Miss Allie observed Dario's appearance from top to bottom. His eyes were squinted with a bit of cynicism.
Julie didn't mention the reason for coming here. She just said she wanted to live a quiet life and give birth to her baby. But Miss Allie suspected that Julie's husband was throwing a tantrum or something so she ran away.
"I'd like to see Julie, Madam." Dario looked at Miss Allie's face expectantly.
"Julie who?"
"Julicia Sanders, my wife," answered Dario.
Miss Allie sipped her tea. He also allowed Dario to drink.
Dario tasted it a little to appreciate the offer. He really doesn't like tea.
Miss Allie looked back at him. Dario inevitably also looked towards him. Behind Miss Allie sat, the wide glass window showing a colorful flower garden and the child playing and running around happily.
"Julie is not here" Miss Allie replied briefly.
"I'm serious, ma'am," Dario said solemnly.
"Yes it's true she's not here" Miss Allie said no less seriously.
"The boy said Julie was here" Dario said. He's getting impatient.
"Indeed yesterday he was here. Now she's gone again" said Miss Allie.
Dario's heart started beating fast. Sweaty hands. Where else did Julie take her trail this time?
"Where is he going, ma'am?" dario asked once more impatiently.
"I don't know where. She just stopped here yesterday" Miss Allie said.
Dario bowed limp.
"Didn't he say anything to you, ma'am?" ask Dario again.
"No. He just wants to leave. If you think I'm lying, just keep an eye on me here or search all these places. Julie's not here" Miss Allie said firmly.
Dario was speechless. Hope extinct. He then left to return to Valex.
While crossing the spacious courtyard, Dario saw the adorable figure of the little boy.
"Camelia," called Dario as he ran towards the girl.
Dario knelt in front of Camelia to keep her position parallel.
"Hi, pretty. You know where Julie went?" dario asked in a soft tone of voice.
"Julie said she'd go see the baby's Papa. He's going home. Isn't that you?" camelia said confusedly.
Dario fell silent. The baby's father is himself. So Julie's back in Suresh?
"Camelia, you know what Julie went up to?" ask Dario again.
"The taxi ride is yellow" Camelia said.
Dario stroked the girl's hair and went back to his car.
All the way from Green Valley to Valex, Dario was unsettled. Heart's broken.
Where Julie left him again this time. No doubt that woman is so smart.
Julie knows the contents of the secret documents her father left behind. Therefore the mother went away because she knew all the rottenness of the upper class and dirty business.
Dario could understand that Julie was scared. But how could he be left without any message. He's not just worried about the content. But Dario is worried about Julie whom he takes for granted as his beloved wife.
If Camelia says Julie went to her house, is it possible that she went back to the apartment? Ah, it doesn't feel possible. If Julie's right to return to the apartment, Roy or Miss Emily will preach it immediately.
If Julie really wanted to disappear, she wouldn't go back to the foster home where Antena lived. Too easy to find. After all, Dario had already sent people to watch over Athena secretly. And there's no report.
Dario was feeling restless. He did not focus on driving until the car almost slipped to the side of the road divider.
Dario was really upset. What should he do now?
Her mother sent Grace another message that she threatened to sell her Axton stock if she didn't return soon.
Meanwhile, Shan and Detective Andrew's investigation is getting to a bright spot.
He also had to go to Dante Bank to solve the puzzle of the contents of his Papa's safe.
How could he focus on doing all these things if Julie disappeared from him?
Dario saw his phone. The new cell phone he bought to get away with and inform Grace and Shan. She didn't think Julie was that smart either.
Dario then took Julie's phone which he left behind. He saw Julie's phone wallpaper.
Two pairs of little hands and Mama's hand. Maybe it was an image he found on the internet or something.
Yes, there are only two babies and one mother. No Papa's hand.
Did Julie show it? Does Julie want to throw it away?
Didn't Julie promise to let her meet her daughters? And he promised to make them call him "papa".
Without realizing it Dario was crying. Yes, he felt so wasted and extinct.
For years he gave up on his condition that was declared barren. For years he had always been envious of seeing a man holding or holding his son's hand.
She has a child in Julie's womb. Even though he regretted his actions. He no longer drank alcohol. The alcohol makes him desecrate Julie and makes the poor girl pregnant.
Dario thought about calling Anna Tomya's doctor.
"Cum, Ann. Julie's missing. I've been looking for him in despair." Dario said in a pitiful tone.
Doctor Anna sat in her practice room chair with a face no less bent. He also feels stressed.
He regretted having exposed Dario's secret. But he has a choice. Now she has a big fight with her husband, Vallen Willson because of the secret that Mrs Sanio has uncovered. He was so angry to learn of the fact that Vallen abused his position.
"Ann, can you tell us what the baby was supposed to be born?"
"The end of autumn, or the beginning of winter. Depends on the baby and his mother. He had to have a special operation" Anna's doctor said.
"You have a big name in your field. Can all the labor hospitals provide information about Julie?" dario asked in despair.
Anna's doctor didn't answer anything. Of course it's hard. Patient information is confidential. No matter how much power and money we have, there are still things that we cannot control all.
"I'm sure he didn't go far from Suresh. He can't even get off the island? Airplane flights with pregnant women must get special permission, right?" Dario was like asking the wind. Anna's doctor didn't answer anything.
Silent. There was only the sound of Dario's breathing appearing angry and furious. He was sad to be unhelpful.
"Dario, anything can happen. He can go wherever he wants. It's getting more sophisticated now. Even small rural birthing hospitals can handle twin births. If Julie's missing, it means she wants to leave."
"But, Ann..."
"Dario, don't be selfish. I know your Mama's power. He was so cruel and scary to Julie. If you were in his position, what would you do? Surrender yourself to him like a fool? Julie just wanted to protect her baby" says Anna's doctor.
Doctor Anna is the most realistic person. There was no point in giving Dario words of comfort and such. Julie has made the right move.
There was no sound on the phone call other than Dario's sobs.
"Dario, she'll come back to you if she really wants you" Anna's doctor said before hanging up.
Dario sniffles. He hit the dashboard of the car and the steering wheel with burning anger and sadness.
In front of him, the cows that were busy grazing looked to raise their heads towards the windshield of the car.
Perhaps they were also surprised because there was a long and repeated honking sound. Dario was already crazy about hitting whatever was in front of him. Her grief was almost the same when she lost her Papa first.
Julie is just as valuable to him.
