Marriage Takes Happy

Marriage Takes Happy
Episodes *59

After a long time of crossing the highway. Finally, the car that Kania was riding up to his father's house.

As before, there was no welcome for Kania's arrival back to this house. Kania did not want to think about that. For him, there is or is not a welcome, it will be the same. It hurts both in the end.

He walked quickly to the door of the house after Mr. Dayat opened the car door. Before he got off, he asked Mr. Dayat to wait in the car. Because Kania does not want Mr. Dayat to come and help him later. Kania is determined to solve his own problems until the end of today.

Kania had not been able to knock on the door of the house, the door had even been opened by her stepmother. With a look of disdain, Salma looked towards Kania who was standing before her.

"Finally, you came too." Salma spoke in a soft tone with a look of hate.

However, a few seconds later, that hateful gaze had suddenly turned happy.

"Darling, Kania, you came here again, son?"

This time, the words Salma spoke sounded so happy with a loud voice that one house could almost hear. Kania did not want to mince words again this time. Since he knew, it was just a charade that would expose him to trouble again later.

"Where's papa? I want to meet him now."

"I'm here" said Burhan who had just appeared from behind.

"Oh, if so, let's just talk."

"Yes." Yeah." Burhan answered briefly as he headed towards the living room.

Kania followed Burhan's footsteps from behind. Disappointed face of Salma. He was disappointed because he did not succeed in acting to corner Kania again.

Samapi on the living room sofa, Burhan immediately spoke up without any pleasantries to let Kania sit first.

"We just talk to the subject of the reason I asked you to come to my house. I'm sure you already know why, don't you?"

Kania smiled miris. Because the treatment of his father who looks so do not like to be in a room with him when there is a need with him. He took a deep breath to neutralize the pain in the heart. Although the treatment he had often received, but still felt pain.

"Don't you let me sit first?" asked Kania after the pain he managed to master.

"Please." His father spoke with a reluctant tone. It would seem that he was willing because he had to.

Kania sat down slowly. "Thank you."

"Alright, we immediately talk to the subject only. The reason I asked you to come, of course you already know."

Kania was silent. Because he refused to answer. After all Kania knows, answer or not, the fall will be the same.

"Since you've become the son-in-law of the richest family in town, then I'm sure, you wouldn't mind handing over the family property to me, would you?" Burhan spoke frankly because he did not want to waste too much time with Kania.

"As papa wants. I'm going to hand the treasure over to papa now. But on condition, leave my mama's belongings to me."

Sick but not bleeding. That's what Kania feels right now. Used stuff? Family treasure? Words he should not have received, given his current status.

But no, that's exactly what happened. He is not a man born because he is wanted by his father. Rather, it was a mistake that his father regretted.

His father asked Salma to take a letter of transfer of inheritance for Kania to sign, also asking Salma to bring the used items belonging to Kania's mother out. While waiting for Salma to carry out the task he gave, Kania stared intently at her papa with a bitter feeling.

"Pa, is papa really not expecting me anymore right now?"

One question that Kania believes does not need to be asked, but instead comes out just like that because in Kania's heart is still stored a speck of hope. Hope will be a little affection as papa that his father save for him.

"Do you need to ask me that? I'm sure you know the answer. Because up until now, you were a mistake that I could never accept his presence. It wasn't me who wanted to hate you, but every time I remembered you, I remembered your sly mama's face."

Pain, pain, and eventually numbness. That's what Kania feels right now. Most of the pain of those words, until he died he could not feel any more pain because his heart was numb.

No tears were shed as they were often hurt. There is only a smile as a representation of a sick heart.

"Well then, starting from this second, we will never be in touch again" Kania said with a smile.

"That's better," Burhan said leisurely without a burden.

Salma who heard those words smiled happily. His heart laughed triumphantly as he had already managed to destroy the relationship of son and father.

Salma walked in slow steps, as if she did not know what had happened. He had a suitcase and a letter in his hand. "This is what you asked for" Salma said, handing over what he had brought.

"Thank you very much, Ma." Burhan spoke very softly. The spectacle that often torments inner Kania during her stay in this house. Harmonious family treatment that scratches the heart.

Not wanting to linger in this house again, Kania interrupted quickly. "Where's the letter I need to sign? I still have an important event for me to attend."

"Geez baby, you look so busy right now. Shouldn't you rest in this house? Later in the afternoon just came home," said Salma as usual running his acting.

"Sorry mom, I can't." Kania spoke casually like never before. It makes Salma surprised not dumbass. His face turned nervous.

'Wh-what? What the hell just happened? Did I not hear wrong?' salma asked inwardly as she stared intently at Kania.

Kania pretended not to see the sharp gaze that Salma gave. He was busy looking at the letter his father had just given.

After reading the entire contents of the estate transfer letter, Kania immediately dropped her signature. Of course, after he confirmed the contents of the suitcase that Salma brought first. He did not want to be fooled again this time.

For the name of the beneficiary of the inheritance he signed just now, he did not want to bother anymore. Whoever is the recipient of this inheritance is no longer important to Kania. Most importantly, the belongings of his mother he had already obtained.

"I have given away a treasure that should not belong to me to the rightful. That way, I hope, there is no problem now," Kania said as she got up from her seat.
