1. Caught Wet Cheating
Bonita watches over Kenzo and Helga who are measuring samples of salem-colored wedding dresses with accents of flowers and butterflies scattered around the shoulders. The dress was fitted to a mannequin placed in the center of the room, right next to Maria who was sipping a sweet pink drink studded with sparkling stars. Bonita resisted the urge to snatch the drink and throw it in the trash to maintain the reputation of being at the border.
Ever since Maria set foot in bridal, the atmosphere changed. The woman exuded a arrogance that her own body was unable to accommodate. More than that, the domineering aura as if it was just her superior self compared to everyone in the room made Kenzo and Helga feel fed up.
"You have to diet in order to lose two kilos if you still force to use that size, Princess." Tegur Kenzo as he measured Maria's waist. His eyes glanced at the pink drink that was now lying on the table. His tone was polite and sweet, although the meaning behind it was very sharp. How not? He is holding back the great frustration that Maria managed to work on by adding various details to change the initial design they had agreed to since last month.
Maria glanced at Kenzo with no interest, "I definitely managed to lose weight right when my wedding was going on, Ken. Don't scorn me like I can't do it."
"I know yoga instructors who can help you lose weight. You can contact me at any time if you need information." Syndicated kenzo with curvy lips friendly smile.
Maria clucked in annoyance, "I can lose weight without any instructor. I just need to change my diet a week before I get married and I'll eat anything after."
Kenzo smiled cynically even though the smile vanished when he met Bonita. Helga asks Kenzo to be quiet with lips moving silently. Bonita shook her head slowly at the behavior of the two assistants and the customer in front of her - who was an old friend. I don't know how many times they have argued about weight, dress models, as well as the size of the dress that should have been chosen by Maria for her wedding.
The gown-dropping session with Maria has been going on for more than two hours. In the first hour, Maria managed to invite Bonita to talk about trivial things about old friends until Kenzo and Helga hesitated to disturb. Furthermore, Maria managed to get Bonita to change the design of the dress from the previous one and the last one requested was the fifteenth design.
"Boo, I want you to add five butterflies here." Mary says with a big smile and a raised nose while pointing towards the right hip of the mannequin. "I mean, a butterfly that looks alive. I'll pay whatever price you ask."
"Five is too much. What about two? I'll make her the perfect size and make you look like a princess who just came from the land of magic." Bargain Bonita with the alluring smile that is commonly given to all her customers. He knew price would not be a problem for someone who wanted a perfect wedding moment that would only happen once in their lifetime.
"alright. When can I see the results? I'm gonna bring Tommy here."
"Three more weeks."
"Can't you finish it sooner?"
"I'll do it, but I don't want to promise you a blank. I'm more concerned with quality. You should know that before you decide to wear my suit."
"All right then. When are you going to catch up with me getting married? Isn't four years a long time to think about getting married or not?"
Bonita placed the map containing the dress design papers on the table, then smiled knot. She and Maria were schoolmates eight years ago. They are not very close, but know each other well enough because their classrooms are close together. One thing Bonita knows for sure, Maria who is an excellent news seeker will not easily give up to get information.
"Benjamin hasn't proposed to you?"
Bonita stifled with laughter because Maria's guess was wrong, "That's my business with her. Our session is over today. I'll let you know when your dress is done."
Maria was offended until her two thin eyebrows frowned, "Can't you take longer for me? I'll pay whatever price you ask."
Bonita rose quickly towards the dressy mannequin to stroke the surface of the cloth, "That would be much nicer. Can you take our beautiful customers down, Ken? Encourage him to talk until he gets bored. She should also check the file to see the details of the price of her dress. Don't forget to drink whatever she wants."
Kenzo nodded briefly as he led Maria down the stairs, while Helga let out a sigh of relief that was clearly heard in Bonita's ears while she was tidying up the dress from the mannequin. Helga put the dress back into the storage room with a loud thumping sound emanating from the mast of the dress made of fallen steel.
"It's not the first time you've met such a shitty customer. Don't complain." Reprove Bonita when Helga returns.
"I'm not complaining. I just sighed. How could you possibly have a friend who is so curious about when you are getting married? I mean ... the time when you're going to get married is one hundred percent yours. You chose him yourself and he won't be able to interfere in any of your decisions."

[I just saw Benjamin and Zayna. I wanted to take photos of them, but lost track because my steps were covered by the photographer who was hunting for photos of all the invited guests who came.]
[Aren't you at the hotel opening?]
[Yes, and I saw your lover being hugged by Zayna.]

Bonita stared at the phone in her hand without blinking. To her knowledge, Velica was in another city, in a hotel near the beach because she got a job to make makeup for Isabell - a model who used to use the services of Velica. Bonita remembers Benjamin did give her a message a few days ago that he was going to the same town to help an old friend.
Benjamin's name quickly appeared on the phone screen. Bonita tried to call her lover, but was only greeted with a ringtone without any answer. Bonita tried to call so many times that his finger was numb from annoyance, but the result remained the same. Heart's fidgeting. His mind began to fill with various bad scenarios that might occur. Her heart skipped a beat with an irregular rhythm as it imagined another woman was hugging her lover.
'Bee (Benjamin) couldn't possibly have cheated on me. Velica may have been wrong to see.' Bonita thought just as another message came from Velica containing a photo.
The photo that Velica sent was a photo of Benjamin with a beautiful and very sexy graceful woman. They were wearing formal clothes in matching colors, staring at each other and laughing. Bonita almost lost her mind at the sight of Benjamin's arm being held in a friendly embrace by the woman.
For four years in a relationship with Benjamin, not once did Bonita see her lover as a man who had a hobby of changing women overnight. It was also what made him intend to accept Benjamin's proposal in the near future. However, the interaction recorded in the photo he saw made him doubtful.
Bonita asks Velica to send the location of the hotel. He went to his desk to pick up a bag and a series of keys, then ran down the stairs to the parking lot to ignore calls from Kenzo and Maria.
After sitting behind the wheel of the car, he opened a new message from Velica who had already sent the location point. Before long, the car was driven at high speed. The rumble on Bonita's chest needed an answer. He's gonna force Benjamin to explain what happened.
Bonita's parents' failed marriage has taught her a lesson. That if one intends to go, then it is better that the other gives up whatever feelings are left behind.
Tears melt on Bonita's cheeks as she recalls how devastated her family was when her parents separated leaving four souls injured, though her mother is nowhere to be seen. Bonita only believes that his mother was also injured even though she had never appeared before him since the separation occurred.
Can her heart let Benjamin go after finally getting the courage to get into a relationship and find comfort? Benjamin was the only man who had the hope of love for him. Can he behave like his father who let his mother go with another man and continue to live without loved ones?
