Vano continued to hold Celina's hand while driving. Occasionally glanced pity at his wife who continued to stare blankly at the streets.
The reality he faced was not easy to accept, although from the beginning claimed not to be as weak as others think.
For whatever concerns the life of the parents, no matter how strong the heart of a child, will certainly become fragile.
A feeling that has never been felt before.
Because there is no greater temptation to let go of the person who made us born into this world and feel the beauty of life.
"There's still one last operation I can do."
Vano lirih. His voice is so heavy because it hurts to see his wife who continues to daydream. Like a body without a soul.
Celina started to respond. Slowly looking back to Vano. But still with the same look. Empty and distant.
"Papa did not want to do it because he knew that the operation would fail 95 percent, and the rest could survive."
Vano took a deep breath. He did not have the heart to say any further but Celina should know as bad as what the condition of Papa Adiguna.
"Papa still wanted to have more time to see his family happy, rather than opting for an operation that could possibly take his life afterwards."
Vano clasped Celina's hand even tighter, then ventured to look her in the eye.
Tears that initially only pooled in the corner of the eye, now spilled over the cheeks.
How could Celina accept that explanation without crying. While his heart felt in shreds - shreds heard it.
"Mama's been persuading, but Papa insists on rejecting her.“
"After Papa came home from the hospital and his condition improved, you can persuade Papa to want to do the operation."
"Color me and Dion have no right to ask Papa to approve his operation."
"At least there's more work being done, than doing nothing and just waiting for that time to come."
"Nothing is impossible even if the doctor says only 5 percent of the chances of the operation being successful."
"The father is strong, can last this long."
"It's unlikely that Papa will give up after surgery."
...****...
Since coming home from the hospital this afternoon, Celina had kept quiet in the room.
Vano simply escorted Celina to the room, after which leaving his wife alone to calm her mind.
At the moment Celina winning takes time for herself.
He must be able to think clearly so that later he can take the decision that was discussed by Vano while on the way.
And since the afternoon, Vano had to take care of Naura who kept asking for the whereabouts of Oma and Opanya.
Naura also asks to meet with Celina, but Vano can only give understanding to Naura if Celina is currently resting.
"Naura sat here." Vano sat Naura in front of the dining table.
"Daddy wants to call Mommy first," he said as he peeked at Naura's forehead.
The beautiful girl nodded obediently.
Vano rushes to the room, leaving Naura alone at the dining table despite Ida's supervision.
Vano took a deep breath before approaching Celina who was standing on the balcony.
Celina's head slightly looked up, staring at the black sky decorated with stars and the faintly shining moon.
"you're not cold.?" Ask Vano. His two hands instantly infiltrated between Celina's waist to hug her from behind.
Celina was only wearing a thin knee-length dress with no arms.
Leave some of his skin exposed to the night wind that blows regularly.
Celina looked at it. Reviewing a faint smile at Vano, then looking back at the expanse of the sky.
His feelings are still chaotic, his mind seems to be deadlocked. Celina doesn't know what to do for Papa's recovery.
To be honest he was afraid to have Papa Adiguna undergo the last surgery, fearing that the operation would fail and would only lead to regrets and guilt that he might never forget in his lifetime.
Karn will think if he has delivered the life of the Papa.
"You can be sad, you can cry, you can lock yourself up like this. I've been in that position and done the same."
"But you have to remember, something excessive is not good, what else is there life in here."
Vano rubbed Celina's belly full of love, but accompanied by worry.
She was afraid that Celina's excessive sadness would have an effect on their child.
"Baby Boy could feel what his Mommy was feeling. He's sad when you're sad."
"You know, it's not good to let him continue to be sad while in the womb."
Vano said softly. Sounds very wise and attentive to the wife and child who are still in the womb Celina.
Celina turned body. This time he hugged Vano. Buried his face in the chest of Vano's field.
If there was currently no Vano and child in her stomach, perhaps Celina would not be able to accept the harsh reality of her life.
