The Forgotten Creator's

The Forgotten Creator's
Could it be a clue?

We were bored waiting. When viewed from the position of the sun, it is about twelve o'clock now. I've read a few pages of books I brought but still the boredom never goes away. "Hey, Artex. Don't you have any more needs in this town? It's boring waiting all day here."

"No. I just want to buy potions in this town."

"What do we do better."

"I don't know. Maybe I'll go to the library to get some information."

"Good idea. I also want to continue with the book that was yesterday."

Finally we went to the library I had visited before. Before getting there, it was seen that the situation of the city was already crowded. Not like yesterday when I came in the afternoon. Right in front of the inn that Virie stopped at yesterday, Artex stopped my movements.

"We'd better stop by here first. I know you haven't eaten in the morning, neither have I." Artex.

I just follow him. "All right."

We sat in the corner seat. Here the temperature is quite hot because there is no cooling device at all. Fan or AC. Well, this is because the technology that is here is still not as modern on earth.

"What do you want to order?" ask Artex. "Let me go to the cashier."

"I'll order rice."

"What's the side dish?"

"Just meat."

"All right, kare ya."

"Oh, no. I mean fried meat."

Artex was immediately stunned after hearing my words. "Be— do you really want to eat meat with rice?" said stiff.

"Why indeed?"

"Only a freak eats meat with rice!"

"Hey, hey.... Don't say that. Eating portions like this are very hard selling in my home region. If you don't know, you're not satisfied with eating chicken without rice."

"You're a really weird person."

Finally Artex went to the cashier. He ordered the food we ordered. But in the moments when he was not at the table, came two people in half-naked clothes.

"Hey, kid! Looks like you're waiting for someone. Can I accompany you?" said the bald man.

I have a bad prejudice about this guy. Judging from the looks of it was like a street thug. I guess I should just be pretty familiar with him.

"I'm waiting for my friend."

"Your friend.... Oh, I heard you came here yesterday and talked to the royal man. I don't know which kingdom I don't care about. But it seems you have a close relationship with him."

"Ah, that's just my acquaintance."

"Of course I know that. There's no way a hermit would want to talk to a rascal like us."

"There may also be a kingpin wanting to seek the attention of high people. They were ambushed and interrogated."

"Yes, yeah! So I'd like to offer you a bodyguard to keep you safe from their crimes."

"Supervisors? Don't bother. My job is already a bodyguard. What does a bodyguard need a bodyguard for?"

Now the bald man started to grow furious and pulled my jacket collar. "What do you want?! I'm trying so hard to be nice to you just to rob you! And you're making me mad!"

"That's right. In an age like this robbing still uses subtle means? Not like you're just describing yourself."

The person behind him was provoked and stepped forward and prepared a fist for me.

"Hey, hey! Wait up! I'm sorry about earlier." My speech

"God! You have to be threatened first you're scared."

"All right, well I understand. You want to rob me, right? Just take the money I have." I poked something in my jacket pocket. I made some gold coins similar to Artex's to give him. "More." I gave the coin to the bald guy. Not to forget the coin I was shaken by adding a thin thread so I could control it remotely.

"Hohoo. Turns out you're a submissive, too." Finally he took his grip off my jacket and received the money I gave him. He also did not realize that the money put in his pocket was related by the thread I made. "All our work here is done." He said to his partner. Then he left me with a thread hanging in his pocket.

After the distance was far enough away from me, I was immediately on standby waiting for him to arrive at the door. I extended the thread as he walked. When he was right in front of the exit, I turned the coin into a firecracker. Uh, how will it go?! thought spontaneous. I overcame it by turning the thread into a thin wick, and I also made a match in my hand. I quickly burned the wick and put it on the floor. Immediately I remove the match and act like a man out of his drive.

The wicks propagate so fast towards the firecrackers. It only took three seconds to produce an explosion. Duarr!! The firecracker exploded in the bald man's pocket.

He was shocked to feel pain and heat in his thighs. "Oi, who did this to me?!" his yell. Then he came back to me. "You must have done it!"

"Do what? I just stayed here." Plain speech.

"Who did it then?!"

"Yes don't know. Just ask the people around."

He glanced right left looking for the culprit. However, in the end he just left this place. It would be a shame if he asked everyone but did not find the culprit.

The Artex who had been watching me just showed his mouth smiling at me expressionlessly. He approached me with two dishes in both hands. "I'm surprised at your efforts to get back at it." Say Artex while putting the dish.

"Have not been discussed. I'll die if I get caught." I took my plate to eat the dish.

Artex was astonished to see the way I ate. "You're a complete departure from the strange boundary. How can you take rice only by hand."

I accelerated my chewing. "Weird how? I used to eat with my five fingers. Except for wet food, I just had a spoon."

"You are actually a descendant of mana. The way you eat and eat things is beyond reason."

"Handungs. Why why?"

"What kind of place is that? I've never heard of it at all."

"You don't need to know where that place is. You'll never find it even if I give you a map of the location."

Artex kept his mouth shut and finished his meal.

......~Π~......

After filling our tummies, we came out of the inn, or maybe better called a bar.

