The long drive from the hotel was filled with repeated loud bangs that flowed from the heart to the rest of the body, to make Bonita shiver with anger. Arriving at home, he placed the bag and a series of original keys by the pool, then plunked the body into the blinding water of the eyes.
Still pictured in his eye patch when Benjamin was held in a friendly embrace by Zayna in an elevator hours ago. The coldness of the pool water was unable to make him think clearly. The bite on his body increased. His anger was stirred with jealousy. He was unable to express what kind of emotions were filling his soul.
However it seemed in Bonita's eyes, between her raging feelings and everything that seemed to be gray, Benjamin and Zayna did look very harmonious. Bonita is very sure they seem to have been in a relationship for a long time. It seems like Benjamin's words when referring to Zayna as an old friend - even without mentioning Zayna by name, are indeed the truth.
The idea came up what if he just drowned himself and died in that pool? It might be nice to know that Benjamin was crying over his death. However, it would be very sad if not, since Benjamin already had another woman who was much better than him.
The Bonita takes out its head on the surface of the water and breathes the air greedily. He looked at the sun that was hanging high. Glare once to the abundance of sunlight as if slapping him mercilessly.
'Bee made you glare until you gave him unnecessary trust. Let's see what he did to your precious trust! Maybe you should not be close to any man until death to pick you up, Boo.' That sickening thought appeared unnoticed Bonita.
Deafness delivered ripples of water around his body that floated on the surface. He closed his eyes and the one pictured in his eye patch was still the same. The figure of Benjamin being embraced affectionately by a graceful and sexy woman - whose beauty would not be able to be defeated by any woman he knew, even including himself, made his heart filled with a stifling heatstroke.
He knows he's jealous. He knew clearly that he was angry. However, not a single word was able to come out from his lips as his irritation had locked onto all the words that might be revealed.
'Zayna is so beautiful. Which man does not melt on his sexy body? Compared to a face and body like me. I lost to him. I guess .. This is when my relationship with Bee ends.'
The thought of giving up just came with a breath that made Bonita's heart empty. A type of void that spreads pain that is unlikely to heal anytime soon.
The sound of a phone ringing from a cell phone lying carelessly by the pool resuscitated his daydream. He knew whose phone it was because the ringtone was different from the others.
I don't know how many times Benjamin called her since they met face to face in front of the elevator. Bonita had no intention of accepting it. For Bonita everything was clear when she found Benjamin's guilty look at the hotel hours ago. The pain in his heart that had not left since yesterday, was getting wider and he let the pain drown him in agony.
A hot water thread escaped from between his eyes mixed with the cold water in the pool. He let his body float on the water and intended to stay that way all day. At least nothing will bother him at home that only exists for him because Nolan is abroad.
The phone stopped and came back a moment later. Bonita no longer cared who called. He didn't want to receive a single phone call that day. She had already given Velica a message on the way home and said she would go alone in another city for a while.
The sun is getting hotter and blinding to the eyes. Although there are many thick clouds of brownish cloud around it, even closing the eyes is not able to dispel the light that pierces the retina.
Bonita went back to diving and swimming to the edge. He left all his belongings lying in his place, then went into the bathroom to take a shower and changed clothes. He went to the kitchen to fill his stomach with a loaf of bread and half a glass of blueberry juice only to avoid Nolan doing long lectures on gastric health if Bonita found out he was skipping meals.
He was just about to return to the room when he realized it was raining. His feet stepped lazily to pick up the bag and a series of keys lying by the pool. Instead of going back to the room, he put it all in a back patio chair that was sheltered by the roof.
He took his cell phone from inside the bag and sat down in an empty chair. There were dozens of calls from Benjamin, as well as several calls from Velica and Melissa the brother-in-law. He gave his sister-in-law a phone call that was immediately received.
"Where are you, Boo?"
"I'm still alive. You don't have to worry about me." Bonita replied lazily as Melissa's ear-piercing panic sounded nauseating.
