Chapter 2 – Panic and Fear

The school bell rang indicating that lessons would start again soon. After the lesson begins Aman and Deni remember their conversation with Rais in the canteen. While still in the study, Aman and Deni looked at the school gate and they were shocked by what Rais said as if they did not believe. The robed man was still standing next to the gate.

Deni also felt scared especially when he saw the sword that was in the belt that was printed on his waist. At the same time, Deni was shocked when he was called by the teacher. “I would feel scared again if I went home alone. Better later I stay at his house Aman lah” murmured.

Aman looked towards the gate as well. What Rais and Deni saw was the same as what Aman saw. On one side Aman was scared and on the other he was curious about the person. “Who's waiting for that guy? And why do I feel that person is weird?. Means what was seen by Rais this morning is real” murmured Aman who thought hard.

The robed man walked towards the school building. It seems like he is approaching directly. When they saw the robed man walking away, Deni was even more afraid. Aman and Rais are watching the person. The cloaked person suddenly disappeared along with the gusts of wind that came. Deni was even more afraid and asked for permission to go to the toilet. Rais and Aman are still curious about the person and what he wants.

Until the break bell rang Rais and Aman held an impromptu meeting in the canteen along with Nora. But they just remembered that Deni didn't meet them. The three of them approached Deni's class and there they did not find him. 

Rais and Aman become panicked because Deni is a coward who if he has been feared from the beginning then he will be more wary of his surroundings.

Rais and Aman thought of looking for her in the health room. Sure enough, Rais and Aman saw Deni in the corner of the room. Nora helps Deni stand up and sit on the chair. Rias and Aman felt sorry for Deni who was already very scared. “Later we will be with ya friends” Deni said to his friends. Nora, Rais, and Aman also understand Deni who finally at the hour of returning to school, they agree to take Deni home first.

After delivering Deni, the three of them went home together to the same rah. But they didn't know if the cloaked man was still following him from behind and far away, so they didn't feel or see him.

Aman also began to raise the conversation about what happened at their school this morning at noon. “When we delivered Deni, I guess we just assumed that what he was after was us. But after I looked around, I did not find the cloaked man again.” Aman told his two best friends. “I'm so relieved today. At least this can reduce the fear that I experienced this morning until noon”, continued the speech from Rais. “But I'm still curious about that guy. Is he targeting someone in our school or we are still the target?”, said Aman who is still curious about the person in the cloak. “It's been at least you just misunderstood. Why should we be his target. We will never interfere or do anything evil to him”, said Nora who assured her friend that we are not the target.

“At last I went home alone. I better have to quickly get home so that nothing happens, ” muttered Rais who still felt anxious even though he thought he was not the target, but the person in the robes is Rais.

Rais was not aware of it, so he was seen to walk casually without anything happening. Rais went home through a small alley that he used to pass as a shortcut to his house, but when in the middle of the alley the robed man appeared. Rais who suspected that not among those who were targeted turned out to be wrong. So Rais was scared for now.

Rais tried to retreat, as he still saw the person still carrying the sword located on his waist. Feeling in danger Rais tried to run to the highway, but he was stopped again by the robed man. “Kok he can be in front? Wasn't he in the back?” said Rais who felt very scared.

He walked back again and turned to run again. “I still remember the streets in this small alley that was like a labyrinth and I still remember the exit” muttered Rais who ran as fast as possible and away from that person. But this time he failed and met him again. Rais did not give up and there are other ways. It kept repeating until Rais was not strong enough to run and felt tired.

He took the phone in his pocket and called Aman. When Rais was about to press the call button, the cloaked person appeared right in front of Rais. “Can I ask you something?” the robed man asked Rais. “What is it?”, Rais answered in a goosebump and thought he would take out a sword and kill him. “Restore the items you took while on the road this morning. I don't want to hurt you” said the robed man in a smile.

Rais took out the thing he got this morning and handed it over. Rais who was in a state of fear immediately retreated slowly so that the robed person did not know the existence of Rais. “I have to go home soon. This is my chance to escape” Rais murmured when he saw that person holding the object given by Rais. The cloaked man tried to put the thing into his sword. When he pulled out his sword Rais felt shocked and tried to retreat as soon as possible.
