The Dragon

Unlike what I expected, the scream came from a dragon flying around the school sky. I don't have any ideas at all to respond to this one. Wait, dragon!?

"Not wrong anymore. Only a dragon like him could produce a sound this loud." Artex.

"Huh? The dragon? Do dragons live in this world?" my many.

"Why indeed? Isn't there a dragon in your home world?" his reply.

"In my world dragons are just a myth for millennials. But for some people, they have faith in dragons. There is even a country that makes dragons as great creatures."

"So yes, perhaps because of the differences of the times we can see the differences of each of our worlds."

"Then, what do we want now?"

"Can you make a device to help us get there?"

"Unfortunately I can't. What do you want up there?"

"Dragon scales are priced very expensively. Therefore I intend to kill him and as much as possible I will take all the parts that I can take and sell."

Thinking about making money, I thought of something. "If it's just for the money, why don't you ask me to make gold and sell it?" my many.

"I understand your good intentions. But if we want to sell gold officially, we have to have permission to mine." The answer. "Then, we are still children and have not been allowed to sell gold. Usually, underage workers always leave their goods to adults. As for us, we are just two kids who are still in school."

"But not before have we ever sold a lump of gold to the potion seller you bought? How about we just sell it to him?"

After the last sentence of the Artex, came the sound of sirens and the cry of someone from a distance. "The two of you quickly evacuate to safety!" there were five soldiers wearing armor. "It's dangerous to be here. There's a huge dragon that could threaten your lives, get the hell out of here." Speak the middle soldier.

We could only obey him and then enter the building again. But instead of going through the door, Artex turned and looked for a place to hide. I followed him out of curiosity.

"What are you doing?" my many.

"I told you I was after the dragon's scales. I won't let them catch him first."

I just want to and don't protest. We were caught in the commotion. People were running around looking for a safe place while the dragon was spouting flames towards the roof of the building. He gushed at only one building and did not target another, probably for some reason.

Suddenly Artex stopped his steps. "We can't perform like this. Those people will realize right away if they see us dressed like this. Make us the exact same armor as them. If you can with a very light load." Her speech.

"Huh? What does their armour look like?" my many.

"Don't you just see it for yourself?"

"Well, I'm not focused on what she's wearing. What do I remember it for anyway."

"Dam. Then we'll just wait for them to show up again. We just move ahead." Then we moved again towards the building that Artex meant.

After arriving, we immediately waited for the arrival of the previous troops. Not long after, they finally appeared with weapons—swords, bows, shields, and spears in their hands.

I quickly made the armor like them. But I was confused as to what material to use if I wanted to make it light. That way, I think to use plastic material alone considering its light weight.

But Artex was shocked. "Wait, wait, wait! Where did the dragon just go!?" saith.

I looked at him and asked, "Huh? Why?"

"Suddenly the dragon disappeared without a trace. Even before those troops came, the dragon had already disappeared."

"Then how?"

"We just move forward."

"Yes, then." I showed her the clothes she asked for. "The spirit is already so."

"Now is not the time for that, you fool! The problem is already critical. No time to sneak in anymore. I'm afraid his dragon was caught first by someone else before we caught him."

I just kept quiet and obeyed. We moved forward again and found a person wearing a robe that covered his entire body, even his head was also covered by his hood.

"Hey! Did you see the dragon that was spouting fire just now?" artex.

But the man ignored Artex's words and ran away in fear.

"Damn it! I thought you must be the culprit!" artex. Then he asked me for a dagger and chased after him.

Artex caught up with him and then he kicked his back down. "Hurry and tell me where you're hiding the dragon!" he said while beating up that guy.

Now Artex is trying to get up after hitting the wall hard enough. "So that's your true form. I understand why you didn't answer my question just now." Her speech. "I've always been looking for information about Siruman, and it's magical that I've met one of them at this time." He stood staggering because of the wound.

"God! A shiruman? What if I was one of them!? Are you going to arrest me and sell me!?" yell that guy. Her voice sounded like a girl but her heavy voice made me unsure.

"Frightly so." Artex Sahut.

"Then arrest me if you can!"

