Chapter 7. Hiding out...

After a brief chat with Kinara in the room, the two continued by taking turns cleaning themselves in the bathroom.

And now both of them are preparing to go down, because time has entered the dinner hour.

"I'm weird not wearing this shirt?" gazbiyya asked Kinara

"Good sister, more sexy" he replied with a seductive smile

Gazbiyya had to borrow clothes from Claretta because she did not bring a change of clothes. He had wanted to borrow Kinara's clothes, but with his higher and full posture, Kinara's clothes certainly did not fit for him.

And incidentally, her posture and Claretta's were pretty much the same.

"But I'm a little uncomfortable, Nara. I think the chest cut's too low"

"Sister" said Kinara to Allgar, just to make small talk

"Biyya, we'll take a seat. You can sit in my chair"

Eventually the two men took seats, and they all went back to eating as if nothing had happened.

But the gaze of Allgar occasionally glanced sharply at his members who previously sat beside Gazbiyya.

Although the distance to Gazbiyya was quite far, but Allgar knew that the girl had been uncomfortable in her seat. So Allgar told him to move.

Then the dinner was over, one by one began to leave the dining room with Allgar who started it.

They all spread out and headed for their respective destinations.

Gazbiyya replied with a headband as well as a smile. The three women headed to the same room when she first came here.

Then Gazbiyya suddenly remembered something when her eyes saw Kevlar talking to someone on the phone.

It's night now, and she just remembered that she hasn't contacted Ezra. Surely they are all worried about his whereabouts that never go home.

"Nara, accompany me to the top first yuk. I forgot to tell you, surely Ezra and the others are worried about me" Gazbiyya said uneasily

This afternoon when he was going to the City Park, Gazbiyya had deliberately turned off his phone.

Arriving in the room, Gazbiyya immediately searched for her phone which was in the bag. Upon finding it, he immediately reactivated it.

There were so many phone calls and messages from Ezra and the others. Seeing all this, Gazbiyya felt very guilty.

Without waiting for a long time, he immediately contacted Ezra back. On the second ring, his call instantly got an answer.

"Gazbiyya, will you go? How are you doing now? Why just activate the phone, I'm so worried about you. Where are you now?" as the questions rush straight out of Ezra's mouth, it seems that her best friend is really worried about her

And Gazbiyya unconsciously smiled, it turns out that she still means so much to Ezra. Since Freya's presence in their lives, Gazbiyya feels that Ezra has changed.

"One-one Ezra. Sorry for making you and the others worried, but my situation is now very good" he replied with a faithful smile on his lips

"Thank God then. Where are you now, Biyya? Let me get you now"

Gazbiyya recalled Claretta's remark earlier this afternoon in the car, telling her she couldn't divulge her whereabouts to anyone. Because THE IMMORTAL rarely had contact with outsiders, therefore they hid this place.

"Gazbiyya? hello, you're still there, right?" Ezra called back to him when Gazbiyya was silent

"Eh yes, Zra. I'm now in a friend's house, a place far away from the city. So you don't have to pick her up, I plan to go home tomorrow" Gazbiyya had to lie to her best friend, because she promised Claretta.

"Friends? Wh who? Do I know him too?"

"New friends really, they are the younger siblings in school. Coincidentally yesterday I just met again with them, and all I want to stay over"

"Women or men? Then you said the house was far away. Is the house in the village?" now Ezra is like a detective who is interrogating his victims

And Gazbiyya happily answered all the questions from Ezra, despite the fact that she was lying to the man.

After that, a heavy breath sounded from there,

"Biyya, I want to tell you something important. It's about Kendrick" his shirt for a moment

"Kendrick was really desperate to get you, this afternoon we had a chance to meet and finally we got into a fight. Your current existence is really threatened, while you have to hide. Is your friend's place really safe? Can you make it a hiding place?" ezra continued in a desperate tone

Why would a guy named Kendrick have to go after him?

Gazbiyya was still silent, making Ezra who was far away there worried. Ezra did not intend to throw Gazbiyya away by forbidding the girl to go home.

"All right, I'm gonna hide. I'll wait for you Zra" to break up in the end, though,

"Then you have to be careful while there, take care of your health. Don't eat late and get enough rest, let's just say you're on vacation at a friend's house" Ezra said before their call ended

As for Gazbiyya, the girl grasped her phone with an uncouth feeling. He felt lonely, even though he had such a good Kinara. And also the residents of the Mansion who were friendly to him.

But it still feels foreign, because the place is not here. And also, will they allow him to stay here with an uncertain time.

Because neither Ezra nor himself knew when Kendrick would stop bothering him.
