My Whole Wife

My Whole Wife
Chapter 66: The Day of Surprise

The appointed day for Damian and Diana's wedding finally arrived as well. Diana appears like a princess Cinderella with a broken white wedding dress. Damian himself did not need to be asked, his handsome face seemed to fit all kinds of tuxedo suits worn for him. There is no invitation that does not praise the beauty and good looks of this bride and groom.

Before the marriage contract was held, Diana was still warning the arrival of Doctor Jeremy who was said to be the guardian of her marriage witness. It is precisely the agreement of the qabul ijab will not begin before the witness on the bride's side comes.

And now Dr. Jeremy is right to keep his promise. However, instead of immediately starting a contract, the man who was the same age as Diana's father even bought time to bring someone in front of Diana.

"I'm sorry, Uncle Diana, I don't think uncle can be your guardian for your marriage." Doctor Jeremy surprised everyone.

"But why, sir? At least explain to us the reason you pulled this promise. My wife-to-be has completely held a huge trust in you, Are you among those who want to hurt her feelings?" Damian's growls over Doctor Jeremy's statement.

"Although, Wali nasab Diana is here. He is more entitled to marry his only daughter. I will be willing to bear witness to this marriage." Dr. Jeremy explained and remained incomprehensible to Diana or Damian because obviously Diana's father was reluctant to come despite being asked to attend.

There was the sound of the door of the towering building opening. There shows the figure of a man who has a thin gray is walking on the red carpet to approach the two prospective brides on the marriage certificate. His arrival was witnessed by all the guests whose eyes were fixed on Mr. Mahendra. Similarly, Diana was very surprised to see the arrival of her father who had never been expected.

Doctor Jeremy who is the mastermind behind the arrival of Mr. Mahendra as the guardian of the nasab just carved a knotty smile towards the man as if feeling proud of him who was willing to be persuaded to present married his daughter.

Diana could not help but show her eyes fixed on her father who would soon be closer to her. His gaze was sad and teary, whether happy or sad he felt when he saw the father who had neglected himself so bravely to meet him even at his wedding. Similarly, Nek Ira who looks not like the arrival of his former daughter-in-law.

"Uncle himself came to see your father to tell him that his daughter was getting married. When the uncle spoke with your father to be present as the guardian of your clan, your father was immediately willing because he remembered you were his favorite daughter who did not expect to get married soon. If you had come to see your father yourself, maybe he would have been more pleased and agreed without thinking of anything else." Dr. Jeremy explained.

Beloved Princess? Diana felt strange hearing the nickname. The word never came out of his father's mouth for 7 years. Does that still hold true in his father's affection? Obviously Diana found out no and definitely said that in order to make Diana calm.

Now Mr. Mahendra has arrived and directly faced his daughter who has been disappointed, hurt and abandoned. Even an apology cannot restore a girl's trust. They just stared at each other without doing any giggles other than Diana who was silent and teary.

"What's up, Diana? He's your father. Don't you miss him?" Dr Jeremy asked the question because Diana's reaction was normal.

Damian who understood the feelings of his future wife slowly placed his hand on Diana's left shoulder.

"Diana, in front of you right now is really your father. You're not dreaming. Your father's current intentions are very good to help with attending our wedding. Isn't this wish that you dream of being attended to by your parents at the wedding. You questioned my parents who were unfortunate not to come, and now you have a special person." Damian tried to understand.

Then, say back

"Although he remains your father, though his ugliness cannot be forgotten, sometimes there is a condition a child must be willing to risk his feelings just to appreciate his parents who still meritorious have made you present in the world that always reap this learning." Imbuh Damian again said all that when he himself did not have a good relationship with his father.

Diana listened carefully to the understanding of her future husband so that she thought to herself. Diana regained her senses and hesitantly hugged Mr. Mahendra very tightly while crying on his shoulder. He was confused whether to thank him for being willing to come or just wanted to be angry when it was also to his father who had the heart.

Mr. Mahendra was immediately touched. At first he was seen retaliating to return his daughter's embrace. It was seen from his hands that up and down wanted to retaliate, but it did not so and there he finally let go back to return an embrace from Diana in front of everyone.

"As her husband in a moment, now only you can make Diana understand. As her uncle, who already thinks of Diana as my own daughter, I'm sure Diana will be happy in your hands, Mr. Damian. Who does not know you in this world and I am sure there are many more bright sides of you that not many people know. And it could be that you are a loving person unlike the notion that your dark side never cares." Doctor Jeremy spoke to Damian who was only given a stiff smile in response and bowed half in honor of his thanks.

After the dramatic that happened was over and slowly Diana received her father's presence with a spacious chest. The marriage contract will be held with pleasure can be attended by Mr. Mahendra as the guardian father of the nasab which is important in a marriage to be the legal condition of both spouses and especially Diana's father is still alive. It's a pity if this opportunity is wasted by Diana who was struck by fear to not meet her father.

There is nothing wrong with this incident. It all started with a child growing up hurt by his first love!
