Teacher Office…
Zoey entered the teacher's room and was greeted with a shocking sight. Some female teachers were crying as they hugged each other. The principal is also seen pacing back and forth while occasionally contacting someone with a phone on his desk. All the teachers looked panicked and anxious.
Zoey approached a male teacher who was sitting pensively in front of her desk, "What's wrong, sir? Why is everyone worried like this?"
"Oh Zoey's mother. Look ma'am, this morning there was a student of ours who was a kidnap victim."
"Huh?! Who Sir? Where does it keep going?" immediately Zoey's feelings stiffened at the brief explanation of her fellow teacher.
"I heard her name was Jasmine. According to the children's story, it happened right in front of our school gate. The boy was suddenly beaten and taken away by car. I didn't think anyone would do that. Already in front of our territory, isn't that too risky ma'am?" obviously the male teacher that Zoey knew was named Louis.
Zoey was just stunned to think of the explanation she heard. Jasmine's? It seems Zoey is no stranger to that name. If it's true that all happened in front of the school, it means that the abuser is not a random person. Although not a professional, at least the person is a trained enough person.
"Wasn't there even been one person at the time of the incident? What about the front guard?" ask Zoey full of probes.
"At that time the school was still quiet, only a few students came and there was no one in the schoolyard. The front guard is also briefing in the security control room."
Zoey paused for a moment to think. If there were no witnesses, how could this story be spread?
"If there are no witnesses, where do you know the chronology of this incident?" finally said also the question that hangs in Zoey's mind.
"There's one Zoey mom. Name's Cindy. Now the student is resting in the UKS room. He was still in shock from witnessing the incident in person."
Without a second thought Zoey rushed into the UKS room. His instincts say that something is not right with all this. A kidnapping without witnesses, but there is one person who can tell the chronology of events clearly. Was it a coincidence or was there something more dangerous than all of this? Shit! If it is true that the child in the UKS witnessed all the events, it means that the child's life is in danger!
Zoey hastened her pace even she is half-running now. No matter the stilettos that stick to his feet. In the heart of the girl cursed annoyed, why is this school building so spacious! And unfortunately the UKS room is far from the teacher's room. He must arrive at the UKS immediately before anything happens with the student.
BRAAKK…
Zoey opened the door of the UKS room violently. There was only one health worker who jumped in shock at Zoey's sudden arrival. Zoey circled her gaze across the room but she did not find a single student there.
"Who is Zoey's mom looking for?" ask Siska a health student who is interning at the school.
"I'm looking for the boy who fainted this morning. He said he was brought here,"
"Oh. That kid. He's back in class. He was picked up by his friend,"
Zoey nodded, "Alright. If you could tell what grade he is?"
"Student class XII-3 is Cindy."
"good. Thank you,"
Zoey exits the room and walks towards class XII-3 which is none other than the class she is responsible for as the homeroom teacher. Both names are familiar to his ears. How could there be such a perfect coincidence. If it was just a coincidence Zoey would soften a little on the perpetrator, but if all this was planned from the beginning Zoey promised to really torture the perpetrator without even passing a single hair.
"Can anyone explain all this crying?" zoey asked as she arranged the sound to sound authoritative. Although his heart was currently inflamed, he did not want the students to suspect his identity.
"......"
The class calmed down. No one was willing to open their mouths.
"So? Who will give me an explanation?" Zoey repeated her question this time more stressful.
Finally a student sitting in the middle bench was seen raising his hand. Zoey nodded and let the boy speak.
"Who's your name?" ask Zoey before the child begins his explanation.
"Cindy ma'am." replied the boy still sobbing.
Hhhmm. So this girl named Cindy...
"Ok Cindy's. Please explain what's going on right now."
"It's actually this." Cindy began to re-explain the terrible event she had seen this morning.
Although Zoey had actually heard the story, Zoey was curious about the version of the story from a live witness. It was not much different from what he heard. Could it be that his feeling this time was wrong?
"So you instantly fainted after seeing Jasmine being taken away from that car?" ask Zoey after Cindy ends her explanation.
Cindy was just a beard with no intention of giving an answer.
"And after you realized you immediately told the incident to the teacher?" search Zoey.
This time the answer Cindy gave was different to what Zoey expected. The child shook his head weakly as if reluctant to recall the event that traumatized him.
The deg!
So where did the teachers hear the chronology of what happened if this kid never told them?
A big question filled Zoey's head. Explain what is really going on behind this kidnapping.
Without Zoey realizing it, Samuel - a quiet student sitting at the very back of the bench - was watching closely all the attitudes of his homeroom teacher. Samuel had a feeling that Zoey was hiding something behind her cute face.
"OKs. Thats enough. Everyone calm down and get ready to start the KBM today."
"Yaaahhh." there were lazy cheers from all over the class.
"And for Cindy, you can go home if you are still shocked by the incident. I give you that license." Zoey ends her short investigation and passes out of class.
