Gisel's body was still thrashing. He wanted to get away from Marcus. But it didn't work. Marcus' energy is huge. Pretty big.

But unfortunately, the bodyguard who came with Brian quickly pulled Marcus who wanted to hurt Gisel. Marcus surprised. Not yet he realized from his shock, his face had gotten a raw bogem from Brian's bodyguard.

"Akk!! Goddamnit!" Marcus tried to retaliate. But what power, Marcus is not good at fighting. As a result he could only stagger back to the ground.

"Aah!" pekik Gisel was shocked. He was shocked to see Marcus being suddenly beaten by people in black suits.

Who're they? gisel asked in his heart.

Ah, it doesn't matter! He must save himself first! Gisel leaves Marcus being beaten by people he doesn't know. He did not try to stop or break up. He was today quite shocked by Marcus' attitude.

Gisel wants to leave the parking lot, then his eyes see Brian who is standing not far from Gisel and...who is the woman next to Brian? Like I've seen it. But who is it? Forget to remember. Ah yes! Brian's Friend. Edith! Why is he here?

"Brian!" call Gisel. Gisel ran over to Brian.

"Gisel" said Brian then left Edith still standing there.

Brian hugged Gisel affectionately, making Edith burn jealous at the scene.

"Are you okay?" brian asked, looking at Gisel's pale face.

"I'm okay. You how? Why are you here?" gisel asked a little confused.

"That's my guy." point Brian at the guy in the black suit who's finished beating Marcus.

Gisel felt grateful, Brian came to help himself, although he also did not expect Brian would come to save himself.

"Thank you for saving me, Brian!" said Gisel breathing a sigh of relief. Brian hugged Gisel.

Gisel's eyes were fixed on Edith who was standing still next to the black SUV.

"Isn't he your friend in college?" ask Gisel.

Brian took off his embrace and nodded.

"Looks like we should talk to Edith."

Gisel did not understand what was going on. But he's sure something's wrong here. Brian's gaze was full of anger and hatred for Edith.

"Let's talk" Brian said.

Edith who was already wet was unable to dodge anymore. He followed the footsteps of Brian and Gisel.

Gisel looked at Edith worriedly. Instead, Edith looked at Gisel hatefully.

Gisel placed Brian and Edith's order on the cafe table. The table is small. Just load the coffee that has been ordered. Gisel bought a latte and sipped it slowly.

"Why did you do that?" ask Brian without saying anything.

Edith was silent.

"Do what?" gisel asked not to understand.

"Marcus. He set you up by bringing Marcus here. Since your apartment has already moved, Marcus can't find you. Marcus will automatically find you in the store" Brian said.

"Is that so, Edith?" gisel asked not to believe that any woman so evil wanted to play tricks on him.

Edith smiled.

"Why did you get caught so quickly? Not fun." said Edith grinning.

"What did you say?" I think Brian is getting angry. Not apologizing for trapping others, instead laughing so casually.

Gisel held onto Brian's hand to avoid getting emotional.

"Why are you doing this? Did I have anything wrong until you did this to me?" gisel asked in disappointment at Edith.

"Don't pretend to be innocent!" said Edith. It was disgusted to see Gisel holding Brian's hand like that.

"You're the only woman who's ever worked at a nightclub, how can Brian like you so much than I am who obviously comes from a good family?"

"I told you, Gisel is not what you think!" sahut Brian's.

"Bri, calm down." said Gisel.

"I'm going out. You guys can talk. It feels like seeing you makes me ride a black hole!" brian said to get out of his seat. After Brian left, Gisel continued to talk to Edith.

"Don't you do something wrong?" gisel asked with great patience.

"From the beginning I liked Brian! I am a suitable partner for him. Starting from caste, job education, we are equal! Then came you who have not known Brian for a long time and want to seize my position as easy as that?" edith was upset, though,

Gisel suppressed his anger.

"Maybe my feelings aren't as big as yours. But I love him with all my heart. Don't you think I'm taking a chance, Edith. I've loved it ever since he used a bicycle as his vehicle. It's not the car you're looking at right now" Gisel said. Edith was stunned to hear Gisel's explanation.

"I appreciate you as Brian's best friend. Can't you appreciate me as her lover?"

Edith did not answer him, she just looked at Gisel with a sharp look.

"Little woman!" aspersons Edith. Then he got up from his seat and left Gisel.  Edith fucked up her plan in a mess because of Brian. Though one more step he can make Brian turn away from Gisel.

But now, is there still that opportunity? Edith herself was not sure. He left the cafe haughtily and without turning back to Gisel and Brian.

Brian went back inside the cafe and hugged Gisel.

"I didn't expect Edith to go that far to harm you" Brian said.

"That's it. She just couldn't accept seeing me get you as my lover."

Actually, Gisel's heart was very sick with every word Edith said. Ja. Gisel knew exactly that his status could never be on par with Brian's. Therefore, he tried to work without relying on money from Brian.

"I'll have people watching you."

"No need. I'll call you right away if anything happens to me" Gisel said.

"I don't rest easy if one day Marcus comes here again" Brian said.

"I promise I'll call you. Yea? Don't make me feel uncomfortable being watched?" gisel Pinta.

Brian relented. He could not impose his will on his future wife.

"alright. But you have to promise to call me whatever the circumstances. Okay?"

"okay."

Brian kissed Gisel's forehead with his love.

Meanwhile, Marcus, who was waiting for Edith in the parking lot, approached Edith with a bruised face.

"I'm asking for my pay" Marcus said.

In a fit of annoyance, Edith slapped Marcus in the face.

"Bastard, your work is not so bad you still dare to ask for payment!" edith was angry.

"There's someone who suddenly beat me up! I can what? Fighting has never been! Besides you're asking me to make Gisel regret it, I think he's sorry now!" said Marcus.

"Brian comes and saves Gisel. And our plan failed."

"I think you're good at this, so I agreed to follow your plan. It turns out you failed huh" Marcus said with a grin.

"You want to go back to jail?" edith was upset.

"Ah yeah, no-no. I won't say anything anymore."

Edith picked up the thick envelope she had prepared in advance on the dashboard of her car and threw the money at Marcus.

"Take that! Basic bod*h!" edith was upset. Marcus took the money with pleasure. He doesn't care if Edith swears about him. He just wants money from Edith. The fragrant and very thick money made Marcus go crazy.

Edith drove off her car and left Marcus alone.
