Jerry could only pierce through the annoyance and just stare at Kyra's departure.

Kyra stayed quiet along the way to the house. He just hugged Alden's waist tight on Alden's orders so that their acting looks real and somehow yes now he has not released it.

“deg... deg.. deg...” Kyra's heartbeat beats faster than usual when she recalls what Alden said to her in the parking lot.

The next morning Kyra had breakfast with Alden. She was also Dian and did not discuss anything during the meal.