"Remind me to pay my debt."

"Not to think about it."

Then we moved to the library on the side. We also went inside. I saw Noah sleeping on his stool. It may have become a habit for him to fall asleep because of boredom. Then I glanced at the reader's desk and saw a girl reading a book. We sat at the table beside him.

"Borrow your book." Artex Sahut.

"Which book?"

"Whichever one. If you can, I'd like a translation too."

I also read the book by continuing my rifle book. I think I understand a little bit about the structure of that little gun. I forgot the name, but it seems similar to the word 'revive'. I better find it in a book.

After I searched the table of contents, it turned out his name was 'revolver'. Well, judging from the number of parts, this revolver is less than the normal pistol used by the police in most movies.

On the sidelines of my busy reading, I realized the girl at the side table kept glancing at me without any intention I knew. I purposely did not show her my suspicions so as not to look like I was intimidating her.

This time he decided to stand up and walk in front of me. "Excuse me, sorry to interrupt. But, can I sit here?"

"Ah, please-please." My answer.

"Thank you." He also sat in front of me. "If you can tell, what book are you reading?"

"Hm?" I lifted my book. "This book?"

"Yes, I was curious about that. I kept glancing at his writing but there was nothing I could understand."

"Oh, so so. Indeed, in this book there is no writing that you can understand."

"meaning?"

"The writing in this book is not written using sundanese script."

"Aksara sundanese? What'sthat?"

"The one this child is reading." I pointed at the paper that Artex was holding.

"Eh? This is Tsarasu's writing. Why do you call it sundanese?"

"Eh? Is not the name sundanese? This is the writing of the origin of the Sundanese tribe."

"Sundanese Tribe? I don't understand your words anymore."

I began to remember that the earth with this world is very different. So it is only natural that all related history is different. There may be something in common but it will not be completely the same. "Oh, forget it. Maybe my troubled memory is here."

"So who are you?" sahut Artex's.

"Ah, sorry. I'm Himara. An adventurer."

"An adventurer yes..." Artex looks doubtful "the mention I don't want to hear anymore."

"Hmm? Why?" my many.

"It's okay. I only had a bad past while serving as an adventurer."

"I'm sorry! I don't know." Himara.

"Everyone doesn't know what someone hates. So don't feel guilty."

I began to discuss the writing again to change the flow of the conversation. "Regarding the writing, what makes you curious?"

"Yes. If you look again, the writing in your book is much different from our writing. I wonder where you got that book from."

"If so, I'll take this book from my house. It is far away from this country. Almost all countries in my place use the same writing, but there are some countries that create other writing. But in my country there are also different writings in each region, and one of them has a similar writing to the book here."

"So in your place all the writing is like the one in your book? Then there's one area that has the same writing as ours?"

"Frightly so."

"Where are you from? I've never heard of such a history in all this time."

"Of course from Indonesia."

"Indonesian? Where's it? Never before has anyone found an island called Indonesia."

"Well, of course if you don't know him—"

"Wait!" Artex. "Don't tell me you came from another planet?!"

"Other planets? You could say so anyway. But more precisely it is said to be another world."

"Another world? So you're the witch's boy, aren't you?!"

"Not!" my firmness. "Who is the witch."

"Then, what was your purpose in coming here?"

Duh start again. I think I should talk back. "I don't want to tell a long story. So I concluded the story. First, my world was attacked by demons. Soon, the world is attacked by the same enemy. Virie came to me to work together to defeat the devil, and I agreed."

"Devil.... So they gave me this curse. All right, I get it."

"OK good." I looked back at Himara. "I'm sorry for having to listen to my babbling."

"Ti—it's okay. I also gained new insights into your writing and the origin of his coming here."

"Regarding the writing, is there anything else that makes you curious?"

"I think I've heard everything about his writing. Thank you for telling me."

"No need to ask."

"Oh, yes. I got information recently about an organization that worships demons. I hope this helps you."

"What is it?!" I am curious and excited too.

"Recently there was a witch who was arrested while running away in fear. When questioned, he said that his organization had changed course. It's all because of the devil."

"Yes-yes?!" I'm getting curious.

"At first their organization was determined to increase their strength by meditating and interacting with nature. But the devil came and taught an unusual method of gaining abundant power. All his comrades were tempted by that demonic whisper. But the witch ran away because she still wanted to have common sense and was also afraid to see the devil."

"You're saying he still wants to have common sense? So what has the devil done? Then what methods did the other witches use?" artex.

"I don't know. But when asked that, the witch immediately vomited and fainted."

"Well then," I said passionately, "let's find the organization and then we'll finish the demon."

"Don't directly conclude, Den." Artex. "We still don't know what this organization is doing. We just assume they're not safe for the people. Also we don't have enough information yet to know their location."

"If it's a location problem, I have a map. I just happened to get it from that witch."

"Wait!" Artex was suspicious. "Where did you get it?"

"Where from? I asked my brother to interrogate the witch. Maybe I'd better call it asking to impress more respect for him."

"so yeah. So can we see the map?"

"May be." Himara gave the map to Artex

Artex gladly accepted it. "Thank you."