Then the two of them ran towards each other while raising their hands. Artex tried to slash his opponent with his dagger but his attack could be easily restrained by that person. Instantly his hand turned into a reptile-like leg and then gripped the blade of his dagger until it was destroyed.

Artex fell down and his stomach was kicked by the mysterious man and pushed back towards me. Then Artex stretched out his hand to me and said "Make me a sword!"

Without a second thought I made a katana and gave it.

"—and the little ones too." Artex.

Both requests I granted. He drank the potion he brought and rushed to him again. Instead of learning from his mistakes, Artex did the same. But the next one is not like the previous one. His katana was able to slash the reptile's two fingers. Of course this is thanks to my katana which I have coated with minerals harder than iron.

The reptile was screaming hysterically in pain. "Why—why did you cut off my beautiful finger!?"

This time Artex swung his katana, but strangely the reptile could fend him off. All the attacks that Artex threw could be repelled by him. Until finally the movement of the reptile faster and managed to claw the shoulder Artex.

Artex who was hit by the attack decided to retreat and prepare for the next attack. He threw his katana and ran towards her. He seemed to pull out something behind his clothes that turned out to be a dagger hidden by him.

Artex was about to stab towards the reptile's stomach but was immediately hit by a massive attack on his head that made him flat. Apparently the katana he threw was successfully repelled which unfortunately was unable to slash the reptile's left hand.

The man pulled out his katana and approached Artex and stabbed him in the back. Then he looked at me and walked over here. Slowly the road became faster until he ran.

Obviously I'm not staying silent. He wanted to say that, but I just kept quiet waiting for his arrival. As I got closer, I made a big hammer to hit him. With a sharp look I raised the big hammer.

But before hitting him, he suddenly fell to the side. It was none other than Artex who kicked him hard. Apparently he was just pretending to be dead after being stabbed.

We approached him, then Artex put his katana on and threatened him. "Give up, or I'll completely finish you off!"

This time the person did not resist and just fell silent. His hands were back to normal again. Instantly he cried loudly. "Let's! Why is it like this?! I came here looking for food!" apparently this guy was a girl who was hungry.

But Artex never once was gentle with him. He was still pointing his gun at the girl. "Don't whine! I know you're setting up a sneaky trick to attack us. You better give up and follow my words!"

This girl is still crying. "Please forgive me! I'm just starving and don't know what else to do!"

"It's good that you understand." Artex. Then he took a piece of the girl's finger and gave it to her. Then he slashed his palm and put back both of the girl's fingers and dripped his blood on the girl's wound.

Slowly his finger began to reconnect and made the girl calm down again. "Why are you doing this?"

"Don't I tell you from the beginning? I just want to catch you and sell you." replied Artex.

Suddenly the girl was frightened to hear Artex's explanation and made her stay away from Artex.

"Just calm. I won't sell you whole. If only you'd given me some of your scales, I'd consider it."

After Artex's words, the girl was finally tame towards him.

"Ka—if about that. I can't grant it." Say the girl.

"Why?" ask Artex.

"To take my scales, I must first change to my true form and at the moment I run out of energy to change."

"Then the story goes, maybe I should sell you whole."

"Tu—wait a minute!" he took something from behind him that turned out to be his own tail. "If you want, just cut my tail instead."

Without further ado Artex agreed. He gave the bottle of the potion for the girl to drink. After drinking, Artex cut the tail.

"I think this is enough." Artex.

"Eh? you don't want to take more?"

"Of course not. I will instantly become famous and become a target for bandits if I sell dragon tails larger than this."

Hearing this, the girl smiled. Shortly after, the previous troops had just arrived and shouted, "Hey, you guys! This place is dangerous. Hurry to a safe place!"

After seeing them, I panicked and immediately made a wagon. "Quick get him in here! We won't have time to tell him to run." Panicked saying.

Not much to ask, Artex immediately lifted him into the wagon. In the meantime, I'm arranging the wagon so it can be driven. But after that, I felt like a rickshaw. Without thinking much more I immediately planted the gas and left this place.

In the middle of the journey Artex asked the girl's name and proved his name Nakigoto. But because Artex thought it was too complicated to say, he finally gave her the name Clara.
