety of different methods, adjusting student fit.

Heru Cokro has great respect for such educators, sitting in the back of the class with great interest and listening carefully to the first lesson of literacy classes.

This time, Laxmi worked with her four apprentices to sew 600 clothes. Don't just look at Laxmi's mischievous behavior, she is typical of people who are very serious, diligent and perfectionistic in sewing. He is serious about his work and has strict requirements to become his apprentice. In fact, Heru Cokro heard that the four apprentices when he met him, were like a mouse looking at a cat.

Heru Cokro had never imagined this brat to have such a personal side. Well, if you think further, in this world there is indeed no coincidental success. At this age, this Laxmi boy was already an advanced tailor. Talent is of course important, but his effort, dedication and love of tailor skills are what affect his success the most.

Sure enough, when Heru Cokro walked into the tailor shop, they all lowered their heads, busy sewing clothes on the workbench. He stood at the door for nearly ten minutes and still no one noticed. Seeing the appearance of Laxmi's serious work, Heru Cokro felt pity.

However, Heru Cokro had not prepared too well for him. Fear of this will be a scourge that makes its growth stop.

“Cough, Laxmi, are you not allowed to enter?” Heru Cokro deliberately mocked.

Laxmi looked up and said mischievously: “Hey, Bad brother. Didn't you see your cute little sister was busy? I work for you and you bother me instead, try saying once again, who here is the brash.”

Heru Cokro could only sigh, shifting the topic. “You yesterday told me that the leather armour is finished, I came here to pick it up.”

“the leather armour made this time is golden level, however big brother should thank me and give me a gift!”

“What? gold grade leather armor?” According to his prediction, silver-level leather armor was his limit, naturally he was already very satisfied. Unexpectedly, this time Laxmi really gave him a huge surprise.

“Aiihhhh, I don't believe in Laxmi! When did Laxmi ever lie! Is that as bad as laxmi?” Laxmi said, acting as a child who is being persecuted while taking black leather armour from the side, a pair of dark red boots and a pair of bracelets.

Heru Cokro felt helpless, took the leather armour in hand and looked at it closely. The leather armour is entirely black, with large pieces of leather sewn together, and consists of many layers. The joint between the leather is also well attached to the metal clasp.

The entire leather armour looks elegant and fierce without affecting its practical function. His overall design was perfectly suited to the taste of Heru Cokro, so he was very reluctant to take it off his hands.
