The Forgotten Creator's

The Forgotten Creator's
Negotiations That Are Not So Clear

Seeing Artex raise my hand, I followed him for no reason.

"Answer! Who are you!" shouted the archer man who was following me.

"Orman," said someone in a heavy tone, "can you hand them over to me?"

"But teacher, they're intruders and could put your life at risk!" reply Orman the archer.

"Let's just calm, I know them. I won't let them hurt me one bit."

"Well, then. We're going to leave first. Take care, teacher!" Orman quickly went to follow his line that had gone first.

"So, what brought you here, Artex?" said the grandfather.

"Oh, no-no. I didn't come here, but I was here. You're the only ones who came here after receiving a signal from me. Well, even if it's a little late." Artex said offensively.

"Pardon us then, we're surprised to see the war threat signal you gave us. It takes time to prepare a number of soldiers, even though I can finish them off alone." The reply.

"Ahahaha..," Artex chuckled softly, "you're thinking too much. I haven't even seen your magic come out yet."

"Haha!" grandpa laughed too. "It's fine, too, where maybe this boyot's grandfather could fight a full army of armed men."

Then they laughed together. Their laughter sounded like it was forced.

"So," cut the grandfather, "is there some business you want to talk about?"

Artex replied, "Where might I have affairs with the master teachers at prestigious magic schools around the world."

"Ear this charade. Let's talk seriously."

Artex expression returns to the original. "alright. I wanted to review our conversation a year ago. About—"

"Oit— I understand you." Cut it. "But don't discuss it here, let's move to a more closed place."

Grandpa raised his hand facing forward. At once my gaze was glazed and after that we were both in a vacuum all white. Surprisingly I can put my feet in the air.

"Where are we?" I asked Artex.

"It looks like we're in Grandpa Elior's magic."

"meaning?" i'm astonished.

"I've seen him put something in a white hole. So maybe the place he put it in was here. Look around you, a lot of his stuff is scattered."

"Metuls too, even a set of tea drinking utensils are here as well." I took a plain white cup. I thought about decorating it. "Is it okay if I decorate this cup? The cup is plain like this anyway."

Artex glanced at his cup. "A good idea! I also thought about ruining his stuff."

"Good then." I made two brushes with brown acrylic paint.

We also started painting the cup.

...~Π~...

About ten minutes passed and we finished what we were doing. Artex drew a bunch of stools in his cup, while I drew a batik patterned with flowers.

"What picture are you?" ask Artex.

"Ah, this. I drew one of the cultural treasures of my country."

"Is that so? Good too, though I don't know what that means."

"Well, so do I."

Suddenly the light breaks down Artex's body from foot to head. So do I. I can't do anything and just expect safety.

After the light disappeared from my sight, I realized that we were in the room.

"Hahh.." Grandpa Elior sighed. "I was expecting to eat this much mana in humans."

"Who would want to put us in that white room." Artex.

"Actually I want to get you guys on the train, too. But I will be killed if I bring an intruder into the caravan." Elior

"Even though you're a school owner?" ask Artex.

"That's the law I created. So that none of my successors will do anything to my school."

"What kind of weird law did you invent? Even before you gave your successor ownership rights, maybe the school was destroyed first."

"Destroyed melted? Who would dare to attack this city? Even if there is, I will face them directly."

"Ahahaha..., what can you do at this age? Don't be so confident, Mother. It's supposed to be at a time like this you're in a nursing home."

"Wahahahaha.., you're doubting me too much. If I want to be able to eliminate you right now."

Artex was immediately stunned after hearing that. "If that, please don't. I still want to live longer." He said with a smile.

"Easy-go. I can't laugh too long, my jaw isn't holding it back." Elior folded his hands and showed a serious face. "So, how did you decide?"

"I accept your offer, as long as you accept one small plea."

"What's that?"

"Please put this friend of mine in your school. If you're not willing to accept it, then I'm not going to school."

"This guy?" Elior glanced at me, "His appearance isn't so convincing."

"Don't forget the saying don't judge a book by its cover. After all we've been farming, it's normal that we wear clothes like this." Artex.

"Ah, sorry-sorry. Maybe because I was senile so I forgot something so important. So, what's your reason I have to accept this child as well?"

"Well, maybe you won't be able to see the greatness of—I mean the usefulness of this guy if you don't accept it."

Wait, did he just put me down or what? my thinking.

"Then accept us as disciples and I will let you observe." Artex.

"Ahahaha, you're very good at reason. Maybe I'll study with you once in a while." Elior glanced at me once more. "By the way, what cup are you holding?"

"Gee!" surprised me. "This is just the cup in the white room."

"Huh? As I recall I never put a cup with such a motive."

"Then I painted it while I was waiting."

"Hm... So yeah. But if you look closer it looks beautiful also the painting. I've never seen anything like this. Where'd you learn that?"

"this painting? I learned it from my mother. Why why?"

"This work is amazing! It would be beautiful if I put it on display along the school hall."

