Mafia's In Love
S2 Chapter 8

Serena moved from her seat. Run fast towards the stairs. Serena walked up the stairs, not wanting to look back. His tears kept dripping, he wiped away every circle that fell. However, the circle of tears was as swift as trickling down.

Daniel looked at Serena. He was silent and did not want to say any more words. His hands are clenched strong. His heart was filled with the flames of anger. His eyes were blank, until his eyeballs turned into sharp glances.

Mr. Edritz looked at Mrs. Edritz, touch his hand slowly. He gave orders to the lady. Edritz, so that he would calm Daniel's mind at this time. Mrs. Edritz nodded slowly, then moved from his seat. He sat down beside Daniel. Patting Daniel's shoulders.

“Daniel, mommy knows. What you feel now. Mama can't blame Serena, nor you. But, that man had indeed once filled Serena's heart. Mama is sure, she will love you more. He had already made up his mind, to leave the man. Serena chose life, with you. Give Serena time, she also needs time to forget the man.”

“That's true Daniel. You have to be patient with all this. Papa won't, you're back to being rude to Serena. He just remembered his past. It's not easy for him, to accept everything new, and forget what happened,” continued Mr. Edritz.

“Daniel fears losing Serena again, Ma.”

“No dear, you won't lose Serena. Serena also has a great love for you.” Mrs. Edritz kept trying, to dampen Daniel's emotions.

“But he still loves the man.”

“Don't think about the man. Mom and Dad should leave soon. Mama asked, you can change your bad nature all this time. Serena is a stubborn woman, and very rebellious. You must understand its new nature.” Mrs. Edritz moved from his seat.

“Mama be careful on the road.” Daniel looked at her face. Edritz.

“Jaga Serena well, Daniel.” Patting Daniel's shoulders gently, before leaving the main hall. Some waiter followed Mrs. Edritz to prepare for all your needs. Edritz.

Daniel leaned his head, looking up. He held his head with both hands. Daniel tries to temper his emotions. Although at this moment, he was eager to vent his anger. But all the messages that were sent by Mrs. Edritz, get Daniel back to thinking straight.

“Zeroun Zein's. That guy always ruined everything!” Daniel closed his eyes, to calm his chaotic mind.

Inside the room, Serena picked up a pillow and hugged it tightly. He was crying so much. All back in attendance, he kept trying to forget but was powerless to do so.

"Zeroun, I'm sorry."

A few years ago, in Country Z.

Serena sprinted, following the guards who took her away. Not yet at the destination, Serena again stopped her steps. The bodyguard protecting her was shot, Serena stepped back and searched for the source of the gunfire. His eyes continued to be alert, looking towards the shady trees.

Several black cars, stopped in front of Serena. He breathed back. Serena continued to look towards the black car lined up. A faint smile was etched on her sweet lips. A couple of guys got out of the car. One beautiful woman, also got out of one of the cars. They stepped quickly towards Serena in unison. He bowed respectfully when he was in front of Serena.

“Good day Boss, are you okay?” Shabira noticed the small wound on Serena's leg.

“I'm fine.” Serena stared hard.

The beautiful woman named Shabira, adopted sister and right hand Serena all this time. Shabira seemed happy, when she met Serena again that day. His gaze was distorted, at the figure of the man lying on the ground. Shabira approached the man, and turned her body. Looked at his face carefully. He knew that the man was not a part of his team.

“Is he our enemy, Boss?” Shabira pulls out a gun, to make sure that the man no longer threatens Serena's life.

“No, he's a good guy. She was shot by a sniper,” Serena replied casually.

“Shooter? do they know our plans, Boss?” Shabira panicked. He did not want his mission to fail today.

Serena shook her head slowly, “I met that stupid guy earlier. We have to get out of here as soon as possible.”

“Good, Boss.” Shabira opens the car door, giving Serena a way to enter.

Duarr..! Duarr!

Two gunshots stopped Serena's steps. He flipped his body, and recalled Zeroun back at the scene. His heart was stifled, he did not want to go from there. He wanted to make sure that Zeroun was okay.

“What are you waiting for, Boss?” Shabira looked at Serena with a questionable face.

“Give me my gun! We have to solve one problem, before going.”

Shabira took two firearms belonging to Serena. Give it with respect. Serena pulled the trigger on both guns. Staring sharply at the few bodyguards who were ready to wait for his orders.

“We must help the man,” command Serena quickly.

“Good, Boss!” answer everything, simultaneously.

Serena walked first. Shabira follows Serena from behind. Several bodyguards also lined up behind, following Serena's footsteps. Several others, got into the car, and took the car following Serena.

Serena walked over quickly, to return to meet Zeroun. His eyes widened in shock, upon seeing Zeroun in danger. He saw the figure of a masked man, holding a firearm right in Zeroun's face. His heart was scared, he did not want to lose Zeroun that quickly.

Duarr! Duarr!

Two shots off Serena, towards the masked man. Until the man fell to the ground and no longer breathed. Some of the guards, also shot at all the enemies. Until Zeroun's enemy that day, surrender.

Serena stared at the body of the man who was Zeroun's driver. The man was unconscious, with a gunshot wound to the chest. The red liquid poured down profusely, soaking up the black coat he was wearing.

“Bring him to the hospital!” Serena looked at Shabira's face, and gave the order to help the man.

“Good, Boss!” Shabira ran quickly towards Lukas, bringing the man into the car. Shabira drove the car towards the hospital.

“You're not okay!” Serena looked at the face of Zeroun who was already standing. But Zeroun, still silent.

