That morning Averyl sat at the dinner table alone, stirring up the porridge that had started to cool. The content will soon enter in the second trimester, but the relationship with Eduard increasingly stretched.
Since Alana left that day Averyl had not seen Eduard's whereabouts again, in the office there was only a reason if Averyl wanted to meet. In meetings, going out, there are important guests that cannot be disturbed and so on.
Averyl finished his glass of milk, moving from his seat leaving a porridge that was not clear in shape.
Averyl looked at himself in front of the mirror. The dress she was wearing was able to cover her stomach perfectly. He can no longer remain silent without certainty. During this time he continued to file for divorce but until now Eduard has not submitted a signed letter.
Averyl picked up a sling bag and went out to see Eduard again.
Arriving at Averyl's office was fortunate that there was no ordinary guard standing at the door of Eduard's room. Averyl entered, but there he found neither Eduard nor Simon.
Averyl still had not found the reason Eduard had changed, he tried to open the drawer of Eduard's desk. Averyl was quite surprised to see the top thick file containing reports of murder cases.
The curiosity arose, Averyl opened the first sheet of the file. But unfortunately Averyl had not had time to read it he heard Eduard's voice. Averyl returned it to the drawer and walked quickly to the sofa then sat quietly.
“How can Namira escape the investigation, he should be the suspect in the death of my mother,” Eduard snapped to Simon without realizing Averyl's whereabouts.
Averyl who heard Eduard's words just now became difficult to just swallow his saliva. Averyl's gaze met, now he could clearly see the look on Eduard's face filled with emotion.
Through the eyes of Eduard, he told Simon to take Averyl away from him. He was tired of this noise.
“My number goes home,” bargain Simon.
Averyl walked past Simon and stood right in front of Eduard's body. “Is this the reason you're acting like this to me?”
Eduard silently watched Averyl's bead that started to pool.
“Oh I understand, you treat me badly just because I'm Namira's son. I have never had a personal relationship with Namira. But you bestowed his mistake on me.”
“Bring this crazy woman away!”
Crushed already Averyl's heart heard the sentence coming out of Eduard's mouth. All this time he had been struggling to wait for Eduard to return, but it seemed that Eduard did not care anymore.
Averyl took out a folding knife which he carried with him wherever he went just in case, then handed it to Eduard's hand. “If you think I deserve to be cast for Namira, kill me!”
Averyl wiped his tears. “I'm tired,” said Averyl softly.
Eduard accepted it and looked fixedly at Averyl's bead which kept on shedding tears.
Averyl's crocodile tears couldn't touch Eduard's heart. The folding knife he opened and then directed at Averyl's neck right in the vein.
Averyl continued to pray, wishing God well. But unfortunately not, Averyl felt an incision in his neck.
Eduard walked out of the room quietly. Unlike Simon who was quite surprised to see the scene just now. He approached Averyl, extended a hand to confirm his wound.
Averyl shook Simon's hand. He walked out of Eduard's room.
The gazes of the entire Havelaar group employees were fixed on Averyl's slashed neck and spitting out fresh blood.
Averyl did not heed the astonished gazes of the people he kept walking towards the basement.
Averyl drove his car at full speed, his tears dripping but soon Averyl saw. He did not want to cry, this time the future of his fetus was more important than everything.
Although Averyl tried not to look pathetic but his heart really hurt. All dreams and hopes about a happy family welcoming a newborn baby are lost to reality.
Averyl realized he would never get Eduard's gentle gaze again. His happiness was really short, now God has taken it back.
Averyl prayed in his heart, “God I don't care if you take my happiness, but don't let the baby in my stomach feel the same pain as I feel.”
Averyl's car arrived at Eduard's residence. Averyl got out of the car. But his head felt dizzy, Averyl was silent for a moment.
Averyl tried to hold back the dizziness in his head. Averyl tried to walk into the house he had to take some important files that he had not been able to bring to the apartment.
In an instant, Averyl had stuffed into the suitcase. He came out of the room, walking in a slightly hasty step afraid if Eduard knew that he was planning to leave.
Averyl's steps came to a halt instantly, his body sculpting as his gaze met with Eduard's sharp bead.
Averyl held his breath as Eduard's hand stroked Averyl's right cheek. He did not dare to look at Eduard in the slightest.
Averyl grimaced as the wound on his neck was pressed down by Eduard. “Release Ed,” pinta Averyl in a soft tone but his voice sounds very firm.
Eduard aligned his face with Averyl's. “You will never be able to run away from me, before Namira breaks in my hand! Or you will be crushed in my hands.” Eduard showed his grin.
“I'm sorry to have loved a man like you who doesn't have the slightest heart. Even you are no different than Namira is a killer. A savage man like you doesn't deserve to live!” Averyl tried not to be afraid of Eduard even though his clenched hands started to sweat.
“What did you say?” Jerk Eduard.
Averyl came closer to Eduard's ear. “Bizarre men!”
Eduard pushed Averyl's body into a loss of balance and his stomach hit the corner of the closet.
Averyl felt his stomach ache, he walked over to Eduard to pick up his suitcase.
Arsya who had just come was shocked when she saw Eduard hit Averyl's head with a suitcase. “Eduard you are crazy!” shouted Arsya. He walked over to Averyl's body which had fallen to the floor unconscious.
