The Charm of the Heir
Chapter 5

Liam came to the Smith family home again. This time he came early. Intentionally to meet with everyone. Including with Leo.

Unfortunately, arriving at the front gate, Liam was not allowed to enter. The security officer said Mr. Josep had ordered Liam to be barred from entering.

Liam chose to honk in front of the house. Of course it made the people inside the house confused.

Leo who was inside the house also heard the horn that was endlessly sounded. This made Leo curious.

“Who is it, Ma? Why honk non-stop.” Leo looked at his mother. Curious about the people out there.

“Nobody. Have breakfast.” Bella asks the child to sit in the dining room chair.

Unfortunately, Leo was curious. His mother seemed to be covering up what really happened. Feeling something is hidden, Leo chooses to get out.

“Leo, don't open the gate.” Bella panicked. She went into her room to tell her husband.

Outside the house was Liam who was sounding horns continuously. Of course that makes Leo furious. Early in the morning there was a commotion in his house.  

“Open, Sir.” Leo gave the order to the security guard.

“But, Mr. Josep asked me not to open the door on the person.” Security guard told Leo.

“I will be responsible. Open door!” Leo must know who is prohibited from entering.

Security officers opened the door immediately. Let Leo out.

Leo immediately came out of the house. Meet someone who is in the car.

Gts ... Gts ....

Leo tapped on the windshield for the man in the car to open the windshield. When the windshield opened, there was a young man inside. For a moment Leo saw that the man was the man who met his papa yesterday in the toilet.

Papa said he was his friend's son. Papa should've allowed him to come in. Looks like something's wrong.

Leo felt that something was strange. Because it is impossible for his father to evict guests who come.

“What do you need to come here and make a fuss early in the morning?” ask Leo.

“I won't make a fuss if papa doesn't ban me from entering.” Liam calmly replied.

Leo was getting confused. The young man in the car called out as ‘papa’. Of course the name was intended for his father.

“Who are you really?” Leo stared at the man who was still in the car.

Liam forgets that his half-sister doesn't know who he's been in love with. Liam got out of the car immediately. Then extend a hand to Leo. “I'm Jason Wiliam Smith.” Liam introduced himself.

Leo rounded his eyes. He felt strange about the man's statement.

“Open the gate!” Leo gave the order. He had to let the man in. To know who this guy really is.

“I said open!” Leo raised his voice. Upset because the housekeeper did not open the door.

Security officers opened the door immediately. Fearful of Leo giving orders.

Liam was quite happy that the door was finally opened. Of course he should come in soon.

Leo let Liam in. Liam happily walked into the house. He has to meet Josep.

Josep and Bella were so shocked when Liam walked into the house. Josep had banned Liam from entering. Unfortunately, Leo let in.

Liam was sitting quietly on the sofa in the living room. No matter the look of Josep and Bella.

“What Papa and Mama can explain who he is? Why does he have the name Smith? Is he our family? If he's our family, why don't Papa and Mama let him in?” Leo asked his mom and dad a question. There are a lot of questions that go into Leo's mind.

“Listen, Le. We'll explain later. Now you better go to work. Don't let you be late because of this.” Bella tries to shift the conversation to her son.

Liam who heard that smiled faintly. “If your parents won't say it, let me explain.” Liam stand. He had to explain everything to Leo.

Bella and Josep looked at each other. They're afraid Liam's talking a no-no. Of course they're afraid Leo will hate them.

“Leo, you should go to work. Mama will explain when you come home.” Bella tries to persuade Leo again.

“Why Mama seems to cover all. Is something wrong? Why won't Mama explain it to me?” Leo felt that his mother was hiding something. Of course, that made him even more curious.

“I am sister.” Liam's voice rang out breaking the debate between the mother and the child. Answer what Leo's questions are.

Leo turned towards Liam who was talking. Of course, that statement surprised him. From birth she was an only child. There was never any talk if he had a brother. So of course he doesn't know if he has a brother.

Josep and Bella were no less surprised. Of course it made him feel if Liam was really presumptuous. Because Liam told Leo that reality. Bella and Josep are certainly worried if Leo thinks that no-no.

“More precisely half-sister.” Liam grinned. It's nice to play with the Smith family. Especially Leo who looked surprised.

“Honey, you should just go to work. Later Mama and Papa will explain.” Bella is still trying to persuade her son. Don't want to hear any weird stories from Liam.

“I'll stay here, Ma. I want to hear firsthand who this guy is.” Leo will never leave until he knows who the man in front of him is. Want to know the real story.

Liam seemed to get a fresh breeze. Of course he will continue his words. Tell me what should be told. “Twenty-five years ago, my mother was the wife of Josep Smith. But suddenly a wicked woman took Joseph Smith and got my mother and I expelled. Do you want to know who the bad woman who took my papa is?” Liam looked at Leo. “Mumu.” He spoke with great emphasis. He looked at Bella Smith who was standing next to Leo.

“Wiliam, please stop saying.” Josep asked Liam to shut up.

“Why should you deny the facts? Indeed it is reality.” Liam grinned.

Leo really does not think if the past of the mother is like that. She thought her family was a happy family in general. Not one bit suspicious if there is a family that has been destroyed by the mother.

“Then what do you want here?” ask Leo curiously.

“Asking for my rights to the Smith family owned restaurant. The restaurant was built by my mother with her own money. So I want to ask him back.” Liam calmly explained his intentions.
