Chapter 74

This afternoon Leo went to the Fabrizio family home. Leo is aware that there are many things to be done. Leo has sent a message to Loveta. Although the message was not answered by Loveta, Leo was sure that his lover had read the message well.

When he arrived at the Fabrizio family home, Leo saw Papi Dathan's car parked. It means that Papi from Loveta has returned. Loveta's car also appeared parked in front of the house. Loveta is also home.

After parking his car, Leo decided to go in. The housekeeper invited Leo to wait in the living room.

Leo's feelings are really mixed. Fear and shame mixed together.

Papi Dathan and Mami Neta are out to meet Leo. No Loveta is following them. Leo, who realized that, felt that Loveta did not want to meet him. However, Leo understood why Loveta did not want to meet him.

“I'm here to apologize for what I've done to Lolo. I'm sorry I just came to apologize. I know I hurt Lolo. So I will shout out all the consequences of what I did.” Leo humbly apologized to the Fabrizio family.

Papi Dathan looked at his wife. “Good if you want to come yourself and admit mistakes.” He felt Leo was brave enough to come. Especially admitting his mistake. “You've done a bad thing that made Love hurt. So we can't allow you to continue the relationship to the marriage. We want your wedding plans cancelled.” Papi Dathan is straight to the point.

Leo had guessed it would be like this. The end of their relationship was the annulment of the marriage.

“I received this wedding cancellation, Om.” Leo accepted with a heavy heart because indeed he knew where his mistake was.

Loveta behind the wall heard Leo's reply. Her tears immediately dripped. Now the relationship is over. His long journey ended with betrayal.

“Can I meet Lolo?” ask Leo.

“Sorry Leo, Love told you I can't see you yet. He still needs time.” Mami Neta tried to explain.

Leo could not impose his will. He knew that his mistakes would be hard to forgive.

“It's okay, Auntie. Please send my apology to Lolo. Sorry if that disappointed him. I hope, Lolo can get a better man than me.” Letting go of Loveta is not easy for Leo. However, his mistake was unforgivable. So of course he would rather let go.

Loveta kept crying. For now he still does not want to meet and talk to Leo. His feelings are still a death. If she feels much calmer. Maybe he wouldn't mind meeting.

“Then I excuse you first.” Leo's saying goodbye.

Leo immediately left the Fabrizio family home. Although it hurts to release Loveta, Leo is relieved not to force Loveta to stay with him. Loveta deserves to be happy.

Leo will be home soon. He takes care of a lot of things all day. So he's quite exhausted.

Arriving home, Leo saw his mother who was just silent. He still feels devastated to lose his mother.

“Mama has eaten?” leo asked, sitting his body.

Bella shakes. He has no appetite.

Finding the mother unwilling to eat, Leo immediately took food for the mother.

“Come, Mama eat first.” Leo thrust a spoonful of food.

Bella was crying. “Why is our life like this? Is this karma for us?” Bella already knows if Leo went to cancel the wedding with Loveta. It made her feel like misfortune was coming to her family.

The unbearable Leo immediately put the plate on the table. Then hugged my mom.

“No karma, Ma. God wants us to fix ourselves. God wants us to try ourselves. No need to blame anyone for what happened. This is our destiny. Make all the lessons to walk forward again.” Sometimes adults are forced to. So does Leo. What happened made him realize. If what has been done so far is wrong.

“But, Mama can't.”  Bella still can't if people know the ascetic destroyed her family.

“We'll move, Ma. Starting a new life, without anyone we know. Leo will take care of Mom. We'll be happy later.” Leo convinced his mother.

Bella could only cry. Whatever the child's decision, he's coming along.

Although life will not be easy in the future, Leo will keep trying. Her mother needs her.
