Ch 5: Killer

One year later after the death of the Cult Leader.

Inside the room, Yan Ran looked as if he was reading a hero storybook to the little Chun Yang.

While Yan Ran was reading the story, the little Chun Yang was contemplating a year that he had already passed.

"A year has passed since that day. After his departure that day, my father never again showed his face. Reportedly he's still at the border and hasn't returned yet."

"I don't know when my dad will be back. I hope he can come back soon. Because even though I didn't like her much because of her attitude that day, but it seems that my mother was very worried and missed her" thought the little Chun Yang in her mind while looking at her mother's face.

Just then suddenly a thunderous roar sounded in the sky. Outside the weather was cloudy as if it would soon rain.

"Will it rain tonight?" yan Ran thought in his mind.

Then time passed and night came.

Yan Ran who had already confirmed that the little Chun Yang had fallen asleep then left him alone in the room.

However, just after Yan Ran closed the door, the little Chun Yang who had not slept had opened his eyes.

"Huuffs.... It turns out being a baby is really exhausting!" chun Yang said after opening his eyes.

"Zero!"

"Yes, Master!"

"Right, it's been a year since I changed the name of System 001 to Zero to make it easier to mention. Zero, how? Do you like the name I gave you?" ask Chun Yang.

"Sorry sir, I can't answer the question you've given me. I'm in the program to have no emotions or feelings!" answer Zero.

"Yes, I know that. You always answer in the same sentence!" said Chun Yang.

Then outside, the rain finally fell as expected.

Shortly after the rain fell, Zero called out to Chun Yang.

"Master!" Call Zero to make Chun Yang have a question mark.

"What's wrong?"

"Just now, there was a group of people sneaking into the residence. They numbered ten people and each of them carried a weapon!" said Zero told Chun Yang.

"What?!" Chun Yang who heard that felt surprised.

Not long after, there was the sound of screaming and fighting from outside.

Outside were people dressed in black who were fighting and killing guards and servants.

"Sir, those people started killing the guards and servants. The current situation is really dangerous!" said Zero giving a warning to Chun Yang.

"What exactly is going on?" chun Yang said feeling uneasy.

Despite realizing that the situation was very dangerous, the infant Chun Yang could only stay on his small bed.

In the midst of such a dangerous situation, it was not long before Yan Ran came to the room and approached Chun Yang.

"My little er, thankfully you're fine!" said Yan Ran immediately hugging and holding the little Chun Yang.

On the other hand, three guards then caught up with Yan Ran and stood by the door.

"Madam, quickly get the prince out of here. The current situation is really very dangerous! The madam and the Prince had to flee immediately and save themselves!" said the Chief of Guard who was standing guard near the door.

"What about you guys?" yan Ran asked them.

"We're going to stay here to hold those people. We will try to buy time as long as possible for the Madam and the Prince. So the madam immediately take the prince and get out of here!" the guard said firmly.

Then without wasting any more time, Yan Ran immediately fled towards the forest while carrying the little Chun Yang in his arms.

But with the difference in number and strength between them, it is certain which side will lose.

The three guards were immediately cornered by the siege of the black-clothed men.

"Fuck! How dare you play a game! If you're a man, let's go one-on-one!" the chief of the guards told the killers.

"You're talking too much to the man who's about to die!" said one of the killers.

"Suckers! Even if I have to die, I won't let you go after the Madam and the Prince!" said the Chief of Guard.

"God! You really talk a lot! Kill her!"

Instantly from the back of an assassin directly pierced the Guardian Chief's back which pierced straight into his chest.

Shortly after that the death of the Chief Guard was then followed by the other two guards.

As soon as the three guards were defeated, the assassins then gathered to report to their chief.

"Chairman, all the eyewitnesses we've lost!" said one of the assassins reporting to his chairman.

"Great work! What about those two?" ask the Chief Killer.

"They fled into the woods!" answer the Killer.

"The forest? Then hurry up and chase them. Tonight those two people must die!" the Chairman said he gave the order.

After the order, the Killer Chief and the other assassins immediately chased after Yan Ran and Chun Yang who had fled towards the forest.

Meanwhile inside the forest looked Yan Ran who kept running while carrying Chun Yang.

After running far enough, the exhausted Yan Ran then stopped running and leaned against a tree.

With a gasping breath, Yan Ran immediately checked the condition of the little Chun Yang in his arms.

"Which er, are you cold? Forgive me for bringing you in this situation. I will definitely take you safely!" yan Ran said while wiping the rain water that soaked Chun Yang's face.

"I speak so, but I no longer have the ability to run. My leg was also injured by a wooden twig while running here. I hope those people don't chase up to this place!" said Yan Ran hoping in his mind.

Meanwhile on the other hand, within the forest appeared people dressed in black who were still looking for Yan Ran and Chun Yang.

"Damn! Because it was raining we found it difficult to trace the tracks of those two!" said the Chief Killer in his mind.

"You guys, quickly find the location where the two people are hiding!" said the Killing Chief gave orders to his subordinates.

Soon one of the Assassins found something and called the Chief.

"Chairman!" call the killer.

The chairman who heard that then immediately ran and approached the subordinate.

"Did you find anything?" ask the Chairman.

"I found traces of blood and a small piece of cloth. This fabric was exactly the same as the clothes cloth used by the woman. Most likely the woman was injured while on the run!" the killer replied.

Hearing the report, The Chief Killer then smiled widely.

"Great work! In the end the woman and her child were unable to escape death!" said the Chief Killer.

"Follow the blood trail and find them!" the Chief Killer gave the order.
