S2 Chapter 17

A bright week. The sunlight is shining bright. The morning dust that is attached to the leaves of the tree has dried up. Serena opened her eyes slowly. He saw Daniel's hand encircling his body. Daniel's breath felt so close to him. Serena sleeps in Daniel's arms.

Serena gently rubbed Daniel's handsome face. He smiled happily, as he watched Daniel sleep so quietly. Slowly, he moved Daniel's hand onto the bed. He moved slowly, to get out of bed.

Serena opened the blanket, which had covered her body. Lowering his feet from the bed. He turned his body to look at the face of Daniel who was still asleep.

“Darling .. are you very tired. Until I don't know, if I'm awake,” Serena said with a smile.

Serena steps her foot towards the bathroom. His steps stopped when he heard a single voice. Serena turned her body again, she saw Daniel was already sitting on the bed with a leaning position.

“Available?” serena did not believe it.

Daniel got out of bed. He has not answered Serena's question. Daniel approached Serena's body with a sweet smile. Hugged it from behind.

“I can't sleep, if you're no longer beside me.” Daniel kissed Serena from behind, hugging her tightly.

“I love you, baby,” whispered Daniel in Serena's ear, smiling happily.

“I love you too.” Serena looked at the face of Daniel beside her head.

“Where are you?” ask Daniel gently.

“Come take a shower.” Serena takes off Daniel's embrace, and turns and embraces Daniel's hand. Take him to the bathroom.

Daniel smiled happily at Serena's invitation, “Are you okay, honey?” Daniel held Serena's forehead.

Serena laughed, knowing that her invitation was like a dream for Daniel. Daniel and Serena had not yet entered the bathroom. The sound of knocking on the door stopped his second step. Daniel shifted his eyes.

“Do we wake up too late, until Mr Han wakes us up for breakfast?” Serena looked at Daniel's face.

Daniel smiled, “Log in!” daniel said briefly.

Mr. Han went into the room. Wearing very neat clothes. He bowed respectfully, before saying the word.

“What's up?” ask Daniel quickly.

“Mr Kenzo is already below, Mr.”

Daniel looked at Serena's face, before looking back at Mr. Han. “Tell him, to wait. After shower, we will meet him.”

“Good, Sir. I'm sorry.” Mr. Han bowed respectfully, before leaving the room.

Serena was just daydreaming, again her heartbeat was abnormal. Daniel touched Serena's cheek gently.

“All will be fine.” Daniel pulls Serena's hand into the bathroom.

Both are soaking in the bathtub, which has been doused in the aroma of therapy. The water temperature has been set to warm. Serena turned her back to Daniel. He kept thinking about his meeting with Kenzo.

“Honey ... still thinking about others, when you were with me?” daniel asked with a smiling face.

Serena shook her head slowly, “I'm sorry, is she here to ask Shabira?” Serena was confused.

Daniel holds Serena's hand, “I know Kenzo's nature. He wouldn't be this calm, when it came to that woman. I'm sure, he doesn't know it yet,” Daniel said with confidence.

“I don't know, have to behave how with him later. Why does this world feel so narrow.” Serena was silent.

“If it's not narrow, I won't be able to be with you like this.” Daniel hugged Serena from behind. Peeping on Serena's lips for a while.

“Can I ask you something?” ask Daniel with a serious face.

“What do you want to know?” Serena frowned.

“This pack ...” Daniel holds a gunshot scar, which is on Serena's body.

“This was a shot, when I did one dangerous mission. In a casino.” Serena smiled faintly, she recalled her last act before leaving the mafia world.

“What are you doing in the casino, baby. You gambled?” ask Daniel with a serious face.

“Do not discuss again, quickly shower and go down.” Serena stands up from the bathtub, stepping towards the shower. Moisturize his body under the shower.

Daniel just silently looked at Serena bathing under the shower.

Daniel smiled faintly, before following Serena in the shower.

A little while later, Daniel and Serena had finished their bath. Serena wore a light yellow dres, while Daniel only wore a black tsirt with trousers.

