184 - Against the People of the Black Stream

The wind gushed like a sword darted very fast towards Waki who grew grinning, in the shock of his eyes disappearing and reappearing on one of the roofs.

A BAAM!

Amdara wind attack exploded when it came into contact with the wall of the house which was instantly charred. It was so loud, that it was heard by some.

Waki's speed disappeared making Elder Widya hold her breath. They'll have trouble fighting this one guy. Moreover, it seems that Waki is superior in terms of speed.

Amdara clenched his hands, his countenance getting colder. He darted along with Elder Widya, attacking blindly towards the opponent who also behind the attack no less big.

"Tsk. Be patient, haven't we talked for a long time?"

Waki dodged by twisting the body very quickly. Even his speed could barely match Elder Widya's.

The creeping roots attempted to capture Waki's body, but again failed to make the Elder of the Sky Cloud Magic Academy grit his teeth in annoyance. He darted back, not caring about the ravings of the enemy who tried to outwit.

Amdara did not go to the fight. He was silent while thinking about something.

Waki's comrades suddenly just shouted in pain. They looked towards the bottom, where their feet were bound by ice chains that were out of nowhere. Their eyes bulged for a moment, the pain crept more and more into the body. Not only was the ice cold, but their bodies felt like they were burning something.

That heartbreaking shout made Waki, and Elder Widya turned her head for a moment. Both of them were surprised to see the legs of Waki's colleagues who had started to freeze without being able to give a fight even though they tried to melt it using force but did not succeed at all.

"Ice chains? How could you be so off guard! To the point of not being able to feel the attack?!"

Waki stopped the attack for a moment to look at his comrades who were still groaning in pain. Even the ice had already crept to the waist.
