Aldi went into the house with his face that was not as usual. Making his household assistants who welcomed in wonder, unlike usual their young master put on a sad face.
"You just got home, Di?" aunty asked Dinda when she saw Aldi climbing the stairs to her room.
"Yes" replied Aldi briefly.
Aunt Dinda smiled, she immediately walked into the dining room, taking the initiative to bring food to Aldi's room.
After arriving at the room, Aldi immediately threw his bag in any direction, then threw his body onto the bed.
"When should I pretend to go to Ayana?"
Aldi rubbed his face riled up, took his phone, intending to contact Ayana, but he suddenly recalled Ayana's words.
"No, I have to remember that I'm just an ordinary friend to Ayana, I can't overdo it" he said.
Aldi put his phone on the desk by his bedside, undoing his intention to contact Ayana, because he had to behave like Aldi who Ayana knew in High School, where Aldi was mediocre with Ayana, not ordinary, more precisely when Aldi was hiding his love for the girl.
Aunt Dinda picked up some rice and some side dishes and took them straight to Aldi's room.
Geck.. Geck.. Tok..! Aunt Dinda knocks on Aldi's room door carefully, afraid to make the man angry if he knocks too hard.
Aldi got up, opened the door to his room when he heard the door on tap.
"Aunty brought food for you, you haven't eaten yet, have you?" ask Aunt Dinda softly.
Aldi saw Aunt Dinda clingy, as well as Aunt Dinda who saw Aldi a little afraid, because the man did not say a single word.
"May aunt put her meal there?" aunty Dinda asked while pointing at the table beside Aldi's bed.
Aldi nodded.
Auntie Dinda went into the room and put it on the table.
Slowly the two corners of Aldi's lips lifted slightly, very slightly, hardly even visible if the man smiled.
"Please Aunt" said Aldi.
A thank-you note that came out of Aldi's mouth was able to make Aunt Dinda feel happy. It sounds like a simple speech, but according to Aunt Dinda, Aldi's speech has a very big meaning, especially in relation to Aldi.
Aunt Dinda smiled happily. "How was college today? Smoothly?" Aunt Dinda tries to interact further with Aldi.
Aldi was still looking at Aunt Dinda with a cold gaze. "Currently," replied Aldi soberly.
Aldi looked at the food on the table, then looked towards Aunt Dinda. Aldi felt homesick for moments like this, where when his late mother was still alive, Aldi was often brought food by his late mother to his room, after five years finally Aldi felt it again.
"Aldi doesn't like the food, does he?" ask Aunt Dinda.
"Like it" replied Aldi.
Aldi pulled out his study chair, directing it to Aunt Dinda. "Sit Tan, stand up and not tired?" he said it still with a cold-sounding tone.
Aunt Dinda sat down, and Aldi sat by her bed.
"Aunty has eaten?" aldi asked with a reluctant look to Aunt Dinda.
"Not yet" replied Aunt Dinda.
Aldi immediately got up while taking his food on the table. "Let's go to the dining room, eat together," said Aldi walked first, leaving Aunt Dinda who was still looking at Aldi's words.
Aldi walked to the dining room with his food, followed by Aunt Dinda walking behind him.
Aldi ate his food, as did Aunt Dinda who was sitting next to the man. Both of Aunt Dinda's eyes heated up, she wanted to shed her tears because she felt very happy to be able to eat together with Aldi, although the look of Aldi's face still looks cold, but this was more than enough for him.
Tears that had been resistant Aunty Dinda finally fell, but she quickly wiped it, not wanting Aldi to see her cry.
"Aldi likes chocolate pudding, right? Last morning Aunt made chocolate pudding" said Aunt Dinda opened the conversation.
The deg! Chocolate pudding, it reminds Aldi of his late mother. Aldi really likes chocolate pudding, especially if the chocolate pudding is cold, Aldi really likes it.
"Like," replied Aldi while keeping his depleted food out of his sight.
"Aldi want?"
"Can."
"Wait a minute, Auntie get it in the fridge first." Aunt Dinda rushed to take her homemade chocolate pudding in the refrigerator, not wanting to make Aldi wait too long, she was so happy that Aldi wanted to try it.
"Tara..," Aunt Dinda put her homemade chocolate pudding in front of Aldi.
Aldi took a deep breath, throwing it away slowly. Aldi tried to hide his sadness, because honestly he was a little touched by the small treatment of Aunt Dinda today, ranging from food brought to the room, to chocolate pudding that reminded him of his late mother.
Aldi tasting. The pudding was so sweet and cold, it was exactly like the chocolate pudding he last ate five years ago.
"Nake?" aunty Dinda asked, afraid that the pudding would not be liked by Aldi.
"Enak" replied Aldi, again eating the chocolate pudding.
Aunt Dinda smiled, she was very happy if Aldi liked his chocolate pudding.
"Aldi likes what other food? Later Aunty make it for Aldi," said Aunt Dinda who wants to immediately improve his closeness with Aldi.
"No aunt, Aldi does not want to take care of others," replied Aldi.
"Tante does not feel bothered, even Aunt is happy if Aldi eats made by Aunty," said Aunt Dinda.
Mr. Derawan who just entered the house, was amazed why his household assistants were behind the wall. Mr. Derawan approached them, along with seeing what had become the spectacle of his household assistants.
Both of Mr. Derawan's eyes rounded when he saw Aldi and Aunt Dinda who were in the dining room together.
"Tock them—"
Hearing Mr. Derawan's voice, the household assistants immediately turned towards Mr. Derawan. How surprised they were when they found out Mr. Derawan had taken a peek.
"Astagfireullah! You make me surprised," said Ms. Retno.
"Kok Aldi same Dinda can eat together?" asked Mr. Derawan did not believe what he currently saw.
"I was also confused, sir, Mas Aldi suddenly brought food and ate with Madam," explained Bu Umi.
Both corners of Mr. Derawan's lips expand, at least his steps choose to move to this house make Dinda a little closer to Aldi. It was not in vain that he lied that his house was being renovated.
Mr. Derawan wanted to approach Aldi and Aunt Dinda, but Ms. Retno withdrew Mr. Derawan's hand, while preventing her employer from damaging the atmosphere that Aunt Dinda had built to approach Aldi.
"Why did you take my hand?" ask Mr. Derawan.
"Master don't go there, if you go there you must be Mas Aldi back to his room," explained Ms. Retno.
Mr. Derawan nodded in understanding, it was also true that Bu Retno said, if he approached Aldi and Dinda, surely Aldi would immediately leave. "Yes, yes, Miss Retno is smart too" said Mr. Derawan.