Serena again breathed a sigh of relief, when she saw that Zeroun was still alive. He saw a gunshot wound, on Zeroun's leg. He was eager to help Zeroun. His heart ached, as he saw that Zeroun was in danger. But one important mission, he must finish. He didn't want to fail, today.

Serena turned her body, and left Zeroun. Zeroun stopped his footsteps, clasping his hands tightly. Quickly, all the guards pointed their weapons at Zeroun. Serena codes her subordinates, until they all return to lower their weapons.

“What do you want, Zeroun? Sorry, I can't see you. And please, don't meet me,” said Serena gently, she turned her eyes away.

Although his heart was heavy, he had to leave Zeroun. He does not want to get in trouble. Today Zeroun had already wasted the precious time he had. Serena tried to strengthen her heart.

“Erena, I always think of you. At least I know who you are. You're so mysterious Erena. Explain to me, what is your job?” Zeroun looked at Serena's face with sadness.

Serena was silent for a moment, as Zeroun asked about the work she had been doing all along. Serena frowned, before repeating Zeroun's question.

“Work?”

“Yes, you shoot and have a gun. You have a lot of men. Who are you, Erena?” Zeroun stared at Erena's face to charge for one answer.

Serena took a deep breath before replying, “Mafia. I'm the Queen Star mob leader. Are you satisfied, Zeroun Zein.” Erena stared intently at Zeroun's face which suddenly paled.

He tells his identity so easily. One secret that he had been guarding, he just told a foreign man, who he had only met twice. Serena regretted her words again. Some of the bodyguards were also shocked, when they heard his words.

Serena always kills people, who have managed to figure out her identity. But right now, Serena did not kill Zeroun. He leaves Zeroun and lets the man know the identity he has been hiding.

Zeroun again prevents Serena from leaving. Serena was too heavy to leave Zeroun. He was already in love, though he himself did not know, when the feeling arose. But in her innermost heart, Serena wanted to be with Zeroun.

The shooting, grows the seeds of love between Zeroun and Serena. One very important thing, which was once in Serena's memory.

As Daniel points a gun at Zeroun, he recalls that memory. As he saves Zeroun, for the first time. Until finally Serena returned to remember all her past that had been lost, because of that event.

Serena closed her eyes for a moment. Forcibly slamming into Zeroun's hand. He no longer wanted to look at Zeroun's face. With heavy steps, he got into the car. Drove his car and leave Zeroun alone there.

Just a few meters away, Serena stopped her car. One guard knocked on the car window from behind the wheel. Serena opened the windshield, staring intently.

“What's up, Boss? are you okay?” The man looked worried, when he saw Serena stop his car suddenly.

“Partly follow me, the rest wait at the collection point.”

Serena closed the car glass. The man bowed respectfully and ran quickly to the back of the car. Serena turned the car. Three cars followed Serena's pace, while the others headed to where she said they were.

“Hopefully you're still there.” Serena could not leave Zeroun there. He wanted to help Zeroun, and make sure the man was in good shape.

Serena smiled happily, as she saw that Zeroun was still at the scene of the shooting. Quickly, Serena got out of the car and ran towards Zeroun.

“I'll take you home, your legs shot.”

“Thank you.”

Without Zeroun's consent, Serena pulls Zeroun's hand into her car. Serena continued to watch, Zeroun's legs filled with a lot of red liquid. Zeroun smiled happily when he saw Serena go back to pick him up. Serena took over the wheel, several cars also accompanied her. Erena drove the car so fast.

Zeroun sat next to Serena, his eyes constantly looking at Serena's face. The gunshot wound to his leg was no longer felt. The two of them just kept quiet, without even wanting to say a word. The car continued to speed, until the two arrived at Zeroun's house.

Several bodyguards helped the now injured Zeroun. Serena followed Zeroun from behind. Zeroun sat on a sofa. The look in her eyes was still not removed from Serena's face. Serena pulled out a small chair, and sat down facing Zeroun's feet.

One waiter, put the P3K tool on the table. With so much calm, Serena picked up the box. Serena grasps scissors, thread and some other tools needed.

“Why do you keep looking at me.” Serena began to slowly eject the bullet, and removed the red liquid that was pouring profusely.

“Are you really a mafia, Erena?” Zeroun did not feel any pain. His eyes looked coldly at Serena.

“Do you not believe?” He continued his treatment of Zeroun's wounds.

Zeroun was silent for a moment. Zeroun watched Serena who sewed her wound so expertly. The stitches are like those done by a professional doctor.

“You're not like the bad guy.” Zeroun continued to investigate. He was still not convinced, by the words of Serena.

“It's done. You'll be well soon, after taking the medicine. Don't move too much.” Serena stared at Zeroun's face. He did not want to, too much to uncover the secrets he had.

“Where can I find you?” Zeroun was curious about the figure of the woman who was now sitting in front of him.

“We'll meet another day. Now, I have to leave immediately. Today you've made my schedule a mess, Zeroun Zein.” Serena's eyes turned cold, Serena left Zeroun on the sofa. Get in the car, and drive it fast.

Zeroun stared at Serena's back as she moved away. Throwing her breath out violently, as Serena's car left her yard.

“I was completely fooled by him.” Zeroun looked back at his wound, “I'll see you again, Erena.”

Serena continued to drive her car fast. His eyes stared intently at the straight path that stretched out. Zeroun's name reappeared in his mind.

“Why can I be this reckless! The man recognized my face!” Serena increased the speed of her car.
