Marrying a Classmate

Marrying a Classmate
Ch. 70: Beyond the Conjecture

Daniel's car stopped just as Azan Isya was reverberating. The mixed-blooded man immediately descended and turned himself back to open the door.

Mr. Tirta lowered his legs after the door opened wide. Then, he stood perfectly beside the car. His two eyes looked around, where a row of rented doors were clearly plastered before his eyes. He let out a heavy sigh when he saw the form where the late mother of Myria lived.

“Tuan.” Daniel was astonished. Mr. Tirta's attitude seemed unusual in his eyes. The man who used to be firm and had a strong stance, now looked weak helpless in Daniel's eyes. “Are you uncomfortable here?”

“No, Dan.” Folded lips. Mr. Tirta then patted his assistant's shoulder. “Come, find who has this rented house or we ask the residents first.”

“Good, Mr.”

The two men stepped towards the first rented door. There happened to be some people chatting casually while enjoying the food. As Mr. Tirta and Daniel got closer, the men halted the conversation and moved their eyes.

“Goodnight, Mr and Mrs.” Daniel opens his voice. He paused for a moment as the gazes of people simultaneously pointed at him.

“Iya, Sir . Can we help.” One man in a green shirt said. He was the closest to Daniel.

“Look, my boss is looking for someone. Her name is Kinara Iswari. Anyone know?”

Conditions suddenly quiet for a moment. Instead of answering, the people in front of Daniel just throw one another look and observe Daniel and Mr. Tirta alternately. The two men who were observed were left feeling uneasy.

“Master, Mistress, does anyone know?” daniel said with great firmness. He asked what, but what people responded. That made his patience a little more difficult.

“Oh, briefly.” Inexhaustible, Daniel changed to reach into his pocket and took out his wallet. The money sheet was plastered in plain sight and thrust on the people earlier. Mr. Tirta who was behind smiled cynically. He hates to see that kind of thing.

“Heh, everyone does not know themselves. Crazy money all.” The man is inward. For Mr. Tirta, in this world humans are busy deifying money. There is no such thing as sincerity.

“Please take this money for those of you who tell about the whereabouts of a woman named Kinara Iswari earlier.”

No one took money from Daniel. People just fell silent until one of them finally cleared his throat. The man who had said hello, now positioned himself more calmly.

“Master, Ibu Kinara used to live here. But ...” The man in the contract hesitated to convey. He looked at the other neighbors again.

“But the person you asked died a few months ago,” said the man who rented the contract earlier.

Daniel's face changed. He was a bit surprised, but remembered his boss and looked back to make a decision. Not yet had time to talk, Daniel was surprised by the condition of Mr. Tirta who held his head and groped the car to stay standing.

“Master!” Daniel immediately took his boss. Assisted by the rented occupants to open the car door, the man sat Mr. Tirta on the back bench. He immediately went ahead to get the medicine.

“Slow down, Sir,” Daniel said as he opened the mineral water bottle seal. He faithfully waited for his boss to calm down and ease his pain.

“Do we need to see a doctor, Mister?” Worried that anything would happen to Mr. Tirta, Daniel advised. The matter of finding a woman named Kinara, can be continued tomorrow.

“No, Dan. I'm it's okay. Ask those guys. Where is Kinara's tomb, then how is his daughter's fate.”

“Good.” Daniel's head came out of the car. His body straightened back then approached the people who were still on standby around.

At Mr. Tirta's request, Daniel dug up the information. About 20 minutes into the conversation, the man had just returned to the car.

“How?” Mr. Tirta asked from behind. His condition has improved from before.

“His daughter who was named Myria turned out to be expelled from the owner of this contract because she could not afford to pay, Sir. And after that, no one knows where the girl lives.”

Mr. Tirta let out a long breath. He had to be patient and wait for a miracle in order to meet Myria again.

“Can Kinara funeral address?”

“Look in the tomb of Islam near here, sir. Do you want to go there?”

From the rearview reflection on the wheel, Daniel saw Mr. Tirta shaking his head. The boss stared at the outside window with his body leaning.

“We're home, Dan. I'll come to the girl's school when the semester break is over.”
