Instead of being scared and feeling guilty, Brian was getting happier and more eager to tease Kania. As for Kania himself, he immediately thought of the idea to be free from Brian's temptation.

Kania also found the right way so that he could be free from the temptation. That is, by diverting their subject matter at the beginning.

"Brian, don't be too much of a whim. Didn't I want to ask you something at first. Please do not divert our subject" said Kania feigned annoyance.

"Lho, I blame me anyway. I didn't switch the conversation at all. Yeah, tell me what you want to ask me. I'll answer as honestly as possible" Brian said with a smile.

A little reluctantly, Kania tries to get her voice out so she can ask Brian. "I wonder why you seem to dislike Sintya so much. Aren't you cousins? Shouldn't it be, cousins are close to each other, like cousins in general."

Brian did not answer. He turned his gaze from Kania to look straight ahead. "I don't like his attitude. Somehow, I'm getting a little dislike for him when papa chooses to match him up with me, and he agrees to be a match."

"That's all?" kania asked in disbelief.

"Well, that's all."

Kania speechless. His feelings said that that was not the reason Brian hated Sintya, but, there was another reason. But unfortunately, he couldn't guess what the real cause was, and Brian didn't want to tell me the real cause.

Brian turned to look back at Kania.

"Kania, you better rest now. Because tomorrow, you're going to face something that might require extra patience."

"Oh, yes." Kania spoke briefly. Then, lie down to Brian.

'Sorry Kania, I can't tell you the truth. For that reason there is no evidence. Hence, I can't tell you that reason right now, ' Brian said inwardly as he looked at Kania's back.

In his room, Sintya was talking about what had happened to Davidson. He contacted Davidson after returning to his room.

"Om has to come and see for yourself what Brian's attitude is to me, um. Brian is becoming more and more. He forgets me even more after having a wife" Sintya said in tears. Surely, crying with water said the crocodile.

"I'm sorry, Sintya. This is the most regrettable mistake. Om shouldn't have brought that woman into Brian's life."

"Nasi is already porridge, David. Now, all you can do is separate them and quickly marry me to Brian's brother."

"Yes, I know baby. But you have to be patient. It's not that easy to solve this problem. We need Syntya's time."

"What is it about? Sinta has been patient for a long time. Since when did you know. Sintya must be patient again now. Does Sintya have to be patient until Brian has a daughter with that girl, hm?"

"Sabar Sinty. Take it easy, I'm sure that will never happen. Because I know how Brian. Om sure that their marriage was just a charade."

"Om always said be patient with me. Om doesn't know how I feel. Do you want me to be sad and disappointed again and again? Have you forgotten your promise to me now? Do I have to repeat that promise to remember?"

"Yes already that, if om still remember it, I want om keep that promise as soon as possible. Don't make me wait too long."

"Yes, baby, yeah. I'll keep that promise later. I promise, as soon as possible."

Sintya smiled grinning after the phone connection was cut off. He stared at the phone screen with a flat gaze, then widened the smile on his lips.

"Promise? He he - he."

Sintya chuckled as she continued to think about what Davidson had just said. Suddenly, Sintya's mind drifted backwards twelve years ago. The moment where all that happened.

Twelve years ago. When Sintya was just eight years old, Brian and his mother left for a vacation. As for Davidson, he had to stay because of the amount of work he had to complete.

Unfortunately, two days after the departure of Brian and his mother, Davidson suddenly had a high fever until unconscious for several days. Davidson, who was abandoned by the family, desperately needed someone other than a maid who worked at her home to care for and accompany her who was sick.

It was then that a little girl appeared as a savior ready to accompany and serve, filling the void of Davidson's days. Davidson felt indebted to the little girl, and promised to make the girl happy as well as match the girl with her son Brian after adulthood.

The memory disappeared with a smile that widened on Sintya's lips. Sintya smiled at Davidson's stupidity. Laughing at what Brian's father hadn't known.

Actually, the little girl who was always there and always accompanied Davidson at that time was not Sintya. Except, Ratna. Sintya's adoptive brother who is now gone.

Hearing that Davidson wanted to match Brian with the girl who accompanied him when he needed to, Sintya encouraged his mother to appear as the girl by supplying the story of the foster sister named Ratna. Poor Ratna, could do nothing but surrender and relented. He kept the secret closed until he was gone.

Brian woke up as he felt something heavy was piercing his chest. Heavily, he opened his eyes and saw, a person's hair was blocking his current gaze.

That's when Brian realized, that the body of Kania's head was on top of his chest. Brian smiled happily. Although he felt a little lost, but his heart was happy. He let Kania's head remain on his chest.

A few minutes later, the sound of the adhan came from Kania's cell phone. Lazily, Kania opened her eyes because of the call of the Adhan.

He blinked his eyes to gather all the consciousness that was still scattered. When his consciousness was perfectly gathered, he was so shocked by what he had done.

Quickly, Kania wants to get up from her bed to get away from Brian. Honey, a thousand times baby. His long hair got stuck in the back of Brian's pajamas. As a result, he fell back and kissed Brian's field chest tightly.

"uh." Kania spoke while stroking his head due to pain.

Brian smiled and could not help but move. He who initially pretended to be asleep, now laughed until his body moved.
