Mama'S Twin

Mama'S Twin
Where's Julie

Dario went into his old house. Shan and Andrew followed.

Andrew was a bit limp when walking. The injury seemed permanent. Not because of a fight or anything like that. He received the injury while serving in the presidential special forces.

Andrew's face had a scar and stitches on the corner of his right lip. Of course with the sophistication of medicine and medical aesthetics, it could be that the wound is back smooth.

But what does it mean to be a face like Andrew. He doesn't need. All he needs is the pleasure of life and freedom. Isn't the more sinister his face, the better his looks and prowess will be?

They're sitting in Papa Dario's study. One more chair dragged Shan from the living room.

"How can I open the screen of a locked phone with a code number?" ask Dario.

Andrew asked for Julie's phone. He then took out a device from the bag. There's a small cable that connects the device. Andrew was like asking for code and using a wiretap system.

About two minutes later, the phone was open. Andrew handed the phone to Dario.

"The code is 115511" Andrew told Dario.

Dario opened the message and it was empty. The phone call had no other number than his name.

In short, there was nothing Dario could take from the phone.

"Can I search for a history of deleted messages or calls?" ask Dario.

Andrew asked for the phone again. He fiddles.

"This is the latest phone from Texx. Indeed the system is sophisticated, can not be broken into. Yeah, maybe I'm the one who's never taken it. Are there any other clues besides the phone being used?" detective Andrew asked while returning the phone to Dario.

"Nothing," said Dario limply.

"Can the taxi companies around here we investigate and we ask for the data? Maybe around the hour that Miss Julie left," Shan asked.

"I have checked. There are 5 active taxi companies operating in Valex." Dario answered.

"It could not be a taxi. Maybe someone picked him up? Is possible?" Detective Andrew started thinking the other way.

"Maybe. But the only person closest to Julie is Athena. And he's in Suresh. My people were watching him and there was no sign or hint of anything suspicious," Dario said confidently.

All quiet.

"What about passenger data at Valex station? Access is pretty close from here." Andrew again asked.

"I've called even I bribed many of his officers to get the data out. There was no Julie's name there," answered Dario so confidently.

Back silence.

Dario suddenly remembered the words of Uncle Michael and Aunt Joan. There was a taxi they recognized that afternoon passing by and greeting Aunt Joan. Could it?

"Shan, call Aunt Joan" Dario said.

Shan rushed out of the room. He was looking for the old aunt.

Detektf Andrew looked around the study. His style is straightforward and spontaneous. It also tends to be relaxed and not serious. It just looks outside. Originally, he was so agile and reliable.

"Yes, sir," said Aunt Joan as soon as she entered the room.

"Auntie, yesterday Auntie said there was a taxi passing by while you were outside and mowing the lawn. Right?" ask Dario.

"Yes, Sir. It was not long before Master came and told her that Miss Julie was missing."

"Auntie said she knew the driver?" ask Dario again.

"Yes, Sir. Carl worked at Yellow Taxi for many years. I subscribed to his cab these past two years."

"could. I'm gonna call her" Aunt Joan said and left.

The three of them went back to negotiating.

"What's Miss Julie like? I mean not his character. You said that and I already know. Is this about a place he might be headed or something? His family?" ask Detective Andrew.

"Julie has no family. He's been at the orphanage since he was a baby" Dario explained.

"Could he have gone back to where he came from?" ask Detective Andrew again.

Dario fell silent. Yeah, it might be. She remembers Julie running away to Antena's foster home. And Julie also once said that her goal was to raise children as hard as it seems in the cool and peaceful countryside. But where is the village? He forget.

Dario called Anthena immediately.

"Yes, Dario. How Julie," replied Athena.

"There's no clue yet. Athena, do you know where the Foster House where Julie grew up as a child?" ask Dario.

Athena was silent for a moment. He knew Dario must be smart and this kind of question would definitely come up. Julie told him to lie.

"Yes, of course. We grew up in Amberstone" replied Athena.

Phone's closed. Yeah, one more clue. A Foster House in Amberstone.

"Shan, get your men to Amberstone" Dario said.

***

Carl, the cab driver, came shortly after Aunt Joan called him.

Dario was standing by the window. Shan and Andrew manage it.

"So, sir, there's a woman who disappeared from this house. Probably between 1-4 p.m. Did you deliver someone around here yesterday?" ask Detective Andrew.

"Yesterday? Yeah, about 2 o'clock maybe. There are foreign women. I saw him for the first time around here. She's pregnant" Carl said.

Hearing the words of the big pregnant, Dario then walked quickly towards them. Yes, a clue has been found.

"Hair's a bit blond? His eyes are narrow, right? What else do you remember, sir?" ask Dario impatiently.

"Eitherway. Ah, the nail polish is pink. I accidentally saw her while helping her lift her suitcase onto the train" he said later.

Exactly, banar once. Dario squinted his eyes. "Sir, I checked the passenger data that day. There's no name for him. All passengers who boarded should have their identities on the scanner on the train" Dario said.

Carl shakes. "That lady looks very hasty. She said her identity card was left behind and she had to take the train as soon as possible because her husband was sick. The train attendant felt pity and let him in."

Yeah, maybe it was Julie. He was clearly lying to be untraceable. He is no less intelligent.

"Where is the direction of the train?" ask Dario.

Carl seemed to think and remember.

"On line 3. The lady said she had to go to Dallas. The train stops at the central station." Carl explained.

Shan, Dario and Andrew nodded. It's been decided where they're going to find Julie.

Carl the taxi driver left with a wad of money. He smiled incessantly. He did not expect, thanks to helping the pregnant lady, he got a lot of money.

Yes, the information Julie gave was of course a lie. He said he was going to Dallas, but he could have gone down in Green Valley.

Dario ate his bait. He's headed in the wrong direction.