“Sayang ..” Daniel approached the body of Serena who was just silently pecking in front of the bed.

“I'm a little nervous.” Serena bowed.

“Confirm me.” Daniel grabs Serena's waist, takes her out of the room.

“Good morning, Kenzo.” Daniel took off his embrace from Serena, he extended his hand in front of Kenzo.

Kenzo did not return Daniel's hand. He looked at the hand, with a face of disbelief.

“Kenzo my sister, don't you want to hug your brother.” Daniel opened both his hands.

“Are you serious, Daniel?” asked Kenzo with a face of disbelief.

“I'm sorry,” replied Daniel briefly.

Kenzo hugged Daniel, “I never thought you would forgive me. I'm sorry Daniel, I want to be like before.” Kenzo smiled happily, accepting Daniel's attitude this morning.

“Already, we forget what passed.” Daniel patted Kenzo's shoulder gently.

Serena just silently watched the scene that was now in front of her. He feels guilty if he has to damage the brotherhood that has just united it.

Kenzo took off his embrace, he smiled happily. After a few months away from Daniel, today he can unite again.

“Kenzo, have you had breakfast? let's have breakfast, you must miss Mr. Sam's toast a lot.” Daniel smiled kindly, taking Kenzo to breakfast.

“Sure, let's eat. I can't wait to spend all the menus on the table.” Kenzo glanced for a moment at Serena. It was awkward to say hello to Serena.

Why are you quiet, Serena.

Serena smilingly looked at Kenzo, although her heart was still filled with such great guilt.

I'm sorry Kenzo. If only I had known from the beginning, that you were a good man. None of this will ever happen.

“Come, darling.” Daniel grabs Serena's waist, taking her towards the dining table.

Kenzo followed in the footsteps of Daniel and Serena from behind. He still did not dare to put out a word for Serena. Although in his heart, he missed the figure of his best friend.

At the dining table, the three were already greeted by Mr. Han, Biao and Tama. They bowed their respects to Daniel and Kenzo. Afterwards reached out to welcome Kenzo's arrival this morning.

“Welcome again at this house, Mr.” Mr. Han smiled happily.

“Thank you. I miss this house so much and all of you.” Kenzo turned his head, watching every corner of the room.

“Please, Mr.” Mr. Han pulled a chair for Kenzo.

“Everything is the same, no one dares to change it,” Daniel said with a smile, he knew that Kenzo was watching the whole house.

Daniel sat in the main seat. Serena is to the right of Daniel, and Kenzo is to the left. Serena and Kenzo faced each other, but Serena just bowed silently. He did not dare to say a word.

“Serena ....” said Kenzo slowly, looking at Serena's face.

Daniel looked at Serena's face, he held Serena's hand with a smile, “Serena was not feeling well. That's why she looks uninspired,” Daniel replied, representing Serena's answer.

“Yes, my head is a little dizzy,” Serena replied with a forced smile.

“Let's have breakfast,” take Daniel with enthusiasm.

Kenzo still holds suspicions, against serena's attitude this morning.

There's something you're hiding. I know you very well Serena. You've changed from what I've known.

Kenzo ate his favorite toast.

“Daniel, where's Ny. Edritz?” ask Kenzo while looking.

“Mama is overseas. Take care of the branch there.”Daniel took the fresh juice and gulped it down slowly.

“What's all okay?”

Daniel was silent, knowing that Kenzo was a very thorough man.

He must have noticed the change in Serena's attitude this morning.

“All is well. What about you, Kenzo. You've been on vacation for a long time.”

“I'm not on vacation, but looking for Shabira.”

Serena chokes, Daniel takes a tissue and stands up from her seat, “Darling, are you okay.” Daniel patted Serena on the shoulder.

“Yes, I'm fine,” replied Serena quietly, she looked at Kenzo's face before looking down again.

“Kenzo, I'll take Serena into the room. He needs rest.”

“Good.” Kenzo looked at Daniel and Serena with suspicious faces.

There's something you're hiding from me. I've known you for a long time, Daniel.