"That's how, even my mother also often wears batik clothes every time there is a celebration."

"What is it?"

"What if you gave me the teaching on how to draw your painting, and I'm gonna get you into my school. I hope your work is famous throughout the country through the connections of my students."

"If it is, I can't do it."

"Hey! What do you mean, Den?! Why did you waste a chance once in your lifetime?!" artex.

"Easy, I don't have the authority to give the diversity of the culture I come from to others." My reply

"What's the problem?!"

"Batik has been recognized as the possession of my country."

Artex sat up straight again while putting on an annoyed face. "Damn!"

"Then" said Elior, "Give me your work only. I promise I won't give it to anyone else."

"Okay, agreed!" reply Artex as fast as lightning.

"Eh?!" aku terkejut mendengar jawaban sesuka Artex.

"Alright, from now on you have officially become students of the Zharan School. I'll call one of my servants to take you to your dorm."

"But before that, I want to go to my camp first to pick up my things."

"All right, let me. Come back here after you've taken your things."

We both stood up and left the room. But, "Wait a minute" said Artex. "How can we go outside if we're still dressed like this?"

"True, I brought you here. I'd better be in charge of that, too." Reply Elior. "Wait a minute."

The white light again decomposed our bodies and ushered us into an all-white room. We got tired of waiting for a few minutes.

...~Π~...

A few minutes passed and we finally came out of the white room. When we got out, we were already at the entrance of the city.

"Please wait a minute. I'll go back to my camp and get the things I need." Artex.

We walked away from Elior's chariot and went to Artex's house. After leaving Elior, Artex's expression returned to its cold beginnings.

"Hey, what's with your attitude? Why are you turning 180 degrees now?" my many.

"It was just a formality between me and her. I did it to lower his alertness while negotiating." Artex Reply.

...~Π~...

Upon arrival at the Artex house, we prepared all the necessary items, and I just prepared my jacket and bag.

"Oh yeah, why do you suddenly want to be a student? Is it because you want to find science?" my many.

"Your estimate is correct, but that's not the real reason." Answer Artex. "We are currently short of food. If you become a student there you will get free food, even a cleaner and more comfortable place to live. Not like in this shack."

"so yeah. What do you want to learn there?"

"Of course magic can help us to achieve our goals."

"Ooh! Smart that way too. Even today I have not thought of studying magic in this world."

"By the way, I was thinking about what happened before the battle." Artex. "I told you to come back here but you followed me. But have you kept all the equipment?"

I immediately panicked for a moment because I forgot the cerulit I brought. "Damn, I forgot the cerulite! I accidentally left it there. Wait a minute, I'll get the cerulit."

Artex. "Let me take it. I doubt you remember the way there."

"All right then. But bring a bike to make it faster."

Finally Artex went to the battlefield on the bicycle I made.

While he was away, I cleaned up the whole house to be tidy when Artex came home. Soon, he came home with only a bicycle.

"How's the cerulite?" my many.

"I've returned it." Answer Artex. "Have you cleaned up all your equipment?"

"You remember, I only had a jacket and a bag of books. So I cleaned up your entire house."

"When you don't have to clean up, it's okay. This place will soon be abandoned." Artex with a sad face took his backpack. "We leave now if nothing else is needed."

...~Π~...

On arrival at the gate, "Alright, we're ready. Take us to your pride school." Artex.

Inside the carriage the three of us just sat sweetly without speaking a word. I could only see the crowd outside the window passing by. After the train stopped for a few seconds, crowds of people were no longer visible in the windows. Well, I don't really mind it either.

...~Π~...

Arriving in front of the school gate, Artex and I got off the train.

"Deploy the rest to my servants. Make sure you follow his directions. Keep trying to make myself accept you at my school." Elior.

"Yes, thank you." My reply. "Oh yeah, the stuff you asked for I put in your room with the pot."

"Goodoo. I'm so grateful to you."

The train that Grandpa Elior was riding took off. "Please follow me." Said a woman who was allegedly Elior's servant.

We followed him to a large building. Maybe this building is the dormitory that Elior was referring to. We continued to follow the servant and ended up at the door of number 199.

"Please, this is the room that has been reserved for the two of you." Maid

"Thank you." Artex. He opened the door and saw a large room.

"Please adapt first to the room. If you need anything, just press the bell button on top of the closet."

"Oh, yeah. You may, I want to know what your name is. It would be easier to call you if I knew your name."

The waiter was silent for a moment. "My name is Miralia. Just call Lia."

"All right then. Thanks for the instructions, Miss Lia."

"Please don't add the word Miss in front of my name. I don't feel comfortable being called that"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I've been humbling too often at good people. This time I'll remember what you said"

"Thank you for your attention. Then I leave. There's still a lot of work to do." Lia also left in front of us.

Artex looked relieved after Lia left us both. He approached the bed and lay on it. "One of our needs has been obtained, and now we just have to wait for tomorrow. What other misfortune will come upon us next."
