When the phone is connected Nik immediately say hello, “Happy day Miss.”
“Siang, Nik.”
“Iya Miss,” sahut Nik.
Alana swallows her saliva, “I want to meet you right now.” Alana waits for Nik's answer, as the man seems to be thinking.
“Good Miss.”
“I send you the location, we meet there now.” Alana hung up without waiting for Nik to answer.
In his room Nik smiled at Alana's authoritative tone and dared to rule it without hesitation. “It looks like this time Master won't be easy to get you, Miss,” muttered Nik.
Alana came out of the toilet cubicle, she walked towards the sink to wash her chaotic-looking face. Not wanting her curiosity to drag on for too long, she walked out of the toilet. The place that was promised to meet with Nik was very close, enough to cross the road Alana had reached there.
Alana ordered two drinks for him and Nik. Not for how long Nik seemed to be walking closer to Alana's desk, she slightly bent her body to pay respects to Alana.
“Sit!”
“Thank you Miss.” Nik sat in the chair opposite Alana. He notices Alana's calm face, until Nik can't read Alana's mind.
Alana stared at Nik's face sharply, “I know you've lied to me, now I need an explanation.”
Nik already knew where their conversation was headed. “I don't understand what Miss means,” said Nik. He deliberately provoked Alana's patience.
“You think I don't know, if you've been filing my divorce papers you haven't submitted.” Alana still showed her calm face, although her emotions were a little sticking out seeing the look of Nik who seemed to know nothing.
For the first time Alana saw Nik's smiling face, not a sincere or mocking smile. For sure Alana did not know the meaning of the smile that Nik gave her for her words.
“I did not take care of the divorce papers and the divorce filing was still neatly stored in my hands.”
“Miss Betul, Sir do not know this problem.”
Alana's calm and flat face turned into a surprised face. But quickly he changed his surprised expression, “Why?”
“What do I need to answer? Looks like Miss already knows the answer.”
“Reply reply! Don't beat around the bush.”
“Alright I will answer it.”
Alana waits for Nik who seems to be thinking, “Quick Nik!”
“You are very impatient Miss... I did not deliberately file the divorce papers, because at that time I knew you already loved Miss.” Nik still remembers how messed up Jordan was after Alana filed the divorce papers.
“Only that?” ask Alana. He was not satisfied with Nik's response.
“I got information if Miss went to Italy with Lord Arvan. One week into Miss's departure, sir seems strange. Master has no appetite, just like Miss when in the hospital.”
Alana tried to remember the incident that Nik meant, “You mean before when I visited Jordan?” ask Alana to make sure.
“Iya right Miss. Every Master eats, everything that goes into his stomach comes out back.”
“Vomit?”
Niko gave a small nod, “Master only underestimated the problem, because after getting out of the hospital you did not want to eat. Only the liquid from the infusion became energy for his body. Until the company began to falter, and almost went bankrupt. Master just got up and wants to eat again even though all the food that goes into his stomach will come back out.”
Alana listened to every word Nik carefully, “What disease is Jordan experiencing?” ask Alana curiously.
