The air was filled with the smell of medicinal plants mixed with the fragrance of beautiful flowers on the table.
Unfortunately the smells made Jean nauseous as she had to endure the bitter taste in her tongue disappearing slowly.
In the world of origin, Marrissa used to take a bitter medicine that ended in a sweet meal or at least with a glass of water, but this time she was forced to endure the bitter taste of the medicine even without drinking water.
Jean's eyes glazed over, she contemplated how cruel the beautiful Elves before her were.
Though only this time he saw other races besides humans, he admitted that elves were beautiful and unique creatures, but why could be so damnical to him.
Jean wondered if that female Elf had a problem with humans?
The female elf grabbed the bow beside the closet, it seemed like she was going to leave?
Jean simply watched his movements without daring to ask.
"I'm going out, you don't go anywhere let alone roam the territory of my race." The female elf memorized Jean still in a cynical tone.
"Yes, I understand." Jean replied with a friendly smile, but in her heart she was already cursing, 'Didn't your eyes see I was hurt? you hot-tempered elf!'
After the female Elf left, Jean breathed a sigh of relief. It's so unpleasant one room with such a spicy-lipped person.
Jean was back in bed, she was still weak and needed rest.
As she looked at the ceiling of the room, Jean wondered who had saved her, the female Elf said that she was not her savior. Then who?
Two hours later the door reopened, a female Elf entered, but she was not alone, there was another Elf behind him and he seemed to be a male Elf judged from a very clearly prominent jakun and his field chest of lament was unlike that of a large-breasted female Elf.
The face of the male Elf was very handsome his nose was pointed, had thick eyebrows and a firm eye line. His hair was also silver-colored and glazed long.
Jean gulped, only this time did she see such a handsome man. According to him, the male Elf in front of him even exceeds the famous Hollywood actor.
The dark blue pupils of the male Elf were directed at Jean, while Jean herself was also looking at him with a look of astonishment.
The male elf approached and stopped in front of Jean, who was,
"Hey, I'm Valir. I brought you here when you fainted."
Unexpectedly Jean, the stern-faced male Elf spoke kindly to her.
"Oh, hi I'm Jean, thank you so much for saving me. I owe you one, but I don't know how to pay for it. I can only thank you." Jean thanked me sincerely.
If he hadn't saved Valir, perhaps by this time he had already become minced meat in the belly of a savage beast.
"I don't need a favor, now lie down first I'll treat you." Valir pointed at the bed.
"Valir what are you going to do? Giving him treatment with healing magic? Hey remember he's human, he's not worthy of our healing magic." The female elf in the back protested Valir's actions.
"Vedis you said you didn't want him to stay here any longer, so I treated him with healing magic. That speeds up his recovery, and he can go faster, right?" Valir explained his actions.
Jean who listened finally knew the name of the female Elf, Vedis as the word pedis, did match her spicy mouth.
But Jean was also curious, why did it seem like the two beautiful Elves wanted him to leave immediately.
Perhaps the rumors if the Elves were a race that was secluded and did not accept any race to visit their place were true.
Jean rolled her eyeballs, she became fed up with the two Elves in front of her. If they refused his presence in this place, why was he saved from the beginning? Why not just leave it. Oh, but it's a bad thing for Jean if it really happens.
Even so Jean still cooperates to lie down to be treated which she says uses healing magic.
Honestly Jean was also curious what kind of healing magic? Can it heal wounds completely?
Naturally Jean is curious because in the world of origin Marrissa there is no such thing as magic, there are only tricks of magicians to confuse the eyes of the audience.
Valir pointed one palm over Jean's injured shoulder, but his hand was not touched but was a few inches away from Jean's shoulder. Her lips seemed to be chanting in whispers, Jean did not understand what Valir said.
Jean's eyes focused on Valir's hand, from which she saw a soft, translucent green light coming out from Valir's palm.
Jean thought 'great, magic really exists in this world!'
The light was on Jean's shoulders, and as Jean felt a warm feeling from her shoulders, the warmth slowly spread throughout her body.
The warmth brought a feeling of comfort to Jean, even as her injured shoulder was being massaged.
'This is what healing magic feels like, oh it's so comfortable' Jean sat down while closing her eyes feeling comfortable.
Unfortunately the comfort lasted only a short while, Jean opened her eyes again, looking Valir had lowered his hand.
"It's over, you can open the wrap on your shoulder." Valir tells Jean that his healing magic service is over.
Jean saw Vedis leaning against the wooden wall staring at her with a face that was still uncomfortable.
She didn't care, Jean then opened the knot of cloth wrapped in her wound, she opened the dressing quickly.
It felt so great, before getting healing magic from Valir, to just lift his right hand was painful, but now it didn't hurt at all.
Jean wondered if his wound was completely healed. After the bandage was removed, Jean removed the layer of medicated acid that initially covered the wound.
Jean's smooth shoulder skin, not even a scar at all.
"Wow, my wounds are healed." Jean was amazed to see the magic with her own eyes.
"Maybe your wound looks healed, but your body is still in shock. So you need to rest for one more day, and then I'll take you back." Valir.
Jean nodded in agreement, after all there are still 3 days left to pay off the debt to the landlord.
Too bad Jean didn't know bad taste had befallen her sister.
