Chapter 39: The Lice of Life.

What made you come here, boy?” asked Fairuz gently.

“Ingin horseback riding” with enthusiasm Subha replied.

Though Ead was about to answer, even his mouth had opened but Subha's voice interrupted his words. Ead was astonished by his wife's wishes. Actually want to ride a horse or pick up baby Mia?.

Subha's head looked up at her husband's face, and sparkling eyes were created. “Horse horse first ya”

“No riding horse. We came here to pick up a baby mare that I took a few weeks ago, then came back home.” said Ead refused, even his eyes diverted from Subha's face so as not to see his wife.

But Subha immediately looked at the field, choosing the horse to ride. “Yang is there Sir..” Subha pointed to a large gallant stallion. “I'll ride it”

Ead turned to the direction where the woman was pointing. Yes indeed, the horse that Subha meant looked fierce and dashing, but Ead was lazy today. While Fairuz was approaching soon, wanting to see the horse that Subha was referring to.

Subha gulped down her rough saliva and her eyes blinked in fear. He realized that there was Mia waiting at home. Somehow he has become selfish lately and his desires must be obeyed immediately.

“Both!. That's only one option” Subha replied by showing her index finger, making Ead anxious to squeeze the woman's face, especially those sparkling blue eyes as if hypnotizing her.

Their bid was witnessed by a thick-bearded man who had long awaited their decision. He seemed happy when he saw the interaction between the two.

Subha exposes her index finger to Ead's face, begging for silence to give him a chance to ride a horse. Riding a horse is her favorite thing.

They look adorable by encouraging each other to interrupt their friends. That made Subha who had looked glum now back excited again.

"Ow very sweet" Subha approached and they immediately moved away.

Ead pulls Subha's arm away, keeping watch if they get distracted later and can hurt his wife. Although he was upset, Subha's safety was still number one.

"The horse you brought, I left it to another horse. Thank God the day after you brought the mother, another horse gave birth"

"Alhamdulillah, Mr. Fairuz. The miracle of God comes at an unexpected time... The child lost its mother, and God immediately gave its successor" Subha said in several words.

"Amin" replied Subha scooping her face gently, replying to Fairuz's prayer to her.

Meanwhile, a man who had been gripping with heavy thoughts felt impatient. The man was holding something he couldn't get out of here, and the only way home.

"Remove, and go home soon. I'll have a meeting with a businessman in Astana in 1 hour" Ead said expressionlessly. Both hands are folded in front of the chest.

Subha snorted in annoyance. She had resigned if her husband would decide all his wishes. It was enough he persuaded, and in the end he had to accept.

"I'll take it straight away, son?"

"Yes"

Ead answered briefly and then took Subha's hand out of Fairuz's place.

Some time Ead slowly forward the car he was driving. The car started out of the ranch until it shot across the city road.

After Ead's rejection, Subha doesn't talk to her husband. I don't know, even Ead is just focused on his work. He only focused on watching the quiet streets. The road they pass through is barren hills until Ead will easily notice the situation through various directions.

Ead's eyes were wildly watching the situation behind him through the rearview mirror. The palm of the right hand scooped up to the thin hairy chin, while the left hand controlled the steering wheel to speed up the engine of his car.

The car they were driving finally darted faster, making Subha who felt the difference in how to drive Ead began to feel frightened.

"Can you reduce the speed? I'm scared"

Ead did not listen to his wife's fear and stepped on the gas, increasing the car's speed above average. Maybe if their car runs on traffic orderly streets, then it is certain they will get a ticket.
