Our High School's
Memories of Aya

At the beginning of the new semester, Aya's school held an inter-school basketball game in order to welcome the anniversary of the school's fifty-second birthday. Although the twelfth grade was not allowed to attend the match, they were obliged to support their school by attending the annual regular event.

Hearing there is a basketball game between schools, Aya looks very enthusiastic. He loved basketball, even though he could not play the popular sport.

And the first day as well as the opening of the event, Aya school will do the opening match against other schools that are not far from their place.

“Which opponent?” ask her classmates.

“Bina Bangsa, Ay” replied his friend.

Aya was shocked when she heard the name of the school that was going against her school. He began to find out the line up of players from Bina Bangsa High School. After getting that information from the match committee, Aya was surprised not to play. Because he recognized one of the players written in the committee notes.

“Divo?” muttered Aya lirih.

“Who's Divo?”

Aya too focused on reading the committee's notes until she did not realize that Daffin was behind her.

“Who, Ay?” ask Daffin again.

“Oh, temen smp I” replied Aya.

As soon as the match started, Aya focused his gaze on the Bina Bangsa players who were coming out of their basecamp. Even Aya did not answer Daffin's question that was thrown at him.

“Ay!”

“Hah? What?”

“Kok you didn't answer my question anyway?” daffin Protest.

“Sorry. I am again looking for the position of temen I” said Aya.

“Si Divo it?” ask Daffin suspiciously.

Aya nodded and Daffin's expression instantly turned badmood. Especially after Aya explained that Divo was her ex-boyfriend during Junior High School. Divo is Aya's first love and lasts long enough. At first Aya and Divo were only friends. And after a few months of getting to know each other, Aya was shot by Divo while sitting in the second grade of Junior High School, but Aya refused because at that time she was targeting other guys. Under the pretext of "not going out with friends" he put up a large wall between himself and Divo.

When Aya's gaze was fixed on a player numbered back ten, Aya became silent. The shadow of the flashback during junior high school came back to his mind.

February 2014

"Hi, you're Aya, right?" someone greeted Aya from the direction of the basketball court.

"Yes.." Aya replied to him briefly because she did not know who greeted him.

"I'm Dirga, captain of the basketball team. You're the same class as Debi, I'm Debi's brother" explained the man who dressed up the typical basketball boy.

Aya just nodded, Debi is indeed her classmate. He had little doubt that Dirga was Debi's older brother, as they were a little bit unlike.

"I just want to say hello, greetings" Dirga rushed to leave Aya after some children called her from the basketball court.

But not yet five steps, Dirga turned around and returned to approach Aya.

"Eh, I'll have a basketball game at four in the afternoon, I want you to watch. I wait, don't forget!"

"What the hell, not very clear" Aya's mind and back to step towards the class.

The school bell rang as did Aya's cell phone.

I wait in the field. Dirgaceous

Aya clicked while reading the incoming message on her phone. Where did Dirga get her phone number from, Aya thought at the time. But his brain immediately went to one name, Debi.

Lazy mixed with curiosity, finally Aya went to the basketball court. Once there, the place was boisterous and full of supporters and cheerleaders. Aya was a little amazed, she never once watched a basketball game let alone live. And for the size of Junior High, this match is quite large and lively. Aya admitted.

"Hi, Aya!"

Aya looked around looking for the source of the voice. And when he found and saw who greeted him, he began to dismiss his admiration for the show.

"At last you came too, I've been living from earlier. Thank you for coming" said the lover who is none other than Dirga.

Aya just replied with a slight smile. Luckily Dirga soon passed, otherwise Aya would be awkward serving his chatter. Not familiar yet, but it's been made uncomfortable.

Seeing that the stands were still empty, Aya moved from where he stood and filled one of them. He looked around, he didn't find Debi. Ah, Aya did want to meet with Debi and ask about her number that was spread without permission. But until the half-game road game, he hasn't seen Debi anywhere.

Aya was surprised, she said Dirga was her brother, but why did Debi not watch her brother's match?

But Aya is still positive thinking. Maybe I can't watch, not because I don't want to.

The match had already run half the game, and Aya missed that half because he was busy looking for Debi's whereabouts. Dirga was occasionally caught stealing glances towards Aya's seat. But Aya ignored Dirga.

The sound of the change of players whistle made Aya's view focus on one of the players who was about to enter the field. The player wears a jersey with the number ten, Aya's favorite number. And that was also what made Aya start to focus on the match.

But what makes Aya more focused is the face and posture of the player. He was very tall, probably about 160 cm. His body is also strapping, his shoulders are wide for Junior High School classmates. If it wasn't a school event maybe Aya thought he was a professional player. His movements are also very agile, agile and on target every shot and pass the ball.

"Well, is there something like this on our basketball team?" muttered Aya while smiling to herself.

