CHAPTER 4 – CHIP Life
For a moment the cloaked man felt relieved if he was currently unknown to anyone other than Rais. If that moment were to happen, then he would instantly die just like that. “I think this person is a murderer or ******* something like that who came to threaten or kill others. But it doesn't seem and he is facing a serious problem”, Rais murmured.
The robed person sat on the bed to think of a plan ahead. Rais stood up to cover the window. The room is now silent without sound. Rais asked the man.
“I want to ask you” asked Rais.
“What do you want to ask?” replied the cloaked man who was contemplating.
“Why did you come back to me again? Though I have given you the thing you asked for” asked the curious Rais.
“I want to ask you. Before you gave it to me, was it black when you picked it up?” ask the cloaked man to convince himself
“Yes. And I pick it up there is a possibility that it can be used again” replied Rais who immediately the robed person sighed.
The cloaked man immediately thought to hide so that he felt he would not be caught by anyone. Rais who was about to ask something, suddenly the robed man closed the door of his room.
“Why did you close my bedroom door? What happens and why what happens if the object is black”. The question from Rais made the cloaked man sigh.
“First, I closed the door to be unknown to others including your friends and my enemies who are outside”.
“Secondly, if I am found then I will be tortured and die”.
“Three, if the thing you gave me is black, then it is dead or there is no life.”.
Instantly Rais who heard that it was a life, felt strange.
“How could it be that you said a life when what I saw was like a storage area of data” said Rais who was still curious.
“It is a chip of life. If the chip is lit, then there is life but if not then the life inside the chip is dead” said the cloaked man by telling the truth.
“I still can't believe it” said Rais who still doesn't believe.
“Maybe now you can't believe it because this chip is no longer on. If this chip turns on, I'll show you the life inside this chip” the robed man said as he showed the chip to Rais.
“Can I see that chip?” said Rais who wants to see that chip.
“Take. Maybe I will rest here for a while until the conditions outside are calm” said the robed man giving chips to Rais.
Rais also saw the shape of the chip. And it turns out that the chip is not like a data storage area in HP but is shaped like the front of the house. “Maybe this chip does not have a motherboard as in the CPU of the computer” Rais murmured.
But he was still wondering how to make this chip light up. At that instant Rais had the idea to call Aman, but he had to ask permission first to the cloaked man.
“I have an idea, but I have to ask others for help. Can I bring her here? And I promise I'll help you.” Said Rais who at that time made the cloaked man stand up and pulled out his sword which was still inside the sheath.
“Yes, and I have to figure out how this thing lights up first. But I have to ask my friend for help. I beg” said Rais patting both hands to get permission.
Although it's a silly idea to make it light up again, but at least he should be able to get this cloaked man out of my house. The robed man thought for a moment and finally nodded.
“Really? Thank ye. I will allow you but I want your friend also to know my situation now” said the robed person who felt happy when helped.
Rais also pretended to smile as the cloaked person was delighted.
At night, there was someone who had just come out of the forest and was looking for someone wearing a robe. Ever since their fight in space that resulted in one of their swords unleashed an explosion that kept the two very far apart and fell to Earth.
It looks at the radar on its clock to detect life chips. But he found no sign of life chips. The man goes on his way to a nearby town to find the owner of the life chip and collect it.
Still at night, Rais calls Aman and is heard by the robed man. Rais explains to his friend what happened today, though he still looks scared of the robed man who is still standing in front of the window. He was still making sure of the situation outside Rais' house.
“Is that person still at your house?” say Aman.
“Yes, and now I'm asking you to help me tomorrow. How?” said Rais who asked for Aman's help.
“Good. But he's really not going to kill me, is he?” ask Aman again.
“Iya, I wait at home” said Rais
Safe also hung up the phone. The cloaked person still saw the circumstances and conditions coming out outside. Rais who saw him tried to invite him to talk.
“Before I wanted to ask you something. What made you come to this planet?” asked Rais who wanted to melt his silent atmosphere in his room
“I fought with someone out there and he was willing to snatch life chips arguably snatched up for sale on the black market. Until now I do not know how many life chips he has taken including one of my friends out there who was killed because of their actions” said the cloaked person
“Chip of life is a combat weapon found on the planet where I live that has now disappeared due to the great war fighting over the chips of life. I escaped from the planet with that chip” he said again while pointing at the chip held by Rais.
“And I face him not falling on the same planet. If the opposite happens, the chip will be taken and I will definitely be killed. I hope that when I meet him you and your friend should stay away from me so that there are no other victims” said the robed person again
“But why don't you just give me that chip. Doesn't the chip no longer turn on”, said Rais
“Although the chip does not light up, it still stores its power. And that power will be used for the next war” said the robed man.
