Finding the Ark

Daffin turns his eyes wide. He could not believe what he had just heard.

"You want us to break up? Why?"

Aya paused for a moment, took her breath short and exhaled.

"I'm tired of being this way" replied Aya coldly.

"I want to go back to my previous life, when I didn't know you" he continued.

Daffin began to look confused and could not accept Aya's decision. He held onto Aya's shoulder and shook her quite hard.

"What do you mean, Ay?" ask Daffin.

Actually Daffin understood the meaning of Aya's words. He also understands it. He simply could not accept the unilateral decision Aya had taken all of a sudden. Especially after silence and avoid it for days.

"Come, Fin! I know you understand what I mean. I'm tired, I want to go home."

Aya walks away leaving Daffin still riveted. He even dared to shake the man's hand while trying to hold him back from leaving.

Eventually Daffin chose to let go without any more resistance. Actually, he also felt guilty because since knowing him, Aya experienced many terrible things to the loss of her father.

But Daffin does not plan to release Aya for good. He would only let her 'break' for a moment from their relationship and from all the pressure she received. Daffin will again try to approach him if all the problems they have solved.

Miss contacted Daffin to provide information regarding Arka. He has managed to find cctv footage attached around the road to the roof of their school building.

As Nona walks with Daffin in the classroom hallway, they cross paths with Aya who just returned from the canteen. Seeing the two of them, Aya stopped and fell silent for a moment, and immediately walked back to her classroom. He still had a cold, flat face in front of Daffin. Even as Miss tried to greet him, Aya ignored her.

"Well, what's wrong, Fin? Is he still jealous of me?" ask Miss.

"He sent me yesterday" replied Daffin short.

"Huh?" Miss was surprised because she did not know the news yet.

"Is it because of me?" ask again.

Daffin shook his head and invited him to meet the children they were looking for.

As per Daffin's request, Miss found the children who were on the roof at that time and talked about Arka. Daffin chased them because he felt that information about the Ark would be able to get from them.

Once they found the children, Daffin dragged them to a garbage dump in the back area of the school. He immediately attacked them with a lot of questions.

"Who are you?" ask one of the children they found.

"No need to know who we are. Tell me where Arka is now!" shout Daffin.

"Oh, are you Arka's friend? How dong, I don't know where he is" replied the boy.

Daffin looked at him sharply. He tried to push them in his own way. Even he tried to beat them up despite being stopped by Miss.

"Hold, Fin! We're in school again" said the lady.

Miss took over the role of Daffin to suppress them. He feels his role today is more needed than the pressure of a man like Daffin.

He approached the children with a slightly mischievous gesture. Daffin looked at her with a confused and difficult-to-explain look. He did not know what the girl would do. Miss could have done some crazy things out of her mind.

Sure enough, Miss seduced them by whispering something in the ear of one of the children who looked like the leader of the gang. His whispers seemed to affect the boy greatly, as he seemed to smile cunningly and expectantly.

After whispering that, Miss edged back by floating an airy kiss and a mischievous wink from her one eye.

The children instantly left the place with wide smiles and exploding laughter.

Daffin squinted his eyes at Miss and looked at her suspiciously.

"What did you do just now? Then what was the whispering event?"

"What'sthis? Are you jealous?" ledek Miss.

Daffin shook his head in disbelief with the answer coming out of Miss's mouth.

"I promise you they'll stick with me if they give us any info" she continued.

"Huh? Crazyhead!"

"Why? The important thing is that we get the Ark" said Miss chuckling.

They left the place because the bell had rung and they had to go back to class. The children also promised to take them to meet Arka after school.

Before long they arrived at a warehouse that was located quite far from the school. The warehouse was quite large but was in a quiet area of the population. Daffin was surprised to learn there was such a place in an area that was quite full of buildings and skyscrapers.

As soon as the barn door was opened, Daffin immediately saw someone tied to a chair with a mouth stuffed with cloth and eyes closed.

"That's Arka!" mumbled Miss held her shock.

Daffin and Nona approached Arka without making a sound. While the three children who were with them opened Arka's blindfold and mouthpiece.

Arka was surprised because so opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was Daffin and Nona standing in front of her.

"Daffin!" arka.

Daffin stepped closer to Arka. He bent his body until his face was parallel to Arka's face.

"Suckers! What did you do to Aya's father?" Daffin gripped the collar of Arka's shirt with full of emotion.

Arka didn't say anything. He looked confused and there was a bit of fear on his face.

"Ar, you be honest! We have photographic evidence in it that there are pictures of you with those people" Ms Miss said.

"****!"

Suddenly Arka thrashed and revolted. He tried to break away from the bond that wrapped around his body. He also began to shout indistinctly like a person who lost consciousness.

Daffin and Nona are flabbergasted to see Arka's attitude suddenly change in a quick time, especially after discussing Aya's father.

"Hey, why him?" shouted Miss panic.

Daffin ran to hold Arka because he was losing consciousness. He tried to resist the movement of the Arka's body which continued to wrangle violently.

But when Daffin and Nona were confused to see the change in Arka's attitude, the three children just quietly relaxed and just observed them. Even when Miss glanced at them, the three children were seen smiling and mocking.

"Hey, you! Explain why he could be like this!" she shouted as she threw a bottle towards the three children who were standing still.

"Let's calm, every day he's like that. They will be quiet again" they said.

Miss cursed them even though they were only met with laughter. He immediately approached Daffin who was still holding Arka's body.

"Fin, we need to get Arka out of here!" said Miss lirih.

Daffin seems to think fast with a face full of emotion. He took his hand off Arka's body and ran towards the children standing behind them. Daffin directly beat them with all his strength in order to subvert them quickly. He agreed with Miss saying that he should take Arka out of here first.

But the children were not easily defeated. They have a fairly decent martial ability can match the ability of Daffin who is a Taekwondo black belt holder.

Meanwhile, Miss is trying to untie Arka. Despite the slight difficulty, he was finally able to take it off with a small knife from the nail clippers he carried inside his bag.

Arka who was struggling when she was still tied, now actually pulled Miss's hand back and shouted to stop the fight Daffin and the children.

"Stop!"

Daffin stopped and turned towards the sound of the scream. But he saw Arka was threatening them by putting a small knife on Miss's neck.

"andr! Lo what? Release Miss!" shouted Daffin furiously.

The three children also cursed Daffin who did not believe their words to let Arka with his attitude earlier.

"Gue told her! He's a drug maker, if he relapses he's raging. That's why we tie it" said one of the children.

Arka shouted back and asked them to step aside so that she could get out of the place. Daffin tried to obey him while thinking about what steps he should take. He did not expect Arka to be this severe. He tried to get her to talk first.

"Ar, what do you want? Say it!" said Daffin with a lowered tone.

"Gue wants to get out of here!" yell Arka.

"OK, but tell me first, what made Aya's father die?" ask Daffin.

"Yes! I'm the one who cheated! But I didn't intentionally!" yell Arka again.

Daffin held back his emotions from exploding after hearing Arka's confession. He was eager to beat him up at that time, but he also had to think about the safety of Miss who was still held hostage by Arka.

Daffin decided.

"All right! You can get out of here, but let Miss go, don't hurt her!" daffin said, in his heart he swore to find and beat him later.

Luckily Arka wanted to listen to Daffin's request. Arka just wanted to get out of that place as soon as possible. He had no interest in hurting anyone at that time. He releases Miss and pushes her towards Daffin until she staggers.

After successfully passing the obstacles of the three children, Arka also ran out of the warehouse with a condition full of scarred ties on his hands and feet.
