Eps. 11 Putting out the Fire

In the kitchen the smoke billowed because the burning fire was too big.

“Luckily I managed to save the meat. But what about this fire ?”muttered Kyra seeing the fire that kept burning even bigger as if it was going to burn the kitchen.

The girl tried to put out the fire, but she failed to put it out.

“uhuk...uhuk..Kyra coughed because she inhaled a lot of smoke that contained carbon dioxide.

Alden immediately ran and went into the kitchen to see the smoke rising.

“Gosh... !”meek Alden was surprised to see the fire raging and almost engulfed the kitchen.

“Side let me handle !”said Alden approached Kyra and pulled her body to protect her.

Kyra retreated and walked towards the door. He wanted to get water to put out the fire.

“Do not take water, it will not be able to extinguish a fire of this size.”ucap Alden looked back at Kyra who looked panicked and carried a bucket.

“Lantas what can extinguish it if I do not take water ?!”the girl stopped and looked back at Alden.

“Please calm down, don't panic. It's just a small matter.”balas Alden briefly and asks the girl to trust him.

Alden then moved quickly he stared at the kitchen spices that were on the table near the stove and found flour there.

Quickly lo again it took all the flour that was on the table and immediately sprinkled it into the place of the blazing fire.

“bush... !”the fire instantly extinguished even though the kitchen became dirty and flour filled the floor.

“braak... !”Alden immediately opened all the windows that were there so that the smoke immediately came out and changed with new air.

“Fyuuh..Thankfully the fire went out.”ucap Kyra was relieved by her trembling legs and made her fall to the floor.

“You okay ?”alden immediately approached Kyra and helped her to her feet.

“I didn't think it turned out that you could put out such a big fire so quickly. Thank you for helping maybe if there is no you this kitchen has been a fire.”balas Kyra who is still in shock and sitting in a chair because she feels her legs are still limp.

“Ya.. but sorry I made your kitchen dirty like this. I'll clean it up later. But why can there be a fire like that?”alden's reply stood beside Kyra.

The girl then told him that she actually intended to cook the bacon, but somehow suddenly the fire grew on its own like someone ignited it.

“Where is the meat now ?” ask Alden.

“The meat is there, but I'm still afraid to cook it again. What if there is a real fire later ?”the girl replied while pointing to the corner of the room where she felt the half-cooked meat earlier.

Alden then took the meat on the table and reworked it. He could subconsciously make seasonings for the bacon as he looked at some of the seasonings available there.

“What are you doing ?”kyra said she saw the man smearing the smoked meat with a mixture of spices.

“I'll cook it for you.” replied Alden turned his head to the side staring at Kyra who was seen staring at him.

Kyra finds it strange to see Alden, a street beggar, but the man can handle the bacon reliably and looks better than he does when cooking.

“Who is this guy actually ?”inner Kyra was curious and thought that the man was no ordinary person.

Moments later Alden finished grilling the bacon. A fragrant smell filled the kitchen. He put the fire back to grilling.

“This is it. Tweet.”ucap Alden brings cooked bacon to Kyra's place.

“Hmm. How can you make sour meat taste like a restaurant like this?”kyra said as she sliced the smoked meat on the plate and ate it.

“Ya... I myself do not know the truth either. I don't know why all of a sudden I can cook it when I see some of the spices are there, but as if I'm used to it.” replied the man could not explain it with words.

Alden then enjoyed the smoked meat.

“Newly this time I ate delicious meat, but somehow it still feels that there is less fit. Like less oil to soften it.”batin Alden taste the results of his own cooking.

The two men then chatted while eating.

“You how old are you right now ?”kyra asked what it was.

“My age.. I don't know how old I am.” replied Alden put the fork he held while holding the head that felt a little pain after trying to remember it.

“If you look like your age is not much different from me. Maybe you're two or three years younger than me.”balas Kyra looked at Alden's face.

“Oh... if so I should call you big sister ?”reply Alden spontaneous.

“Ya. Kyra can too, sister can too.” replied the girl with a small smile and returned to eating the smoked meat in front of her.

After eating, Kyra took the dirty dishes and put them in the laundry.

“Put it down... ahem.. sis let me wash it.”ucap Alden approached Kyra and took the dirty plate she was holding.

Kyra walked back and out of the kitchen. He stopped at the door and turned around.

“Ehem... Alden.. I bought you a little shirt earlier and I put it on the chair. I know that Shirt is not too expensive, but hopefully it fits you, and wear it later after a shower.”ucap Kyra looked at Alden who was still washing dishes.

“Ya brother thank you. Sorry to bother you. I'm so glad you bought me my shirt. Of course I will wear it later.”return the man with a small smile then return to continue his unfinished homework.

Twenty minutes later after finishing the dishes. Alden saw a dirty kitchen floor filled with flour after the fire extinguishing incident.

“I should clean this up first. I have to return Big Brother Kyra's favor to me.”gumam Alden when stepping on a floor full of flour.

Alden then cleaned the kitchen and mopped it up. Moments later the floor looks clean shiny but the body looks dirty.

“Huft.... I take a shower first.”tapnya out of the kitchen and back to the front take the clothes that was given by Kyra.

He looked towards the bed where the girl was asleep and he continued on his way into the bathroom.

In Alden's bathroom how long it's been there for about 90 minutes. He felt his body was unusually dirty and cleaned his body until it felt bad.

“clack..”.Alden came out of the bathroom wearing the new clothes he got.

He went back to the chair and sat there. Five minutes later, Kyra wakes up from her sleep. He sat down and turned around.

“Alden... is that really you?!”kyra's strangeness when she sees Alden clean with wet hair and the new clothes she wears makes her look like a different person than before.

“Iya sis... it's me...how do I deserve to wear this shirt ?”he said while holding the clothes he was wearing.

Kyra nodded her eyes at Alden and suddenly she hurriedly walked towards the kitchen with an excuse to drink some water.

“Why did you leave after seeing me?”muttered Alden staring at Kyra leaving from before him.
