"Zoey's in the hospital, Pa. Now he is again in the ER." Samuel replied lethargicly.

"What?!!! Which hospital, Sam?" Zoey's father began to sound anxious to hear the news of his son who was in the hospital.

The phone connection was cut off immediately before Samuel explained more about Zoey's current condition.

Samuel slammed the phone on the floor until the screen was smashed into pieces. Leo was concerned to see the condition of his friend who was in chaos. He could only punch a punch into the hospital wall to vent his heart's irritation.

"Family patient!" a nurse shouted from the doorstep of the ER.

Samuel was upset to hear the nurse's advice. But it didn't seem to have any effect on the nurse. The proof is that he still flinch even though he has got a murderous look like Samuel. The man eventually relented and put on all the equipment the nurse had given him.

Samuel's heart suddenly stopped seeing that terrifying sight. Zoey lay closed her eyes tightly. The heart rate detector shows a very small number. This indicates that the heart is beating very weakly.

Samuel's tears flowed down the mask that covered part of his face. I hope he's not too late. He is not ready to lose the one he loves. Whatever Samuel's gonna do to get that heartbeat back.

"Please lie down here and I'll start the blood transfusion procedure soon."

This time there was no resistance from Samuel. He obeyed everything the nurse said. Samuel looked into Zoey's tightly shut eyes. He seemed to express all his sadness through that look.

Even though Zoey can't see her now, Samuel is convinced that she can feel the whispers of her heart.

Zoey let go of her embrace and turned to look for the source of the voice. The mother who first realized, then smiled while pointing her index finger to the other side of the lake.

There stood a beautiful young man in a high school uniform. She's been calling Zoey's name.

"Sam?" Zoey recognized the figure a little. He is the one who has recently given happiness to his life.

The mother then kissed her daughter's forehead and whispered a sentence that touched Zoey's innermost recesses.

"Mama loves you very much, Zoey. Always and forever…"

At once Zoey woke up and slowly opened her eyes. It blinked several times to adjust the blurred view. The first person Zoey saw was Samuel. I don't know why that guy was teary-eyed? Then Zoey also saw the Father who looked very anxious. What the hell happened?

After that Zoey also saw a doctor and several nurses beside her. The doctor slowly moved a flashlight with a small light, shining right in Zoey's eyes. Unasked, Zoey spontaneously followed the flashlight.

Then the doctor and nurse did some checks to make sure Zoey's condition was okay.

"The patient has passed the critical period. Right now he has to rest a lot. So I hope only two people are in this room." the doctor looks confused by a group of men in black clothes filling Zoey's treatment room.

The night was getting late, Samuel could no longer bear his drowsiness. He decided to lie down next to Zoey and hold the girl in his arms.
