Amara Residence

Today was the worst dinner in Amara's life. She could not enjoy her dinner because Bagas indirectly like banging it with Meylan who should not know that Amaralah who made Bagas tau with the seafood restaurant was, and remains her favorite place for dinner even though she is no longer with Amara.

Amara put the cardboard containing her clothes outside the room and put the cardboard containing her personal belongings on the bed. He tried hard not to open the cardboard and had to throw it in the trash immediately. But again curiosity makes him have to open the contents of the cardboard.

A book about conceptualizing the room for beginners, some cd songs that contain his favorite songs with Bagas at that time, and two new year greeting cards and birthdays. Amara became curious because she did not remember any new year greeting cards or birthdays from Bagas she kept.

Amara opened her birthday card and read it

"Happy birthday dear best prayer for you and take care of your health, when to return to Bandung? We will be able to walk together again"

Salam kangen Bandung 2019

Mama

It turned out that the greeting card came from Mother Bagas, suddenly he felt a loss to meet Bagas' mother. He took his cell phone and called Bagas.

"Hello, Gas..does your mama often visit your house?"

"Amy..actually mom..."

"What is Gas? Your tone is so sad?"

"My mother died a year ago"

"What's? Mama's dead?" Amara was shocked to hear the news.

"Tomorrow you shall take me to where he is buried".ask Amara

"Well tomorrow I'll take you there".

"TPU" (public burial place) red earth

Madame Nita Pratama

Born June 26, 1956

Died April 21, 2020

"### Tell me about her last days" Amara said

"Tell me" Amara replied in a sad voice

"Alright, I already have a premonition of my mother's departure. I've been with him in the hospital since morning. I bought him all the food he wanted to eat with me.After his last day he wants to eat your homemade macaroni chicken soup".

Amara looked shocked and felt sad

He died in the early hours of the morning as I slept in the patient waiting room".

"Then why didn't you call me?"

Bagas looked at Amara coldly

"I have to Move on Amara!, I have to face it myself and not have to contact you. When I have good news I really want to call you but I can't. When I have bad news I still can't call you. I felt so alone, that birthday and new year card my mom had tipped me to send it to you, even though I didn't send it I couldn't throw it away. So I just kept it in my desk drawer, In my solitude all I thought about was that I should forget about you and move on with my life".

Amara was speechless to hear the stories and expressions of Bagas' heart that she had felt all along since she decided to leave Bagas.

He then held Bagas' wrist at least a sincere touch from him could ease the sadness that rose back from Bagas because of his request to tell stories.

"I don't know how Amy must be anymore, all the roads feel deadlocked for me" said Bagas.

"I'm very sorry Gas, from now on if you need any help from me.you can contact me anytime, after all I've now settled in Bandung". Amara said sincerely.

The emotions of Bagas became decreased his breath seemed to start to be regular even though his gaze was still fixed on his mother's tombstone.

Amara unintentionally looked to the left of Bagas and realized that Meylan was watching and listening to their conversation. Meylan immediately dodged Amara's gaze and moved away.

"You wait here for a minute, I want to buy you a drink" said Amara. He then followed Meylan who was walking towards the outside of the burial gate.

Meylan lit a cigarette and exhaled his smoke quickly. Amara approached him slowly.

"Mey.I'm asking you not to misunderstand me, I don't mean anything to Bagas".

"I understand Am, don't worry. But after hearing your conversation I felt like I didn't know Bagas when he said he felt alone. It made me feel like I wasn't helping her at all with her solitude"

Amara smiled wryly listening to Meylan's words.

"I also understand that everyone has a past. He's got a past, you've got a past I have, too".

Amara just smiled she did not want to be wrong in the words that could even make the situation runyam.

Meylan returned to enjoying his cigarette with a blank look.
