The Love of the Mafia

The Love of the Mafia
Chapter 28: Muslim Dress.

"Ead there's information for you" said Roy trying to get in front of the man he called his master. However, Ead did not speak at all from the mouth of his subordinates.

"Ead"

"Don't you see me having breakfast? Do I need to open your eyes wide, so that you can clearly see us"

Roy gulped his saliva rough, horrified by the words and horrible eyes of the man sitting at the dinner table.

"Louis, take Roy away"

"Ead" jolts Roy as his arm is pulled by Louis.

"Maybe he carries important information" interrupted Subha who had been a bit awkward to see the interaction was not wearing from the three men in front of him.

"Nothing mattered when the man said it"

"Aw, you're hurting my heart Ead... How could you say all this?" Roy said softly and his hands touched his chest.

Ead only grimaced at Roy's ludicrous response upset by the injustice Ead had given him.

"Look at you..." Roy grumbled and stopped one leg and left.

While Louis bowed his head at a glance then followed Roy from behind.

Ead sighed in frustration and his shirt sleeve buckled up to his elbow, preparing to eat his breakfast.

"Why do you eat a little?"

"I... Not so hungry"

"This is why you got tired so quickly. Let's eat a lot, I don't want you to pass out first"

"Astaghfirullah"

Subha heard Ead's shameful return, even putting herself to shame as the servants held smiles from behind their flat faces.

"You can't say that in front of a lot of people, let alone it's a family disgrace"

"It's true... You're eating less, and look at your body, you look a little thin"

Subha held her stomach and right arm, making sure that Ead's words were all untrue. But Subha does have a thin body.

Compared to the servants, Subha's body was nothing. The servants had nice bodies as well as the clothes they were wearing like they were showing off their belongings.

Subha gulped sadly at the good-bodied waiter who was serving breakfast on Ead's plate.

"I'm too skinny, right?"

"Yes" replied Ead without seeing Subha's whereabouts. He was just busy cutting the meat on the plate with a knife.

Of course it made Subha aware, her head nodded in acceptance. Single-minded. "Compared to who I used to be, if with the waiter in your mansion of course I'm nothing"

Instantly Ead stopped his breakfast in the morning, feeling a bit awkward with the words of Subha who seemed to be insinuating. It also made the waiter aware and chose to retreat slowly.

Ead looked at Subha and then turned towards the servant who was still standing with his head lowered. This waiter does look more seductive than Subha.

"No need to gain weight... I like it, and your pi-pips are too cabi. Everything looks perfect" said Ead stammering afraid of wrong speech that makes Subha more sad.

Subha was not angry. She was only slightly disappointed by the words that came from her husband's mind. Silence is the main weapon when anger strikes.

"Hem... What do you want? I'll grant you all your wishes"

Ead tries to seduce Subha to return to her normal state. Subha did not show it, but Subha's silence must be nothing.

Subha was silent, thinking about the thing that became her wish. "Can I buy new clothes for the workers here?"

"Of course I can. What money do you need, 100 JT, 200 JT, 300, 400?"

Tell me how much is needed, Ead has prepared various cards in his wallet.

"I don't know how much I need. Come with me and shop together. You'll know later"

Ead stopped counting the cards in the wallet. Questioning the meaning of what Subha said.

"Why should I come? It's just clothes shopping"

"Yes... But I also want to choose you clothes"

Ead's head nodded happily. He knew the meaning of his wife's invitation to go shopping.

Meanwhile, the workers who are in the dining room or not, they are all happy when their superiors will soon buy new clothes for them.

"Then just now"

"To the Ferdan market huh?"

"As far as you are" replied Ead enthusiastically received all subha's calls until both of them excitedly came out of the mansion. No breakfast first.

Subha is still seen stepping both feet slowly. He wants to cover up the pain in any way, because it can create bad thoughts in everyone who sees.

_____

Ferdan Market.

The roar of people passed filled every seller who was on the side of the road. Lots of residents stormed the sellers such as accessories, food, snacks, and clothing.

The Ferdan Market is the largest market in the country. Along the way will only be filled with street vendors, so residents who own cars are asked to turn around.

Too cramped and stuffy, making a visiting man feel frustrated almost out of breath.

Ead's body was in a collision with the citizens who were pushing each other to find a way. Of course Ead could not stay still when he saw Subha squeezed like that, he immediately extended his hand to Subha's shoulder, giving distance between Subha and the citizens.

"Subha, too many... Where's the chopstick again..what if there's a noel-noel?"

"Noel how?" Subha turned her head for a moment then refocused on the road.

"Noel gini loh..." Ead practices it by menoel Subha's niqab-covered chin, instead of a bit of flirting.

"And I brought my husband. Who would dare to be with you? Moreover, the man is scary" said Subha in a soft tone in the last sentence, and Ead did not hear.

"How are you going to buy clothes in a cramped place like this?"

"We're just passing by" replied Subha raising her tone for Ead to hear, as the roar of people increasingly filled their hearing.

Till...

Eventually Subha and Ead entered a shop full of the clothes and accessories that ordinary Kazhakstan people wear, such as turban and others.

Every store certainly does not escape from buyers and sellers. But this store is not so full of buyers that Subha and Ead can freely sort clothes as needed.

"What kind of clothes are you looking for?"

"Muslim clothing for both men and women. For you and the workers"

Subha's speech made Ead's head immediately turned to see Subha who was busy rummaging through the hanger containing a white robe.

"For me, why would I wear such clothes?"

"For praying. You don't have clothes to accompany your routine when praying 5 times"

Ead frowned. He had absolutely no interest in wearing such elaborate clothing.

"I don't have to wear clothes like that. My job is not just for prayer"

"But prayer is important"

Whatever, Ead doesn't care about it. Ead's heart is not yet fully bound to the new beliefs he follows. He only made his relationship with Subha seem legitimate in the eyes of religion.

...To be continued...

...May you always be healthy......
