How could he share that guy with anyone else? He was too selfish to want to have Samuel just for himself.

Samuel took off his embrace and turned to sit beside Zoey. He'll explain everything. Even though the girl won't listen. Most importantly the problem between them did not get worse.

"Cindy and I have known each other since childhood. He is a good friend, nothing more. I even looked at her like a sister. We're dating because that's what she needs. From childhood Cindy always cried every time she came home to play and at that time she would run looking for me. It continues to be so even now. Every time he has a problem, I'm the first person he's looking for. Until that time she was heartbroken after breaking up from her boyfriend. He immediately looked for me while crying and asked me to be his girlfriend. I accepted Cindy because I wanted to protect her, but I'll never open my heart to her."

Samuel finally explained everything to Zoey. But the girl did not respond in the least. He stays silent. 

They longed in silence. Introspect each other's hearts. Zoey's crying still sounds. And it broke Samuel's heart. What kind of guy he could hurt the heart of people he loves.

"We're going home now, right? You need to rest." persuaded Samuel while sweeping his kiss on Zoey's head.

Zoey bergeming. Not one bit he moved. Samuel could guess how Zoey was feeling right now. He let out a long sigh before finally grabbing the girl's hand and holding her towards the parking lot.

They entered the car and rushed out of the hospital. Both of their moods are in chaos. Samuel's dilemma had to take the decision of two equally heavy choices. Cindy who since childhood became his best friend or Zoey, the first girl who managed to make Samuel willing to risk a life.

Zoey continues to fight with her heart. He wanted Samuel only for himself. Zoey will not share. But a painful reality must be faced. There's a girl who means the same thing to Samuel. That girl is the source of this fight.

If only the girl was an actor, it would be easy for Zoey to get rid of her. But it will be another story that the girl he faced was the childhood friend of the boyfriend. Separating the two is the same as making Zoey's image very evil in Samuel's eyes. 

Cars continue to break through the city's street gridlock. It is unclear where the vehicle will go. The driver is still not able to focus his mind on the direction of the steering wheel.

"Something, honey, by the way, so I can know what's on your mind." Samuel turned his body to Zoey.

Zoey did not react. He did not know what to say to Samuel. Should he ask for a break up or ask Samuel to vote for him?

"If you want to be put on it, let me tell you." Samuel grabs Zoey's shoulder and turns the girl's body to face her.

"You see me. I'll never let you go. Whatever happens. If you ask me to choose, I will still choose you. Even if I had to destroy the friendship with Cindy. Fuck all that. He can find another friend. But you…"

Samuel paused for a moment. His eyes stared softly at Zoey. Give peace to his lover's mind. Samuel's hand slowly caressed the girl's face affectionately.

"You only have one boyfriend. Namely me. And the only person you can have is me. I love you the same. I love you the same. Understood?"

Zoey's tears are flowing again. But this time it was no longer tears of sadness. His heart trembled with great joy at all Samuel's confession. Happiness burns. Instantly he slid into Samuel's arms and clasped the man very tightly. How could Samuel know all his heart? Not even Zoey dared to reveal it.

The two people hugged each other in happy tears. Unknowingly the rain fell on their car. Wet the streets and leave coolness there.

Today Zoey learned a valuable lesson from her lover.

We must dare to defend our loved ones even if it requires great sacrifice. Because that person is more valuable than anything.