His mind must have been more chaotic, and his condition might have been even more miserable than this.
Hearing the news that his parents' age would not be long, naturally made his soul shaken.
"I have to how.?" Asked Celina while sobbing.
"I don't want Papa to leave us."
"If Mama and I are also devastated, then how can we live.?"
Celina's cry was getting broken. His embrace is getting tighter.
Losing a parent is the most frightening destiny. Some people will not even be able to imagine it.
"I'm asking you not to be too sad, but instead to cry like this."
Vano took a deep breath.
...****...
That afternoon, Celina was seen waiting for Papa Adiguna's return from the hospital.
He was sitting in the living room with Naura.
While Vano has been going to the office since 3 hours ago because he had to attend a meeting that he could not delay again after yesterday leaving the meeting room just like that.
"Opa, Oma," cried Naura.
His eyes sparkled seeing Opa and Omanya return home.
Naura immediately ran over to them and hugged Opanya.
"Naura wants to carry, Opa," he whined.
Papa Adiguna smiled widely since Naura welcomed him home.
Naura gave her own energy.
"Alright," replied Papa Adiguna with a big smile. He slightly bent down to pick up Naura, but was immediately banned by his wife.
"Don't make a tantrum, you just got home." Reprovedly. Mama did not agree that Papa Adiguna directly carried Naura while her condition was still weak.
"Naura's carrying same Oma only yah.?" He stretched out his hands in front of Naura.
Fortunately, Naura did not refuse. He came straight to his omana.
"Yeayy carried Oma," cried Naura pleased. He put his hand around his neck.
Celina had been silent since. Stand facing them and watch those who are walking towards them.
Papa Adiguna's personal driver was guiding him with heart.
It is clear that the condition of Papa Adiguna is very weak.
"Bah,," Call Celina softly.
Since then he wanted to call his Papa, but his tongue felt twisted.
The tightness in his chest felt squeezed.
Not able to see the face of the Papa.
"Why are you.?"
Papa Adiguna stared confusedly at the sad face of her daughter. She has not been told that Celina already knows about her illness.
Mama has deliberately not told him because she is waiting for Papa Adiguna's condition to improve.
Celina shook her head. He walked over and immediately hugged the Papa.
"Is Papa old.? Why did you get to the hospital just because you were exhausted."
"So soon Papa will have 2 grandchildren. Papa has to be strong in order to play with Papa's grandchildren."
Celina let go of her embrace, then smiled broadly.
"The next day I'm going to the hospital to check the contents."
"Papa and Mama should come along to see your handsome grandchildren."
Celina Exclamation.
She kept talking about the baby in her womb. Wishing the Papa will be happy and eager to survive in order to see his grandson born into the world.
While in the hospital, Celina also continued to tell about the development of children in the womb. Celina still remembered Papa Adiguna's big smile that was so happy when she listened to him tell a story.
"of course. Papa can't wait to see his face more clearly."
They sat down and started a small talk. Both Celina and Mama, they deliberately did not discuss about the disease that was in the suffering of Papa Adiguna.
"What are you guys talking about.?"
Vano immediately walked quickly towards the living room.
The sound of laughter that sounded tickling, made Vano curious.
Their laughter stopped immediately. Now compact staring at Vano who just came home.
"You're home yet.?" Ask Papa.
He glanced at the watch in his new hand at 11 p.m.
"Yes, just a meeting." Answer Vano.
He then sat down beside Celina, with a curious face.
"Is there anything funny.?" Ask again.
He looked at those who looked still holding back laughter.
"It looks like your daughter's grown up." Celina.
"Naura said she wanted to marry Leo."
Celina immediately held back her laughter. He knew that Vano wouldn't like to hear it.
Vano was silent. Her face looked depressed after hearing Celina's words.
Now he could only gawk at Naura who was actually chuckling.
"I have to match Naura to my business partner. Don't let me make a message with Dion.!"
His words in the heart.
