Chapter 23 - The strange girl

Erina landed her body on the soft bed in her room. Tiredness wrestled with his body, let alone a lot of work that he had to finish all day.

First filming in White Rest, then continuing filming in the studio for other shows he handled and more.

All his energy seemed to be drained all day. But at least, today he felt calmer than yesterday.

Vansh didn't come to the office like yesterday. Maybe it was because she knew that Erina would continue to avoid him, or maybe she had a lot of work in the office. I don't know, Erina doesn't know for sure.

Other than about Vansh, what made Erina feel even better was that today she managed to contact Raefal and ask him to meet.

Tomorrow, I'm sure she'll come and see me, Erina thought as she stared at the ceiling of her room with a blushing face.

His energy seemed to be replenished after he remembered that tomorrow was a special day. He will meet a man who has already caught his attention.

Raefal was busy with his computer screen and some files he had to check. Ensure that there is not a single bit of data that is less than the contents of the file.

Silent. Not a single sound was heard in there. Except for the sound of paper in the file that occasionally opened.

His phone rang suddenly. Indicates that a notification just came in on his phone.

Raefal who was too focused, was unaware of that. He ignored his surroundings and continued to focus on the file in his hand.

Again. His voice was heard again, but he still did not care.

Ting! Ting! Ting!

Several other notifications were heard afterwards. And this time managed to make the concentration of a Raefal broke.

Raefal let out a long sigh trying to regulate his emotions in order to remain stable.

Lazily, he turned his attention away from the file in his grip on the square object that had been ringing ever since.

As soon as the screen lit up, Raefal immediately saw several consecutive messages from Erina. The woman who called him yesterday and asked to meet him, in a coercive way.

"Ugh, he again.." Raefal massaged his temple. Another thing he hates most besides distractions while at work is a woman. The most troublesome creature that ever existed on the face of the earth. Yeah, at least that's what he thought all along.

All women. Without exception. Even his mother, Miss Virendra was considered troublesome. Especially when the woman who became his mother began to treat him like a five-year-old boy.

Strange girl:

I've arrived at Black Cafe.

I'm waiting for you!

Didn't forget our appointment today, did you?

I will wait for you until you come!

Raefal just read it without any intention of retaliating. After reading it, he refocused on his files.

His phone rang indicating a call came in on his phone number.

Raefal snorted in annoyance. He was sure that the person who was trying to contact him was Erina. The woman was completely determined to meet him, and it didn't seem to be stopping until he actually managed to meet her.

Raefal grabbed his phone and immediately pressed the green button. He wanted all this to be done quickly so as not to keep in touch with Erina who had been bothering him since yesterday.