And until the game was over with Aya's school victory, his gaze was only on the number ten player. Unfortunately, he did not know the name of the player. And from which class. Because he had not seen his target players in the field area, Aya also intended to go home but Dirga confronted him first.

"Where are you going, Ay? I just finished, I'm gonna take you for a second, yuk!"

"Where are you? I have to go home soon" said Aya coldly.

"Udah, come with me! Later also know. Yuk!"

Without Dirga's consent immediately pulled Aya's hand and dragged her towards the warehouse behind the school. Aya's feelings were mixed, her mind was constantly thinking about the no-no.

"Why are we here?" aya asked, trying to cover up her nervousness.

"I want to know you as a basketball kid" said Dirga casually.

Aya scrunched her forehead, rethinking about her decision according to Dirga's invitation. Many times he asked inwardly "why meet should be in the back shed of the school?". But Aya brushed it off, because she thought that usually boys always kongkow behind school.

And sure enough, in the back shed area had gathered many boys, but there were some girls there as well. Maybe the cheerleaders kid, Aya thought.

"Well, the new coupling, bro?" hit one of them.

"Yoy! Know, Aya. Know my friends" said Dirga while telling Aya to accept the greetings of her friends.

"Yes."

Aya introduced herself briefly. I don't know why he felt something was wrong. There he saw many strange objects such as bottles of energy drinks, not liquor but the amount was very much, it was not natural to see those who gathered not as much as that as well.

Again Aya positive thinking, maybe just garbage from the warehouse. But just a few minutes Aya was there, she started to see another oddity. Some of them seemed to be acting strange, his footrest was shaky. And Aya is shocked when one of the girls that Aya thinks is a cheers boy, walks into one man's arms and starts kissing him brutally.

"Well.." Aya screamed small so surprised, making Dirga chuckle to see Aya scream after watching the hot scene.

"Rilex, Ay! They just let go of longing" said Dirga followed by his broken laughter.

Aya who was starting to be sure of the place, the people and the atmosphere in the place were very strange, decided to move from the warehouse area. But again his hand was pulled by Dirga swiftly.

"Where are you? Your turn hasn't started yet!" Dirga began to talk bouncing, his standing position began to waver just like some children earlier.

"I want to go home" Aya tried to take off Dirga's hand grip.

"Gue said your turn hasn't started yet, asshole!" Dirga swung her hand towards Aya's face.

"Aaakkk.." Aya shouted and closed her eyes. But why did nothing happen, Aya thought. Because the position of Dirga's hand has been confirmed his hand will land on Aya's face.

And he also dared to open his eyes. It turned out that there was another hand holding Dirga's hand in the air. Aya looked at the face of someone she knew.

He's the number ten.

"Enough, Ga! Don't bother him" said the number ten still holding Dirga's hand.

"What business do you have, take off my hands!" Dirga tried to pull his hand but failed.

"Lo's over doping, Ga. Stop it or I'll report to the teacher" threatened the number ten. Ah, Aya is frustrated because she doesn't know her name.

Without further ado, the number ten took off Dirga's hand and took Aya away from the warehouse area. They walked towards the front of the school without saying a word. But Aya had a lot of questions that she had in her brain many times. About what the name of this child, from what class, why he helped him and many more.

It's true Aya's guess, they are indeed taking medicine. And definitely illegal drugs. But Aya did not think that this had anything to do with the doping of athletes. They must be using substances or drugs to help them stay fit and win the game. They could have used doping during the match earlier. And the effect is still there or they did add to it after the game.

"Damn it.." chirped Aya, making the number ten realize that from earlier his hand was still pulling Aya's hand.

Thought 'fucking' earlier for him, he immediately took off his hand.

"Sorry, forgetfulness" said the number ten.

Realizing the misunderstanding of being 'fucking' earlier, Aya hurriedly explained.

"Eh, no, no! Not you who fucking, uh.gimana anyway" Aya belibet and make the number ten laugh.

"It's okay, I get it" the boy continued.

"By the way, thank you! I just nolongin me earlier" said Aya more relaxed.

The boy just nodded and smiled.

"What's your name, anyway?" Aya ventured to ask first, she was frustrated from earlier calling him the number ten in her mind.

"Why? You're interested in me, curious about me?" teasing the boy while smiling mischievously, made Aya shake her head in wonder at his behavior.

"Not really, it's frustrating. From earlier I called you 'the number ten' in my brain" Aya replied innocently.

Hearing Aya's answer and innocence at that time then made the child laugh again.

"So you've been squirming me since I played on the field? Well, kirain just met this earlier" said the boy.

Aya grimaced from being caught paying attention to him earlier. He also put on the shy face of his cat.

"I'm Divo, you're Aya, right?" answer the number ten.

Aya's daydreams were spoiled when Daffin patted her shoulder. After looking at his girlfriend, he realized that beside Daffin was already standing someone Aya knew.

“Hai, Aya! How are you!” greet Divo.
