Chapter 08: The Plan

The little girl took us to a simple house where in it only appeared a middle-aged mother lying on the bed, her body looking thin and her skin was so pale.

"Mother?"

"Mom's okay."

At a glance I know the wound is severe, for the city of the temple of the Goddess of water, why did this even happen? I asked the little girl.

"Have you ever taken your mother to the temple?"

Lena shook her head a few times.