"Summer ...."
"I don't want to talk about it. Tell him I don't want to see him again. I think our relationship right now is pretty clear. That's all." Said Bonita who immediately disconnected the phone.
The pounding in his heart was still tight and agitated. The rumble in his chest that had disappeared after bathing, now came again. He stared at the raindrops that came down without saying anything and let time pass until day changed night. His mind was constantly struggling with all the crazy ideas that could not possibly have been accomplished.
Tired of everything, Bonita forces the body to rise and decides to return to the room. He put his things on the table, then laid his body on the bed. He pulled out a blanket to cover his body that was trembling with anger. In the end he closed his eyes as he felt very tired with his own feelings.
Nightmares bother Bonita. He ran without direction to find a way out. Fear haunted him. Even the sweat from running in a dream makes his body covered in blankets wet. I don't know how long he slept before waking up with an elbow on his cheek.
"Wake, Boo. Come on, let's talk."
Bonita knew who the owner of the voice was and simply pushed the body away from her before opening her eyes. He felt so angry that he immediately raised a look of hate after his eyes opened.
"I don't need an explanation from you! Leave now or I'll call the police to kick you out!" Shouted Bonita while getting up and continuing to push Benjamin's body out of his room.
"Listen to me."
"Are you deaf? I don't want to hear anything! Go and don't bother me! Our relationship is over here!" Shouted Bonita after successfully pushing Benjamin's body out of the room whose door was open. He immediately closed the door and locked it. "Go from here or I'll call the police!!"
"Boo, listen to me." The pleading tone of Benjamin's trembling voice outside the room was clearly heard.
Bonita ignores Benjamin's plea and returns huddled in bed. This time with a pillow that covers the ear to dispel the sound even though free.
'How did he get into this house? I'm sure I locked the gate and the front door. Is dad or Jeremy home yet? Or did he settle through the wall?' thought Bonita was panicking.
Benjamin kept calling Bonita by the name of knocking on the door, so his request to ask Bonita out to talk was very disturbing. Even if Benjamin didn't say anything, his presence in the house was already very disturbing to Bonita.
Bonita clucked in annoyance with hatred rising in her heart, "I don't want to talk to you! I saw you with that woman. That model stuck like a snake to you! I know you guys stayed in the same room last night! You won't be able to lie to me!"
"I can explain everything."
"Go or I'll actually call the police!!"
"Boo, listen ...."
"I won't listen to you! I gave you trust and you destroyed it! You said you'd help an old friend, but all you did was sleep with that woman!"
"Boo, give me a chance to talk. Zayna is an old friend of mine and I'm helping her. I'm not lying to you."
"Why did you have to stay in the same room? You think I'm stupid?" Shouted Bonita who was no longer wearing a pillow to keep Benjamin's voice out of his ears.
"We can talk about this without yelling, Boo. Open the door and I'll tell you everything that happened."
"I don't want to talk to you! Everything I saw this morning was enough to explain everything! Go and don't bother me! I hate you!"
Benjamin sighed and sat down with his back leaning against the door, "I'll wait. I'll give you some time to calm down, but we need to talk. You should listen to my explanation."
Bonita picked up the cell phone lying on the table and called the police. He reported in a whispered voice that a man had entered his house without permission. Half an hour later three policemen came and took Benjamin with them. Bonita told the policeman that he was fine even though he was not willing to open the door until they actually left in the end.
Now, only Bonita was left alone with a wounded heart. Betrayal comes after first trying to give a man confidence. He hated himself because his heart was too easily melted at the seemingly sincere attention.
Something felt wrong in Bonita's heart. Something felt out of place. He keeps thinking is it too much to call the police to expel Benjamin from his home? Was he being too cruel for not giving Benjamin a chance to talk?
However, one thing is very clear. Benjamin and Zayna could not have done anything while staying in the same room. Four years into the relationship and feeling that knowing all of Benjamin's nature turned out to be a waste. Their relationship just stayed there.
