Sincerity Love Doctor Dikta
Chapter 2 Doctor Dikta

“How is my son, Doc?” asked the woman suddenly so that it surprised Dikta.

Dikta immediately turned to the source of the voice, and in that instant his world seemed to stop after seeing who greeted him.

“Alana?” said it.

Likewise with the woman named Alana, she was also surprised when she saw Dikta.

“Dikta?”

Dikta and Alana were lovers in college. They were in a relationship for so long that they eventually had to break up in the middle of the road because Alana was betrothed by her parents. Initially Dikta refused to break up because of her great love for Alana but fate did not side with her because it turns out Alana also accepted the matchmaking well. Even though Alana was officially someone else's, Dikta still loved her.

In the end, Dikta receives a wedding invitation from Alana. That's where the defense was destroyed and in the end Dikta learned to mengikhlaskan Alana and chose to focus on reaching his goal of becoming a doctor.

Those glimpses of the past were still clearly recorded in the memories of the two, Alana looked at Dikta with a confused feeling. He hadn't seen his ex-girlfriend in a long time. The last time he met was at his wedding. Likewise with Dikta, he also never expected to be reunited with Alana. The feeling that once had lost seemed to grow back. To be honest until now Dikta still can not forget the figure of Alana in his life.

“This is your child?” tanya Dikta while looking at Rafka who was fast asleep.

Alana nodded small. “He's my son,”

There is a disturbing feeling in Dikta when he learns that Rafka is the son of Alana. He looked at the innocent face of Rafka who was asleep. If he had been Alana's husband, it would have been her son.

“Sadly Dik, it's all the past. Alana already has a husband,” said Dikta in her heart.

“Emm, so how's my son doing, doc?” ask Alana again by still calling Dikta as a doctor.

Dikta looked back at Alana and stopped his daydream.

“Sorry, your son's fever is getting higher but I already gave him the heat-lowering drug earlier. She had just fallen asleep after a day of whining looking for you.” replied Dikta with her gentle speech.

Alana approached her son and checked his temperature. He really regretted having to leave his son alone from yesterday. But that doesn't mean he has a reason. Alana had a good reason to leave her son alone in the hospital.

“Sorry mama yes dear,” he said while kissing Rafka's forehead.

Dikta only looked at him while standing stiff, his legs as if they could not be moved. Alana raised her head and looked at Dikta's shady face. “Thank you, Doc. Thank you for taking good care of my son.” Her speech.

“Sama-sama. But please, don't be formal with me Alana. We are not strangers. Even if you already have your husband doesn't mean we can't be friends. Then excuse me first,” reply Dikta and leave Alana alone in the room.

Alana smiled faintly, then looked back at her sleeping son. Alana put her bag beside Rafka's bed, then she took a chair to sit down and look after her son.

.

.

Out of Rafka's room, Dikta is not directly on duty anymore. He decided to go back to his room first. Just now Dikta was about to open the door of his room when someone called him.

“Doctor...doctor..”.

Dikta looked behind him looking for the origin of the voice. The nurse he had met called him repeatedly. Dikta also approached.

“Sorry, doc. Patients in room 301 back anfall, doctor Vero has handled it but instead more seizures,”, the nurse told Dikta.

The dikta who heard that broke his intention to enter his room. This is more important than the problem at the moment.

“Then quickly contact a heart specialist doctor to get there immediately,” Dikta told Anna.

“Good, Doctor.”

After that Dikta immediately rushed to get there. This is his responsibility and Dikta cannot ignore it just for his personal benefit. He has also been sworn to serve and help every sick person.

Arriving in room 301, Dikta stopped his steps, he fell silent when he saw the cries of the family outside the room. Dikta was not ready to think about the worst possible. He hopes everything will be okay. With a steady step he walked back to enter the room. Dikta entered and closed the door again. Inside he saw doctor Vero who was also trying to deal with the condition of the little boy. Doctor Vero who saw the arrival of Dikta immediately rewinded his steps to give Dikta the way. But Doctor Vero also shook his head with a sad-looking face.

“God has taken it,” says Doctor Vero .

“How can it?” ask Dikta with an expression that is difficult to interpret.

“Slow handling, should this child immediately in surgery this morning but due to cost constraints so...”.

“So you guys don't handle it just because they don't have any fees?!” circus Dikta with his visible angry expression.

Doctor Vero and the nurses who were there lowered their heads did not dare to speak a word. Dikta clucked in annoyance while staring at them one by one. I want him to speak harshly to them because of his bod*hannya in this matter. Only because of the money they are willing to sacrifice the life of an innocent child.

Dikta checked the condition of the child hoping for a miracle, he could not bear if he had to deliver bad news to the child's family later. Then his eyes were fixed on the patient monitor that was moving again, he checked the pulse of the child who turned out to be very weak. A glimmer of hope returned to him. Dikta looked back at Vero who was silent.

“Don't you see this monitor moving back!! don't just shut up now prepare the operating room. This boy is still alive,” snapped Dikta on Vero.

“But...”.

“Do not be selfish, Doctor Vero. Patients can die if all you think about is the cost, cost and cost. I will bear all the costs. Quickly prepare the room!”

“Good, dok” replied Doctor Vero.

While the nurse in the room only looked at Dikta with a look of admiration. In this hospital there are not many doctors like Dikta. Most of them are more concerned with money.

“Patience son, you must be strong. Om the doctor will try to make you recover,” whispered Dikta while holding the little boy's hand.
